It baffles me how many people are so concerned about the launch counter. If you do one launch a week, it will take you 10 years to get to maximum launches. And you really didn't need it. Fun mode is plenty fast, and Hyper mode is brutally fast.😊
Why would you even think about a Chapter 11 car? No service, no parts, no warranty and on the top the cars was sold for 1/2 price due the investor in milking the company. An insurance company in the US totaled a car due a dent in the front door -
It could be a great car, but as in all electric cars being software driven. There does not seem to be much support for the ailing company, so future updates will not follow unfortunately, unless they have some sort of turnaround. Shame😢
if they had left the launch for 6 months and modified the software but would not have been in trouble. However they were desperate for some cash coming in and reviews crippled them. The car looks so nice compared to others in the same class but buy this and your car needs fixing they may not be around and it is a computer on wheels.
Whilst I dont always agree with MKBHD's car takes, it would be unfair to dismiss his point of view because he's a tech reviewer. More and more tech recently is being released with "features coming soon" (especially with AI products). That is poor for consumers and terrible for people buying cars, as Mr Mobile says, you should never buy something based on future promises. Even applies to Tesla's but they have a track record of delivering.
Car already sold. I said that in video especially for sceptics like you @user-coffee … so therefor had no influence on if I think good or bad. And as I said in video it’s actually a good car which drives nicely.
A decent SUV? LOL The company is on the verge of bankruptcy. Meaning updates to this unfinished concoction, future service, and parts will be impossible. In the US, Oceans which sold for $60K are now priced at $25K or so just to move remaining inventory. Edmunds has story of a $69K Ocean with 4,220 miles now worth $21K on the used car market. A person would have to be a complete imbecile to buy one of these things.
@@Perseverance21385 because bankruptcy filings are a slow burn until filed. The legal wording, finances and similar take time to come up with. Without a major cash injection Fisker is done. You realise that a LOT of cars have a ‘launch’ counter, right? This isn’t a new thing and a lot of manufacturers will void the warranty if they know you’ve been launching it. Always read the small print!
It's a boost mode counter, not a launch counter. Per Fisker, they will examine the drivetrain to make sure it's sound and reset it. 564 hp with 514 lb-ft of instant torque is a lot....

Very nice car 🚗
Why would ANYONE even look at a Fisker when it's second-hand value (on we buy ANY car) is £0... As even they won't buy it!
Other than zero warranty, bankrupt company, dreadful software... Its got so much going for it..!!
And when you want to buy one, youll check to see how many of the 500 launces you have left to use. 😆 🤣
It baffles me how many people are so concerned about the launch counter.
If you do one launch a week, it will take you 10 years to get to maximum launches.
And you really didn't need it. Fun mode is plenty fast, and Hyper mode is brutally fast.😊
Actually, per Fisker, they will examine the drivetrain to make sure it's sound and reset it. 564 hp with 514 lb-ft of instant torque is a lot....
Exactly.
Not ending well as of 18/07/2024…..😢
software issues - oh just like VW then...
What's the point. The company is going out of business and you can't get any parts for any kind of repair.
Evening guys
Evening.
HUGE NEWS TATA WILL MARKET THE FISKER OCEAN IN INDIA BY FOURTH QAURTER OF 2024 !!!!!!!!
Why would you even think about a Chapter 11 car?
No service, no parts, no warranty and on the top the cars was sold for 1/2 price due the investor in milking the company. An insurance company in the US totaled a car due a dent in the front door -
Strange reviewing a car from a dead company 🤷
They don’t just have ”financial difficulties”
I've heard comments that should Fisker go bankrupt, Land Rover should buy the rights for the design.
NEVER EVER TOUCH A FISKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was going to buy one. But no dealer near me. Then i seen the bad reviews video.
Fisker production is stopped permanently and workers involved in this project were all sent home according to Magnas earning report.
On hold for this year may restart end of 2024
Richard why are you so nice about this car
He's trying to sell his own 😅
May be he just liked it? Nothing wrong with that as long as he says what he actually thinks about it.
Car already sold. I said that in video especially for sceptics like you @user-coffee … so therefor had no influence on if I think good or bad.
And as I said in video it’s actually a good car which drives nicely.
@eganeles Thank you and yes it has to be real
Richard what's the point of all this rehabbing when the teslas are there, ready and cheap
Good product needs advance tech like lucid motors or german cars. Hope they pull out of bankruptcy start producing cars pre orders.
The UA-camr whose expertise are technology related, like smartphones. He has no clue about cars, he needs to stay home and play his video games 😂
Did you see the size of the screen in the car? This is a smartphone on wheels. The unnamed UA-camr is precisely the good expert to review this car.
The Tesla felt EXACTLY like driving an iPad inside a box - with overpriced interior materials.
Oddly, he never truly showed the car in real driving mode - just in the parking lot? That itself is a subpar “car” review.
The handling and feel is great. Software is shit
Otherwise their bloody bankrupt….what the hell
A decent SUV? LOL
The company is on the verge of bankruptcy.
Aren’t fisker going bust?
Not yet. Hopefully won't.
Fisker prepares for bankruptcy

And? You can still say its a good or bad car
Why should I believe a Tesla fan boy ?? I'll believe it only if announced by Fisker.
@@Perseverance21385 because bankruptcy filings are a slow burn until filed. The legal wording, finances and similar take time to come up with. Without a major cash injection Fisker is done. Lucid has a cushion from investors and an SUV that will sell well coming out. Rivian while still bit rocky is looking the best of the rest. Henrik Fisker is a conman
Come on, how can you call this car decent if it has a launch counter?
You realise that a LOT of cars have a ‘launch’ counter, right? This isn’t a new thing and a lot of manufacturers will void the warranty if they know you’ve been launching it. Always read the small print!
It's a boost mode counter, not a launch counter. Per Fisker, they will examine the drivetrain to make sure it's sound and reset it. 564 hp with 514 lb-ft of instant torque is a lot....
0:01 its a bankrupt car...
Software looks like it was made by an intern in about two days. Horrible design and UX. Look at those transition animations between the different screens (or complete look thereof). When he enlarges the nav the bottom third of the screen goes black even though it's in the light theme. Glitchy as hell! And no efficiency readout?! Laughable.
Fisker are very funked
Fisker will not last due to potential bankruptcy
