scraping is such a satisfying game mechanic, its like playing pressure washer simulator lol
i am unsure to listen advices from a wanted criminal.... that CS 2.... ;-p
A few parts of this video I have improved upon. #1 "unknowns" don't have to only be 2k, the higher ones just mean there is a bigger cluster as you get closer. #2 don't fly 200-300, as you get to 3km fly slow like 30-50 and the panels are much less likely to de-spawn. If you are willing to space walk and move boxes in space then you can indeed fit a full 26 SCU's in the back (2 full depot worth). #3 I find it better to use 2 abrade modules and I took the 3rd module off the ship so I can use the tractor beam a bit better.
You should use the scan angle to get the exact location. I don’t think anything disappears, it’s that the location with standard angle can be a huge distance from the real location.
It good to see that someone is taking about panels all the other guides don’t say anything about panels

The Vulture is part of the free fly event July 12th thru the 19th (2024). I'm about to try this out!
Keep scanner PIERCE on 50% and they will not disappear if you stay about 50-75 speed and keep pinging. When you get c lose they will disappear but thats because the panels are spawning and if you just sit there for about 30 seconds they will appear around you.

Beemo. Still struggling to find my groove with SC , between lag deaths, glitches and general Star citizen nom gameplay deaths i am on 0 cash in game. I seriously think this games devs thinks that bugs and crashes are a feature.
Clicked on the thumbnail because I was interested into panel salvaging. Although panel doesn't occur in the title or hashtags. Most video's about salvage are into contracts.
Another good tip is to take out a coms array and do bunker missions with the vulture. There's always ships abandoned there and you can scrape them as well as getting money from the mission
They give us stars for doing that thing about abandoned player ships?
@carlosespinal1434 yeah that's why I said too take out the com array for that planet. You don't get any crime stat when you take out player ships or scrap them 😀

When Im trying to sell the salvage from my Vulture it says that it canot be selled. Can sombody help me?
I clicked on the video I want to know how uses it next time star citizen decides to let me try again I might know how uses it on the game. If when I get one, I know uses it. I loved mining w the Roc and the Prospector before they did that rest took everyone's stuff because of the insurance addition to the game. It took me a very long time in the game to buy those vehicles in game.

Can these panels be collected with a multi tool? It seems like a solid guide but i guess most of us haven't pledged for a vulture so would be great to have a real starting guide
yeah there’s another starter guide coming tomorrow so stay tuned! but the vulture o actually bought with auec, it’s possible to mine with your tool though too yeah!
You should be able to rent a free vulture for defense con still. I rented one yesterday and have already made 3 mil with it.

I rented a Vulture to try out salvaging, but I keep encountering a bug where my SCU boxes won't snap to the cargo grid-there are no blue snapping guides for the boxes. This issue seems to occur most often after I've stored my Vulture at a hangar to sell my RMC, then returned to the ASOP terminal to retrieve the ship, hoping to print the remaining RMC boxes after emptying the first batch. I'm not sure if storing and retrieving the ship disables the cargo snapping. Is it possible to sell RMC without storing the ship? Maybe if I keep it in the hangar where I landed, the snapping will still be enabled when I return to print my remaining RMC from the ship's reserves. Alternatively, if snapping is disabled, do you know if the RMC boxes still sell when they are not snapped to the cargo grid? Have you experienced something like this?
this has happened to me a lot! i can’t remember if it’s this video or not but it happens in one of them! at this moment it is a big and i think the only fix is your ship being claimed or destroyed :/ but yeah sorry that happens
@@kabutopz haha aww, okay. Have you tried selling RMC boxes when snapping is bugged? I wonder if I could just loosely pile them. Kind of like that asile next to the cargo grid where people loosely stack additional boxes.
@@trebilicious yeah it sells still! i consistently pile them to the left it’s an extra like 8 squares of storage!

if you store the ship like you described and take it out for another tour your storage is already occupied because of the duping bug.

How do you clear the storage then? You dont store the ship and just sell?
@@waiNN__ its a bug. you could just sell your stuff or reclaim your ship. if you want to avoid this bug just dont store your ship.

@@waiNN__ i see it more like a bug. people store their ships and want to move on after the bug happens. so its either you reclaiming your ship wasting plenty of time or selling your cargo again. sometimes your ship also will auto store.. theres not much you can do about it without wasting a lot of time.
Great videos Salvaging is fun, but scanning is terrible right now. I am rarely able to locate the panels once I get close. But that being said I would love to have a Vulture in my Hanger. Cosmic_Cowboy
max is 39 per run so far, but 38 is more consistent

Next to the pilot seat is a glass door you can open
easiest way to locate it is to go to the left side ladder on the ship outside!
