I bought a used Ocean One with 400 miles on it. I agree - it is a great vehicle (after having it for 2.5 months). I am in Texas and I feel confident in ownership now with the FOA - and some regional service centers. I took a cross country trip in the Ocean the month I got it -it was a learning curve with it being my first EV. But it performed great and the travel cost was so much less (stayed at hotels with free overnight charging and even when paying it was cheaper). I intend to keep it and drive it until it gives out. I very much enjoy my Ocean.
i love my ocean. I bought it a few days ago. This is way better than the Vinfast. But you will have to change the 12V battery first thing, then have the 2.2 update, after that waterproof the front connector, then have the service center do the waterpump recall. Vinfast is a trash car
I hate the fact that the company went under cuz this was to be my first EV but I guess them going under slapped me back to reality. But this is the only designed EV that I liked. And no it ain't perfect but still styling and looks was nailed
Thank you for the post. It's nice to hear some positive feedback. I recently purchased an Ocean One through a local used car dealer for a fraction of the price. I asked lots of questions, but not knowing the issues until after driving it for a few miles. The dealer wasn't completely open about all the problems. No surprise. Several several UA-cam, reddit, and Google searches later ... I have major Fisker anxiety. I thought I was buying a new car (250 miles) essentially, but really, the entire fleet was a bag of lemons.
@@c200-zq3zm The car is a really fun machine. The problem is simply always the same thing...Fisker went BK. To a large degree that means no support, no service, no parts, and no warranty. Had Fisker survived and gotten their act together the Ocean would have been spectacular. If you have any questions, reach out to me. I might can help.
Henrik is a bum. He should be ashamed of himself and his own legacy. If he had any type of conscience he would have donated $1M of his own money to FOA but hes a terrible guy.
Thanks for this. I'm on the same boat at just under 12k miles. I'm buying 2 tires at a time versus rotating and buying 4 later. Reason being the front ones are going out way faster anyway. I see little points of putting the low threads to the rear.
Thank you for this video! I'm buying a used Ocean with 3400 miles on the odo at about 25% of MSRP, but in an even more remote/rural setting in Montana. Did you ever get 2.2 pushed OTA? I assume you never had resolution on the vents.
People who enjoy the power usually complain about tire wear. It was the case with Corvette and 911 owners as well as the last and second to the last previous generation of Supras. They had different sized front/rear tires so rotation wasn't an option.

Tire wear. I own an Ocean, many less miles than yours at 2,600 miles, a recent purchase. It could be due to weight distribution. My other car is a 2020 BMW i3s REX. The REX is a range extender scooter motor that runs a generator to maintain the high voltage battery state of charge. It's located in the back passenger sided. As a result, the back passenger side tire wears faster. However, it does wear evenly. So that does not account for the edge wear on your tire. Anyway I like the continentals and I'll be looking for tires, eventually, of course not needed yet or anytime soon. Cheers.
Thank's for beeing there, we'll get through this too even if it's costy 😱. Maybe Santa gives us an amazing gift...? 🎁 I'll better be really nice in december 😂
For a vehicle of its size it doesn’t seem to have a lot of cargo area. Also, I wonder how accurate that range estimate is. It’s a vehicle with incomplete software and a LOT of work goes into range estimation adjusting for elevation changes, use of A/C, etc. and the impact on range.
Thank you very much for the video. I love my car too, but it’s only has a 7000 miles and I start getting issues with the 12 V battery for some reason the lights in the cabin stay on I think that drained the battery I don’t know. should I change the battery or just keep charging
@@mikhailaminov4557 Hard to say for sure. I would test it with a multi meter. If you find it's low, you could either replace or put a battery tender on it.

Do you drive in Earth mode? If yes the brake regen only uses the right front wheel. In FUN mode all four wheels are active and you don’t get the extra wear on the right front!
Not really. I drive ONLY in Fun mode...never used earth mode because of the dangerous lags... And I still got the right front wear. Software 2.1 and 2.2 is supposed to balance out the front and rear motor engagement. So maybe that also helps with evening out tire wear from here on out.
@@K9Trixxwhat dangerous lags? Earth mode operates like an ICE vehicle when pulling out under normal driving behaviors and then it moves out really quick if you pass down harder on the electron pedal. Not sure what you are talking about.
