Klipsch RPII Line Overview: audioadvice.io...
We’ve all heard the saying “if it ain't broke, don’t fix it,” and that was exactly our thoughts when we heard about the Reference Premiere II line. The original series seemed to have hit the nail on the head with an outstanding speaker that, rightfully so, has a large number of owners and fans. Luckily, Klipsch has taken what they’ve learned from their super-popular 600M bookshelf speakers and improved upon them to create the 600M RPII’s

Also guys FYI These bad boys are HUGE. Certified skullbashers & toebreakers 🤣. Very powerful and a beautiful dark ebony color.
Yes, they are a bit large for a bookshelf speaker but that lets them produce! Thanks for watching
I subscribe right away after just 1 minute to it, thank you
Thank you! We hope you enjoy our channel.
Estoy esperando las mías que me llegan esta semana, será mi primera experiencia hi fi y creo que tome una buena decisión. Gracias por tu revisión. Saludos desde Colombia.
Esperamos que disfrute de sus nuevos altavoces. Gracias por ver.
It seems the last 5 minutes or so was what i was looking for. Thanks!
Glad you found it! Thanks for watching
The RP600 IIs are one of the best values in the business. They are easy to drive by just about any amplifier, and they work equally well in home theater and music reproduction. Just set them up, drop the needle and take it all in.
Thanks for sharing
Maybe after doing the GR -Research upgrade to fix the frequency responce
@@stephenyoud6125 There is no speaker out there which is good enough for that guy
@@enos1 I disagree, there are, and he designed them. I just wish I too could hear them
@@stephenyoud6125 keep his hands off of these speakers. fine as are.
Literally 8-9 hours left!! BH Photo Klipsch 600m ii $299.00!!! Plus free shipping for me in Michigan.
We see $499 which is the same price as our site and we offer free shipping too! www.audioadvice.com/klipsch-rp-600m-ii-bookshelf-speakers
@@AudioAdvice yep confirmed as my total was $316.94 + free shipping. Had a few others reach to me from another page saying they got in or they missed the 20 hour sale. Regardless that was as low as I ever seen them fit certain.
These are excellent
Yes they are! Thanks for sharing
Loved these when I listened to them. I’m considering upgrading my current ones for them!
Glad you liked them
Please review and do a sound test on the bigger brothers the 8000 RP ii
Thanks for the suggestion
@@AudioAdvice Anytime. Keep up the good work. Have a wonderful day 😉💯
Like them. Can you tell us what stands you show in the video?

@@AudioAdvice Great thank you
I like the MK2 , look like Klipsch improved few things here but Randy prefer the original version. Just saying !
I also don't think they worth 750 dollars more like 550 dollars
Thanks for watching and sharing. Everything has gotten more expensive these days that is made in Asia, we got too used to very good gear for a very low price.
$524 at crutch
I've heard both personally and I agree with Randy. The first version sounds better. I did not care for the new version at all. But then again, speakers are a very subjective subject!
Excelente bocina y sonido
Thank you
I got my Miis a few months ago on sale for $449 and have been putting them on wooden barstools temporarily until I get some backordered stands next month. The stands are 4" shorter than the stools, but can be filled with sand. Would I likely notice sonic improvement because of the mounts or would I need to raise the fronts so the tweeter are more aligned with ear level?
The real speaker stands should certainly help. They have a pretty wide dispersion so you should be alright if they are a little lower. It would be best to test each height and see which you prefer or if you can even hear a difference.
@@AudioAdvice Thanks for the response :)
Should I connect my speaker wire to the L or H side on the back of the 600M IIs?
Leave the jumpers in and L. Thanks for watching
@@AudioAdviceWhy L ? I used to plug mine into the middle 2
Do you have to have an amplifier?
Yes, these are passive speakers, thanks for watching
Would you recommend these speakers for a smaller room too?
Yes, you could get great results even in a smaller room. You can also chat or call with our experts at audioadvice.com if you want some other suggestions for smaller rooms.
it took me a while to decide if to buy them or not without having heard them in my home. I just ordered the RP-600M II for $419 plus tax. I hope I made the right decision.
BTW: is it possible to mount them on a wall? or do they have to be on a stand or a shelf? I could not find an answer. My logic tells me it's not possible to wall mount them due to the read port
We think you'll love them but if you purchased from us, you can always exchange for something else if not. Chat with our team at audioadvice.com or give us a call and we can help you with the best place to put them. Mounting on the wall will be difficult.
@@AudioAdvice Thank you.
What is better to buy Klipsch RP-60OM II or Klipsch RB-81 II?
Please reach out to our team at www.audioadvice.com to discuss which is best for your needs. Thanks for watching
I actually have to mount these on a shelf, what is the closest i can possibly mount to the wall?
If you can get 6" or more, that would be good, keeping them away from side walls would be ideal too . Thanks for watching
Nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
I have a question: Will be there a comparison between RP 6000f and RP 6000f ii?
We do not have that on the agenda. The popularity of the 600M drove us to make this comparison. Thanks for watching
Hi, just wanted to know for a 12ft/13ft room with listening distance of 10ft approx Klipsch 600M will match or 500M is a better match as per room size.
Contact our team of experts at audioadvice.com and they can help you pick the best ones for you 😁
What are the Make and Model of the speaker stands used for this review?
Its these from B&W www.audioadvice.com/home-audio/speakers/speaker-stands/bowers-wilkins-fs-600-s3-speaker-stands Thanks for watching
Is it possible to request a piano gloss finish variant?
Not that we know of. You may want to reach out to Klipsch directly for that.
Hello, I have been watching your videos for a long time, always very good information.
I hope you can help me, other channels do not respond but I see that you always do.
I have a small dedicated room that is 8.2 ft x 15.4 (126 sq ft)
I sit 6.8 feet from the center channel, since I have the sofa 3.2 feet from the back wall and the speakers and TV are 5.1 feet further from the front wall (due to ceiling issues).
For my space, would it be better to buy the "Klipsch rp-5000f" headlamps or the "rp-6000f" headlamps?
So that the center does not look gigantic I am thinking of an rp-500c and surrounds rp-500m.
I know they are a good match with the rp-5000f, but could I put the rp-6000f in my small room, and would they match the 500 series? (I would like more to be able to opt for the rp-6000rp, but if it is not a good idea for space, I would not do it, or because they would not match the 500 series).
I hope you can help me please, thank you!
Please reach out to our team via phone or chat on our website and they would be happy to help you out!
WE'VE GOT SPEAKER FABRICATORS COMING OUT OF OUR AZZES. SOoooo What do I do? Muy buena boxina

Very very good for their size. These are quite impressive speakers. www.audioadvice.com/home-audio/speakers/bookshelf-speakers/klipsch-rp-600m-ii-bookshelf-speakers
do they sell speaker stands?
Klipsch primarily designs and makes great sounding speakers. You can see everything they make here: www.audioadvice.com/shop-by-brand/klipsch - but if you are looking for speaker stands, then shopping here is a great place to find stands that will work very well for these speakers and more: www.audioadvice.com/home-audio/speakers/speaker-stands Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
What speaker stands are those?
They are a pair our videographer had but they are no longer available that we know of, sorry
Losing a bit of credibility when you say 'if it ain't broke...' with the original RP-600M, since it is widely known to have that massive dip at the crossover point. That has been addressed in the RP-600M II. Would have been nice if you had discussed that; would have sounded less like an advertisement and more like a review.
As someone who has owned both, they are both great speakers. I upgraded, but I wouldn't suggest doing so to anyone else who owns the RP-I line. Yes, the RP-II's measure and sound better, but not for the massive price difference between the models right now.
Agreed. They need to bring that price tag down.
Thank you Michael for your point. We tried to cover this in the video but may not have explained it clearly enough. As you point out, the upgrade decision relates to how much someone values the performance improvement versus the cost of the upgrade. For every person this is a different decision/equation. Thanks for taking the time to watch the video and give additional input.
Did you consider the Polk R200 ?

Like Your video's..I am a JBL guy..Just purchased (4) 530's and (2) 590's for a heavily discount..The horns (waveguide) are fantastic,, I paid $1300 total with free shipping..my home system is now hreat..Klipsch are great also, but Jbl is my choice..Thanks...
That sounds like a nice set up. Thanks for watching and commenting
Any music...?
Sorry, we think YT does not let you really hear how things sound. You are listening to the microphone used and your playback system through tons of compression. Thanks for watching
Is this guy just reading from a promotional catalogue? If so, are all of his videos like this?
First time watching anything of his but it's kinda nebulous if there's nothing in terms of how they actually sound, placement, characteristics of sound, etc...
It sounds like you found it towards the end.
Now $450 all over.
This is a great video, it would be so amazing if you could see our NEW video and let us know what you think!
Thank you
Basically a commercial, not a review
Thanks for the feedback
