I know bees are crafty and clever, but today I saw two flying in and out of a small crack in my wooden split rail fence rail. Doesn't even look wide enough for them, but they got it. Seems to be a new nest because I've never seen that before and it's only about two or three bees I've seen. Thankfully, I watch your videos and know just what to do: call a professional like yourself! Your videos are not only entertaining but educational, Mr. Ed. Good bless, good sir!
Another great video,, my wife seen a honney bee on a flower in the front yard last week so I guess spring has finally came to Alaska, God bless you and your bees.
Love & deep gratitude to you Jeff, Wreck-It Ralph, and all the bee people who are saving & caring for our precious pollinators! May God bless you and the bees!
It was nice that you gave Yappy a shout out since he's the one who helped you locate the queen. I heard you had to get him on a video call so he could tell you where to look and then when Ralph spotted her she jumped out landing on your chest in attack mode. I'm glad you're OK brother.
Hey hello Mr. Ed. A treat to start the weekend - your video. You cheered up a grimly rainy day in Paris. I'm pleased you found that beautiful queen. Pleased to see Ralph too. Did I see a mouse go scampering off back into the roof along the joist at 2:09? Do bees and mice make good neighbours? God's blessings to you and yours.
Wreck it Ralph and White Dog behind the glass. That was a tough one, leaning backwards on that ladder I bet. Lots of comb in there for sure. You should put hinges and a clasp on that soffet so Ralph's job will be easier next year. lol Man, lots of folks have swarms all over the country - very cool. Thanks for posting up all the swarm pictures. It won't stop raining here - I need to be working on bee hives. lol Take care Mr. Ed!
Nice and easy, that did not look too difficult. Pretty big hive for 2 weeks....as I was watching I was waiting for the.... thank you Jesus......and a minute later...you puller her up and showed her to us.
Hi Jeff! I am excited to tell you that I just found out that my younger brother is a beekeeper in Tacoma Washington! I didn't know this until he called to tell me that he couldn't come to my boy's memorial service that we recently had. He told me he was getting three new hives delivered. It was ok though because he was by my side when my boy passed in December. That meant alot to me and my other two children to have him with us. I guess he's been doing it for a while. Now that I have been learning so much from your videos, I will be able to have a great conversation with him when I go home for a visit. Well, much love from Montana to you. Take care! :)
I loved seeing our brother in Christ ole Wreck it Ralph ! That was awesome hive ! As always my brother I loved the video if you keep making them I will keep watching! Good bless you Jeff !
Hello Amalia, I believe that most beekeepers only process old comb for wax. Usually, the only time new comb is taken out of a healthy hive, is for comb honey and it is lighter.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Jesus!!! You know how the saying " idle hands" goes but not in this case. Great job Jeff and Ralph. Keep up the good work guys. Beautiful bee catch and I'll bee watching. Thanks Jeff.
I recently did a soffit cutout. It had been there, according to the homeowner, several years and had cast many swarms. When we got into it had recently swarmed and there was no brood, a queen cell and lots of capped and uncapped nectar. Unfortunately my vacuuming technique was poor as I the bees were coated with honey and didn't recover. I need to figure out/learn how to vacuum without getting so much honey on the bees. Guess I need to watch more of you and Dirt Rooster doing cutouts.
Great video Jeff I have had bees checking out my swarm traps up here in West Virginia I am hopeful that I will at least catch one swarm this year I am new to all of this. And I finally got my 2 Nucs and installed them in there hives I sure do enjoy going out every day and watching them fly in and out of there hives. GODS piece my friend
I always say, finding and catching the queen is all a grace from God, so you are correct, it is a miracle. Thanks for watching. Stay safe, God's peace James. Mr. Ed
Hi Jeff, I caught my first swarm ever yesterday. Without all you guys on youtube sharing your knowledge I'd be like all the other people walking down the sidewalk and just walk around it or crossed the street to the other side to avoid the bees. Well, yesterday I walked amongst them with no fear with the knowledge I have gained from all you youtube posters. All I had was a 5-gallon bucket a painters pole and a cardboard box. I ended up going home with freebees get it freebie lol.... I sent a photo in but unfortunately I didn't get my face in the photo :( I was too worried about what was going on around me I forgot - I had to manage crowd control as well to keep people safe lol. I can't wait for tomorrows video Jeff..... Keep em coming! JP IN DE
Beautiful job! 👍 Funnily enough when you were cutting out I was looking at the brood comb and thinking they were in a second brood cycle so must have been there 5-6 weeks and then you said it yourself 😁 Reminded me of a chimney cut out earlier this year, she said 'they only arrived last year' they'd been there at least three years going by the comb! 🙄😆 Good work guys, keep em coming 🙂
Great video Mr Ed. Ernie from Manchester ky in the swarm pics is only 15 or 20 mins from me. That was cool to see someone from my neck of the woods on your channel keep up the good work and take care of wreck it Ralph
The rooster got a free plug from the one swarm pic submitter's hat. Keep up the great work. I caught my first swarm this week here in Pennsylvania. It's been cold and wet so far this spring. :(
YAAY RALPH and Mr. Ed! I had to give buddy Ralph top billing since he'd been gone so much. Yall make a FINE team and that was a PILE of bees! Ralph will enjoy them I bet. And I hope yall gave that silly doggie a good scratching before you took off. It was sure watching you. Maybe it was wanting some honey, you reckon? So, THANKS and have a Jesus weekend and GBWYall AND Mom!
Jeff you were being upstaged by that cute dog in the patio window. I always feel better after seeing one of your videos. Wreck it Ralph is great too. God bless you my Bee Buddy.
Mr Ed you are the bee whisperer. I bought a nuc in early March and they immediately swarmed. I caught the swarm and moved them to my hive as well( I have a 40 frame bench hive that will hold 2 colonies. But they aren't building much of any honey stores. They are going great guns with the brood but not setting much of any honey even on the brood frames and no honey frames at all. Should I feed the fool out of them or what? I don't want them to go into summer dearth empty.
Jeff I alway enjoy watching your videos you inspired me to do removal/cut out and now I start my own UA-cam channel as well good work you doing here man👍.
The hive isant bothering anyone. I wish people would allow the bees to stay in place and continue to thrive. You did a nice cheerful job of removing the hive. Poor Bees 😌🐝
GR. Hollman I get ya bud I’ve seen Jeff keep the hives from logs as natural as can be, these bees will become a nuisance and it’s better for someone as good as Mr Ed to give them a better home.
Maybe next time brother Jeff removes about 80,000 bees he'll bring to your place and turn'em loose...in your living room. Wouldn't bother none of us, shouldn't bother you either....just let bees, be bees....ain't hurting nothing.
@ Mark, Sounds good to me I have hives and just mixed up a batch of pollen patties because it keeps raining. I like this person and his channel. If they aren't bothering you leave them bee. 😌
@@mark-wn5ek exactly, I'm sick of these type of comments. Try to sell your home with bees in your walls, FIRE HAZARD, structural damage..there's so much.
Love your vids we don't have many bees in my area. I built my own top bar and a few boxes for swarm traps but because of the low bees in my area iv have not bin able to get a swarm im gonna try to find some land were i can put boxes this year. This is my third year trying last year I had a lot of bees just from open feeding from a chicken feeder but could not get a swarm to come my way. So I think im jest out of reach. And I dont see any bees this year coming to my feeder.
Where are you this week Jeff. I pray all is OK and you are just enjoying yourself too much to getting around to posting this weeks video. :) God Bless…….
Hi Jeff how are you? I have a question in relation to the crazy weather affecting established colonies. Last year during your Fall/Autumn season was the weather warmer than usual and did this have affect your bees? Did the hive decide to make new queen cells when it wasn't the right time to do so? This is what has been happening to some beekeepers in my local area of Victoria, Australia. Some beekeepers were able to remove the queen cells before they developed and then there were others who didn't remove them,. What do you reckon could happen to those hives that already have a laying queen as well as the possibility of new queen/s emerging?
I can't be in no swarms I'm disabled. lol But Awesome show⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. I really enjoy watching your show Mr. Ed. I wonder if you sale any honey. I would order from you. I really like your personality and positive energy. Keep up the good work. 👏👍😊❤🐝🚶♂️🐈🐈
I have a question, In colder climates do you think using 2 inch wood to make boxes could be beneficial? They seem to survive just fine in trees over the winters here. Where it can drop to -30 C with a nasty windchill. So we are contemplating our options. Everyone around here is so competitive they aren't reliable. So I thought I'd run the idea by you. We think it would be extra insulation for them. Hope all is well. :)

Friday and time for a MR ED POSITIVE ATTITUDE bee wrangling. Always a high spot in my week. Thanks
That queen and her busy busy bees are keepers!!! Beautiful nest and comb. God bless you & your dedication.
Wow nice hive’s
Another great video,, my wife seen a honney bee on a flower in the front yard last week so I guess spring has finally came to Alaska, God bless you and your bees.
Mr Ed, you are probably the happiest most positive person on UA-cam! Thanks, found my self smiling all the way through
Love it.....you keep those shout outs coming and I will keep putting bees in that space. Big love back at ya buddy. That was a great looking hive.
You’re such a positive inspiration... thanks for all you do Mr Ed! You’re the best!
Hey Ralph!! You were missed!! Jeff Thank you for the post. I appreciate the gift of your time. 💝💝💝 bee well 🐝
Jeff, I love your enthusiasm every time you find the queen. You're like a new beekeeper finding a queen for the first time. Keep on keepin on!
Love & deep gratitude to you Jeff, Wreck-It Ralph, and all the bee people who are saving & caring for our precious pollinators! May God bless you and the bees!

It's all I can do these days to help the old guy out. It's hot down there and bees everywhere, what else could I do.
Hey hello Mr. Ed. A treat to start the weekend - your video. You cheered up a grimly rainy day in Paris. I'm pleased you found that beautiful queen. Pleased to see Ralph too. Lucky find there with the Queen on the ground :) that looked a very busy hive ! Cool wrangle Mr Ed.
That's a lot of comb for two weeks. It's good to see you still on the job, going strong.
Jeff, somehow you have muscled yourself into one the top three beekeepers I watch for edutainment. May God continue to bless you and yours.
Oh my goodness.......that was some beautiful pieces of honeycomb!!!!!
It’s a wonderful thing you do to save the bees. I really look forward to watching your videos. Thank you Jeff
Nice and easy, that did not look too difficult. Pretty big hive for 2 weeks....as I was watching I was waiting for the.... thank you Jesus......and a minute later...you puller her up and showed her to us.
Thanks Jeff . If you keep posting I will keep watching .
When a swarm becomes a cutout..... I love the cutouts anyway you are always so careful with the bees and comb!
My goodness! That queen looks huge. She's obviously an exceptional layer.

Wow...that was a nice one!..Wreck it Ralph has a nice colony now!...thanks Jeff...until next Friday...have a great week!
Just left the Baton Rouge/New Orleans area. Made eA drive by the Abbey just to look at that beautiful building. You get a great place to work.
I loved seeing our brother in Christ ole Wreck it Ralph ! That was awesome hive ! As always my brother I loved the video if you keep making them I will keep watching! Good bless you Jeff !
Jeff, that's some good looking comb! Thanks for the video!
I thought those combs were so nice and white. I wonder if they ever process lighter colors separately if the wax will be a lighter color as well.
Hello Amalia, I believe that most beekeepers only process old comb for wax. Usually, the only time new comb is taken out of a healthy hive, is for comb honey and it is lighter.

Is it just me or have you guys been around each other for so long that RALPH is starting to look like you. Lol . Awesome
Put a swarm box there Jeff. Maybe next year it would be a easier removal
I know it's quite randomly asking but does anyone know of a good site to watch newly released tv shows online?
@Nickolas Hank i watch on flixzone. Just search on google for it =)

That was a pretty good size colony for sure. Thanks for sharing.
Those houses just keep on giving, sweet!
Take care.
This man is the closest to a miracle that I have ever seen, how can he (almost) always catch the queen?!?
I always say, finding and catching the queen is all a grace from God, so you are correct, it is a miracle. Thanks for watching. Stay safe, God's peace James.
Mr. Ed
Great to see Ralph again!

Mr. Ed
Hey Mr. Ed and Reckin' Ralph! Good to see you guys. That dog in the window made me smile. Now THIS is why I'm afraid of bees!!!
Beautiful job! 👍
Funnily enough when you were cutting out I was looking at the brood comb and thinking they were in a second brood cycle so must have been there 5-6 weeks and then you said it yourself 😁

Everything ok, Mr. Ed? Missed you this past Friday...

That lab wanted to help but you forgot the dog's bee suit LOL
Love the videos, hope you have a nice life.

It’s better than someone spraying them with bug killer, that’s what seems to happen normally 😕 if not removed to a safer location

It looked like you and Ralph had another helper in the first shop. I guess you didn't have a bee suit for him.😉
