#TheWho
I swear Roger twats this clean out the park! ❤❤ his vocals and melody are on fire. Arguably the best front man ever and no doubt the best rock band of more than one generation.
Roger sounding good. Well done. Zack Starky killing it on the drums too. Pete still hopping around at his age. They still got it.
Folks use to say these guys where great........still now and forever !👍hi from Amsterdam
Actually reckon Zack carried this... truly.
Sure do.
Just saw them on Oct. 24th in San Jose, both of these dudes are almost 80 and still rocking out so hard. It was the best concert of my life
Not underrated at all, it was a staple on MTV and was a huge hit. I think because it was one of their later songs and it sort of got lost when people talk about classic songs by The Who, most people tend to think of their stuff from the 60s and 70s.
Roger can still belt out a song. The Ox and Keith Moon sadly missed. They were half the DNA of The Who's special sound.
Kenney Jones was on drums for the Faces Dances album
@@averageotaku1993 RIP KJ too. Damned, we're old.
@@petefiedler8805 Kenney Jones is very much still alive.
@@harrypainter7472 Thank you because reading he had died was news to me.
@@petefiedler8805 Speak for yer self!!! lol
I love how well Roger's voice has held up so well over the years. Different and clearly aged sure, but still on pitch and with all the same energy.
Wow!!! Can he still sing. Admirable, and his (their) work with teenage cancer patients. Watch kids, stay away from drugs and alcohol you to can still perform at their age. 👌
Pete does watch kids.
The intro is absolute musical bliss. These guys are legends
The Jam, The Who, Elton John even, all knew the importance of an intro build up. Simply old school brilliance
Roger Daltrey is amazing....
Superb solid drumming from Zak Starkey.....
And a fine performance from The Who.....total legends.....
Sounds remarable good. Normally with bands who´s got their best behind them, it sounds tired and uninspired. This sounds as good as they ever been.Respect.
I don't know, Roger sounds pretty damn good for 71
cschoen100 saw him live April 2016 he stills hits some really high notes especially on reign o'er me.
Vocally he has more than still got it. But sadly he's a bit slow now.
He is using playback for some of the hard bits, like the screams in Love Reign and Won't Get Fooled, but having said that, most singers can't sing as well as he still can, and his voice is sounding better now than it has since the 90's.
ThomasWilliamsMusic No Roger Daltrey does not use any playback or backing tracks at all . He's old school and he said he'd never do that ! He takes care of himself & does a lot of vocal training . No one can sing like him even now !! He's awesome still ! I Love The Who!!
I love them too, but take a listen to the "Quadrophenia live" or "Live in Hyde Park" albums, and he's using playback.
He IS singing along with it as well, so you can hear both his recorded voice and his live voice, but he needs the recording to beef it up because those notes are tough, and he's a little shaky. You can make up your own mind by watching those shows, they're both on DVD too (I don't want to sound patronising, I'm sure you know that).
Not to take away from Roger, he's still a great singer, but it's a fact.
Pete and Roger just dont fkkn stop, they sounds so damn good here. Thank you guys for so much GREAT music!!!!
Damn Pete and Roger still deliver... no matter what anyone says, this is the real thing...
Pino Palladino on bass, Simon Townshend on rythm guitar and Zack Starkey on drums...
The Who
The Legends
Forever in my mind
Yeah.... Pino, Simon and Zak made this possible, Pete landed it. Never thought Roger would be left slightly stranded here... but who expected Ox to leave, then and when ?
15 years old, i was there. first time i had see the who, an unforgettabe experience.
14 years old, I was there. First time I had seen the who, an unforgettable experience. :D Johnny Marr's cover of I fought the law was bloody brilliant, am I right?
yes you are..
I am so damn jealous. So jealous! But, good for you mate. Must've been one hell of a show.
Sea Jays shame Keith Moon wasnt alive but zaks quite good on drums
@@dylanbowles4758 No.
Roger sounds amazing still! Over 70 and still sings just as good
I can't believe this is LIVE, it's so GOOD
THANK YOU "The Who BAND & Pete Townsend." 😘😊😊😘😘😘 LOVE YOU & GOD BLESS!😘😘😊😊
i Was There! best concert ever!
One of the best rock bands ever
Was never a big fan of the Who, but the song and Performance are: Pure Magic !!
try to see them live in concert ... WOW it will blow you away !
Watch the video of “the real me” at the Royal Albert Hall. That will change your mind.
These guys are still amazing -------- love all the nostalgic visuals adorning the stage -------- brings a tear!
I love this song. My 1981 roller skating song.
Thanks the Who ...you guys were part of my childhood and I just loved listening to your songs
Roger said in an interview this is his favourite song to sing
chills still, even through a computer screen and at their age, missing half of them.
Still sound amazing! So tight and timing is spot on! Just wow!
The Who are one of the best bands ever! So glad I got to see them, Paul weller played some Jam tunes before the Who came on, also a plus, great night, thanks for the upload.
LOVE IT! Just amazing songwriting, and also always such passion from Roger Daltry!
If my math is correct Pete Townshend is 70 years young here. Still jumping around onstage like an aerobic S instructor. The best song The Who released during the Kenney Jones era1979 to 1982. So much better than the song from Its Hard that who fans love so much Eminence Front. Roger is 71 here I would love to know his workout or keep fit regimen. Zack Starkey has been with The Who longer than Keith moon and Kenney Jones combined. Moon 1964-78,and Kenney 1979 to 1982 plus Live Aid 1985. I still miss The Ox John Entwhistle terribly!!!!!Peter Dennis Blanford Townshend. A man for all generations!!!
Makes you proud to love Rock n Roll!
I Road Eid for them in Philadelphia Rodger was absolutely fantastic
This shows what a band really means.
I so wish....
Wonderful song and performance. ❤❤❤❤❤
I remember this well...... Born in 89 I didn't have a great deal of opportunities to prove my "who addiction" but this song, this time.... Was special. Roger, I love you, Pete I admire you and..... To "the moon" Keith, I miss you! (Zak you were fantastic)💙 it was a privilege to be here! Thank you
Saw them in Frankfurt while stationed in the army, April 1 1980... most powerful band ever!!!
WHY AM I CRYING SO LOUD? This performance is just awesome.
Fantastic and stunning, love my Who , then and now!!!
The Who
The Legends
Forever in my mind
Got to see these geniuses live a few years back at Fenway Park (Boston, MA). Unbelievable show. Exceeded my expectations immensely.
I saw them at the o2 in 2013. Blew my mind as a kid and still do. No one is better live. The theme tune to my youth
Wow...that felt good. Thanks Pete, for EVERYTHING!
I love this band so much, no one else like them.
Still excellent 👍
It's just comming up to midnight . I really should be heading for my bed. Out of the corner of my eye I spotted 'You better, You bet! How could I resist. Never got to see them live but as I recall a 17 year old heairng this for the first time. Trying to explain the value of this to my hopeful band members was futile. I new I'd heard the future. Something beyond. I was there! in the moment. So vivid, so strong, so alive. And here i am re-living every moment in every sinue. I realize how lucky I was to be so young and so privileged to have such moments. Thanks lads. You are truley great!
Best rock band ever.
First heard them in 1965
Absolutely tootly, F-in a right!!
My first vinyl was The Who Live at Leeds, still got it!! I have seen them a dozen or so times, never miss them when they come around!! Love- Love this band!!
Really great. Legends. Not better than Zeppelin though. I actually do prefer them to the Stones or Floyd or even the Beatles but they're not better than LZ. They're just not
I was at this show. They always deliver. Love em.
So many years but it sound like the first time
..... "I don't mind how much you love me, a little is alright".... a real love song.
i used to deliver newspapers in the early 80's and listen to this song. Time machine please
Best group on the planet.
No there not yet I respect the who.
I think I've finally understood this song after 30-odd years...it's a nostalgia trip, an old rocker in search of his lost youth. So appropriate...
That's not what this song is about. It's clearly about a relationship.
Damn look at these guys up there still rocking and sounding awesome!
this whole show is impressive but the drums are another level
They still sounds good and look good (especially Roger)
Best band.insurmountable
It was a bucket list dream come true when I got to see the Who live. Love you guys
Son como el vino. Cada día que pasa suenan mejor.
Exacto 👌
Wow! That’s impressively good for their age! Love them!
i wish they could come to new Zealand that would be amazing
Amazing to see these guys together again - so many years - and that is what makes it really meaningful. So nice to have this here.
Just awesome! We will still be singing this 50 years from now.
They sound amazing.
Very subdued crowd!!! It's the who FFS
The boys still have it!!!!
Love this group.
We were there, truly unforgettable, beautiful sunny day, the beer was a rip off though😂
Todavia son la mejor banda en vivo de la Historia! me da todo pirī (escalofrios) al escuchar a Roger y ver tocar a Pete.
My God a good example of aging but not getting old
Saw these guys in 99 and they still rocked ..and they still do
I love alBeatles..i love Stones..and all the other swingin' London, but the WHO ARE THE ONLY WHO GIVE A SOUND TRACK TO MY LIFE

Never miss them on tour.
Love these two old warriors!
Que maravilhoso assistir a isso! São lendas vivas! Imagino a emoção de quem estava nesse show... Épico!
Best rock band ever.
Those lucky Brits to have these guys right in their backyard.
One of the most underrated Who songs.
Yes, but an inflexion point.... and here we all are.
@@mattmcdonald6202 Yes, it's just weird the (comparatively) low numbers of views for a great song. Maybe The Who have written *so many* great songs it gets lost in the brilliance lol
Along with Athena.
Total agree with you!
one of the most underrated pops songs..
Zack is killer on the drums !
Fantastic.
Merecem todas as reverências do Rock mundial!!!!
Deuses!!!
Feras muito top o som deles
My favourite who tune!

Kick ass! Still loving The Who in 2022!!
