At least square it! XD Put only two screws in each L-bracket (one in each piece of wood), then measure the diagonals. If the two diagonals are different lengths, your screen isn't square. Tap the corner of the longer diagonal with a rubber mallet, or even the butt of your drill's handle, it doesn't take much at all. Measure again. When the two diagonals are the same, add the rest of the screws to the L-brackets.
It's a really simple step and will save you the headache of realizing a year from now that your screen is slightly crooked and then never being able to stop seeing it. ;)
Thanks Bro 👊🏾 I was about to hire someone to build me one for my screened in Lanai. The way you just built it looks way simpler then the other 5 complicated videos I've watched prior. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you Ken!! I tried gluing mine with Liquid nails to no avail. lol Nails split the wood. This has helped me soooo much!!
Great video. Thanks for showing a simpler way to do this.
I have viewed your videos on screen paints and have alot of respect for you. I must ask. Honestly? Does slapping a frame together like that really last? I can see if it is permanenly mounted but not one that you would move around. How many board ends crack from not PRE DRILLING?
Fantastic video! Quick question, if I'm going to hang this up, a black frame would be nice. Would I paint these black, put felt over them, or possibly use more wood painted black to put over the top of this. What's the best way to get it to look nice?
