I don’t care what Decade they’re in, The WHO are always Great!!!!!
" I Woke Up In A Soho Doorway, A Policeman Knew My Name. He Said, You Can Go Sleep At Home Tonight, If you can get up and walk away" My favorite opening line ever
We've all lived that in our own way, I think.
@@sobreriesgos Ironically, one person that it wouldn't happen to is the guy that's singing it!
@@sobreriesgos yep, know I have, ha
THat's a LOT of story to pack into one sentence!
It sounds real, I can see it in real life!
And they performed it in the original key, absolute madlads
damn grandpas... how the hell are they still so good
JohnnyPhate Rock and roll keeps you young :)
I was a teenager when this song debuted in the 1970s. I'm 62 now... Time sure does fly. And I still love this song! 😊
I second that opinion Sir!!
@@georgedavis2293 I third that too.
That#s my favorite Who song
Pete Townshend has hearing loss, and still plays far better than most guitarists.
townshend...one of the greatest guitarists and songwriters in rock history....i saw The Who....I was amazed.
ROGER DALTREY!
Greatest rock singer ever!
Eh... Even though I LOVE Roger, and The Who, i wouldn't call him the greatest in history, vocally, that is. I don't know if anyone can top Paul Rodgers for his longevity and insane vocals.
And Mike Patton... Probably the most gifted vocalist in rock history.
But I do agree there was no front man like Roger! His energy, and his vocals, are awesome.
the Who are one of the greatest bands forever....!
Just imagine if John and Keith were still around, this would of been even more lit 🔥
Roger and Pete in their 70's. Can't believe Roger can still belt it out like that!
Roger?? Are you talking about Pink Floyd, or The Who???
Zak's drums are miked perfectly. Such great depth of sound to them.
100%! perfect live mix
Moon's number one student.
I mean there good but not as good as keiths
@@Jakegriffin2006Dude... Nobody is Keith. He was the best. But Zak is the best drummer they've had since Keith, and he nails it. Dude is a seriously talented drummer. As I've never seen anyone cover Keith and sound just like Keith. That's impossible because the cat was just a wild man. Zak though... Mad props.
He uses Roland triggers, as do most stadium band drummers
When I was a kid and they played this song on the radio......we all would sing along.....and then get real quiet when he started dropping f bombs. Cause mom was with us. 😂❤
Never underestimate old timers, I am one myself, we are so cool!
What can one say about The 'oo?! Fantastic band. RIP John Entwistle and Keith Moon
So much energy still ! really glad they´re doing this ! Roger Daltrey looks so great and beautiful
Yes Godbless him
Daniela Almeida I love The Who yes Rog still got it
one of the best singers of the 60's-70's era
Yes Roger
robert plants little brother lol
FREDDIE MERCURY
@@RobloxRandomMadness Plant is Roger's little brother in every sense
@@loosilu couldnt have put it any better. I like plant but i LOVE daltrey. Roger = legend.
God I love this song ... best 70's rock song eva ...
WOW!! The great bands, like the WHO from the 70's can still fill the stadiums to standing room only TO THIS DAY!!
But especially, they seem to have stopped time in the 1970's with their playing. Just amazing!
Best band everrrr
Just Amazing! Sirs John, Roger, Keith and peter, They gave us so much! Glory to them!!!!
these boys played at Woodstock AND Isle of Wight a year later.
fucking legends or what.
Roger and Pete thanks fellas.
I love you Roger Daltrey!!!!
2017 São Paulo/ Brasil wowwwwwwwwww
I love this song band so much. :)
How the Fuck can this have under a thousand Thumbs Up. I mean for Fucks sake.. They only have half their band NOT because they broke up because they're Dead.
They still sound Fucking Amazing !!
Amazing!
I was eleven years old at the release of this song, when you hear it, it makes me go back there
Glastonbury must be the greatest music festival on earth.
Haven't been there yet because it's kinda far from California.
My bad, maybe I'll get there eventually. The various videos from
there such as this are totally awesome, thanks for these.
James Kendall Its definitely something i recommend everyone does at least once in their life
weather sucks!!!
Generation X is looking confused .... probably expecting CSI to start now .... Pete and Roger are killing it
Glad to have been there watching
i was there!!!!!!!! going tomorrow and i can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wonderfull
gruppo rock meraviglioso
No group like this anymore
This is awesome. Out of all the classic rock stars tho, Jagger is the only one who doesn't have that old man dinosaur movement.
Jaggars dancing is pure cringe
amazing drumming~!!
Zak is some drummer !!!
I think he does a great job of trying to fill Keith Moon's impossible shoes. Zak seems to have come into his own when we were not watching. Fully upholds his Dad's standards, and then some.
@@TheGreatToucan zak was also taught drums by the great “uncle” Keith moon.
I woke up in a Soho doorway
A policeman knew my name
He said, "You can go sleep at home tonight
If you can get up and walk away."
I staggered back to the underground
And the breeze blew back my hair
I remember throwing punches around
And preaching from my chair.
Wow! Still a fan of this band.
Happy Birthday Roger!!!
Drummer is killer! I think Keith would be proud
Wundervoll
So much energy still ! really glad they´re doing this ! Roger Daltrey looks so great and beautiful
Roger and Pete thanks fellas.
I love that guitar Pete is playing vim trying to decipher what make it is
It's a Fender Stratocaster with Lace Sensor pickups I believe. Although Pete might have had it modified over the years.
With acoustic pickup under the bridge.
Pete Townshed's Touring guitars are mostly ''Fender's Eric Clapton Signature Series'' Stratocasters, with a Pre-Amp setup behind the bridge for the ''Acoustical'' sound in a lot of their songs........ Pete said that in an interview a few years back...
la musica que hace THE WHO siempre va a quedar pasmada en nuestros corazones
Whooooooooooooo!!
BEEN TO THE CONCERTS IN CHICAGO THRU MY LIMO SERVICE... UNREAL..
The drummer sits behind a wall to protect himself from the guitarist
Pete's tone !!!!!
They...are having fun!
Dude wtf no seriously I have never heard a rhythm section this fucking thick !!!!this unfucking believable
Remember *CSI-- Las Vegas* 🤗 ouvindo em Dez d 2.019 Brasil, "Who are you" ♡👱
Impressive.
Ils emmènent la force. ce sont des maîtres. Ils sont très forts. Il faut s'en inspirer.
Cool video who are you
I've always wondered what it would have happened if Jimi Hendrix had lived, his careerand such. At least we know the outcome of Pete Townshend and the Who's career...great longevity and success... although this song is probably the Who's last greatest song.
at the release of this song I was eleven years old.
I'm respect the who!!!!!!!
nice
I fucken love The Who.
Peteeeeeeeeee
la cancion de quien eres tu con el grupo el quien super druper
Just the fact that Townsend blew his ears out playing heavy rock! Not the best guItarist of all time, but maybe one that put the most heart and soul into it!
Wonder how far up the PA slider is Roger's guitar?
Good question! I don't think I've EVER heard him, even in the pre-Simon days. So why does he play guitar instead of just concentrating on being the front man? I can only presume that he hears himself clearly via the monitors, but never listens to recordings.
CSI Theme
Incredible, but still not the same without the genius fills of Moony.

Ive growm up with oasis but fukkin hell these giys blow oasis out the water 2nd to none the bedt band in rock n roll history
Fucking really rock star ❤️❤️
I'll say it because nobody-else will :
Old Guitarists don't fade - they just snap like a string. Malcolm, The-Ox, Angus - not yet.
But old vocalists - they fade like my mothers-driving: like Brian Johnson.
This is so-sad, but I watched a video of [all things!] of the lady who did the Original ''Road-Runner' tune, ""Poor little road-runner, never bothered anyone!"" -
At old-age she had no-timing, No- pace, No Vocal-strength -
Again: Shirley-Bassey : same thing - Old, she no-longer gets-it.
Vocalists fade.
Wonder what the attendance was at this concert. Looks around 100,00.
Cooler than dry ice and down like four flat tires with a spare with out air
Who are you , Who Who Who Who . I' m an owl
Who are you ouh ouh ouh.ouh who gare ouh ouh ouh
What do they say form is temporary class is permanent ...............

#TandJInLONDON
Is that PT’s brother on lead ??
Yes
Tom And Jerry:The Movie In London,England
Why do they put Zak behind plexiglass?
It's an acoustic shield, to avoid the drums spilling into roger and pete's mics :)
Also Pete needs it to be as quiet as possible on stage cause of his hearing issues
Pete's brother to the right @29secs...?
Thats pino palladino, considered one of the best bassists ever!
Aaaaaaaaaaaahhh, who the fuck are you!!°
Atze Schröder!
rog was ill when they did this gig, he hid behind his guitar the whole time
found out later he had meningitis didn't he
Why the Drummer is behind the Glass
Team Pyroball to stop the drum sound spilling into the mics of Pete/roger and the rest of the band.
To protect Zak from Pete when he really gets wound up! 😆
Why is he asking who you are when he knows you're a policeman, or is he after the officers name specifically?
This story is about a drunk guy who encounters a policeman who tells him you can go home if you get up and walk away. This man then walks down to the tube station and either on the train or while waiting for one, he starts asking people “who are you” mainly because of his drunkenness.
@@drwhogamer1650 Apparenlty the guy was Pete himself!
what I find so distracting are those huge banners.
Good but shame about the drum pattern only one mr moon
If Pete Townshend practise playing the guitar, he will be perhaps a successful guitar player. But he must practise😁
gandolin66 Oh ok , one of the best guitar players of all time needs to practice because gandolin66 said..
@@HenriqueOS46 because you do not understand a joke.
