As usual great analysis by Eric. 100% Agreed, Larson is kind of an unknown here in 2021. CGR equipment is decent , but Larson made it look much better than it ever really was. He really did " get the most out of his cars" and pushed the limits. Now with Hendrick equipment , he could potentially be a super nova in this sport and have a multiple win season if this kind of speed is any indicator . Lets see how good or great he can really be, keeping in mind consistancy is key. Frankly he blew my expectations out of the water winning this early . I didnt doubt his ability , rather i kind of doubted Hendrick as a whole and their ability to keep things 100 over a full season.
I felt like Elliott gave up any chance of winning when Gustafson held him on pit road to fix superficial damage to the right side. He had just had a close battle with Keselowski for the stage win. It was obviously not hurting the speed. That seemed like a stupid move to give up all that track position for something that didn't appear to be hurting the car. His late spin was probably a result of being back in traffic and overdriving the car to overcome that loss of track position. It looked like a car that was definitely top 5, and may have competed for the win if not for that extended pit stop. Thoughts?
I gotta tell you. I was a big dale jr fan and after he left I didn’t really watch nascar or pay attention to it. But after Larson lost his ride I told myself when or if he is to get another chance he is gonna be my new favorite driver. I haven’t been excited watching a race since 2005 when Carl Edwards won his first race and that was amazing racing back then!.. The lead changes in this race was incredible.. it kept me watching through and through!.. Congratulations to Kyle Larson!!
I never really expected Chase to start off winning this season tbh. History tends to show that he gets sets fire later in the year towards the middle of the summer.

So many people are saying that Elliott is having a Championship Hangover.
Thoughts?
As a Jones fan, I was ecstatic. A top 10 in RPM equipment. If we can get more runs like this, we could compete for top 15’s consistently
I gotta tell you. I was a big dale jr fan and after he left I didn’t really watch nascar or pay attention to it. But after Larson lost his ride I told myself when or if he is to get another chance he is gonna be my new favorite driver. Then he went to Hendricks and I was real real happy with that.then after 4 races has already won one. I’m happy as hell for him. He’s a Fanta driver. Gotta tell you so far all the races have been real good. Can’t wait to dirt Bristol!! #5=#1!!
I am worried as a SHR fan but next couple weeks are Harvicks best track so we will see
The eyes of the nation on Bubba: 👀
My Canadian eyes: 🙈
i couldnt wait for your vid. Good stuff like always!
nice pfp
This was most definitely a 10 out of 10 race for me. The race was exciting, and always seem to take a natural course. No manufactured drama or NASCAR tower shenanigans. This was the closest thing to a real race that we've seen this season.
I would put Elliott as class of the field as well, he had a great car but had bad luck
Also Elliott would have won the Daytona Road Course if that “rain caution” didn’t come out
@@RacingGuy2448 yep. As it stands Larson and Elliott are really strong with the rest of He Hendrick Penske and Gibbs begins them
SHR looks awful as it stands
The race was great congrats Larson!
The man is a flat-out badass behind the wheel, he will change the sport
Good for larson
Kyle Larson wins at least 5 more races this season
He was so much better than everyone else
He even does burnouts better than anyone else
Or Bubba Wallace isn’t as good as people are hyping him up to be? No one wants to say it by I will.
More like Hendrick is back. As a Hendrick fan I am so happy. It's been a hell of rough years for awhile with Joe Gibbs dominating everything and Stewart Haas. Now we can officially say Hendrick's is back just like the good old days with Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson.
Eric..pls dont private the streams man....I wasnt able to show up to the stream but I tried watching it after and it was private lol. Anyways, thanks for another great video!
I'd there is a reason for privating the streams,I understand. Maybe you could reply to this comment if there is a reason.
@Matthew Sgabellone that makes sense...but every stream tho..u can private ones that are specific to the day, or private them like a day after but literally seconds after the stream is over? Nah
Agree with your 80% groovy rating. Really dig Kyle’s win!
I really feel like this whole race was a huge improvement!.. This package is what NASCAR should be. Exciting racing with side by side racing!.. I really do hope this is what we will see more of in the future to come?.. That’s what NASCAR is lacking!.. I haven’t been excited watching a race since 2005 when Carl Edwards won his first race and that was amazing racing back then!.. The lead changes in this race was incredible.. it kept me watching through and through!.. Congratulations to Kyle Larson!!
Eric......I love myself to but why do you have a printed out picture of me in the background
It was a great race.. I enjoyed ever bit.. I'm a bug Larson fan and I'm glad he won the race..
Dodge needs to get back in nascar
Bubba is 20th in points Eric, that’s above his norm and punching well above his weight at the present moment.
I never really expected Chase to start off winning this season tbh. History tends to show that he gets sets fire later in the year towards the middle of the summer.
Eric try to sponsor like the rear bumper or something of a nascar, hendrick???? I know this wont happen but it would be cool
Denny has a 38 point lead after 4 races, love the sound of that :)
Yes I do
DennyDelivers Idk about you but I’d rather see a consistent 1 win season at Phoenix (plus championship) than another 8 win season ending in disappointment
I mean maybe... But with this point system winning titles are really the same... Championship is just one race now
But if he runs like is now in the chase, that’ll easily boost him to the championship especially if he wins more stages and the regular season standings
So many people are saying that Elliott is having a Championship Hangover. I disagree heavily because most things that happened weren’t entirely his fault, but even if they were his fault he still had overcome his mistakes and have gotten top 15s out of 3 of the first 4 races. He even as shown to still be quite competitive in those races
Eric, why is there just a wheel next to the sky Cooper cane?
Great video Eric.
I think Dale Jr won the dual race or the clash when he first joined Hendrick does that count or not since it wasn't a no points race.
It was the clash. I think he won the duel too. But definitely the clash
