- Here's the best quality version of Body Crumbles that is available, copied directly from the Jewel Case CD. I know it's not HD, but I'm not sure what you expect from a music video made in the year 2002.

Early 2000s had best nu metal & alternative metal bands from back in the day and Dry Cell is one of them man this band is underrated and awesome ,

Yeah except the album they did with this singer was balls. Wasn’t Jeff’s fault, just the songs weren’t there imo. Such a watered down mediocre album

Bass line goes hard as fuck! Got my first 5 string and it’s the first song I’m learning. What a legendary song. Maybe not iconic in a cultural context, but it’s iconic to me!

In this song Jeff gutt sounds like a hybrid of Jonathan Davis from korn and Alex band from the calling.

@@insid0us Pelo que eu li, um famíliar dos integrantes ficava incomodando o pessoal da warner dizendo que a banda precisavam de mais publicidade e chegou em um ponto que a Warner desistiu da banda por causa desse tal parente. Isso pode ser falso tbm, nunca saberemos.

The singer, Scetster Stappington, used his final wish from a genie he acquired to distill 2001 into liquid form. He drank that and this song came out the next day.
What a sick song, recently discovered this treasure of a band, even though I'd heard Adema for some strange reason this one went under my radar, the last part really pump me up!

I was really thinking this band would take off. Never got to buy a cd cause i couldn't find it when i was a kid. But QotD soundtrack was pretty good at the time. Some of the songs i used to like make me cringe now, but i will never be ashamed for things I liked!

I don’t remember how many years ago it was, but my Father had a friend down here in Georgia who loved music and continues to produce named Gary. Anyway, long story short, he gave me this bands “Album Advance many moons ago when I was super into nu-metal in the early 2000’s, and promise me, I’d put Dry Cell’s “Disconnected” up against Linkin Park’s “Hybrid Theory” any day. I know they’re fighting words, but this CD was sooo good..!!!

That was Dry Cell. Just look up the credits for the soundtrack, or if you own a physical copy it clearly says, Dry Cell on the back.
I see many in the comments comparing Jeff Gutt to Chester Bennington. It goes even further back than most know. I got this info from another YT comment so not sure if it's 100% true. Anyway Dry Cell and Linkin Park were signed to the same label at the same time.Legend has it that LP were promoted more with a massive marketing budget and DC weren't. They chose LP over DC. Apparently some of the band members were pissed at this and made illegal copies of their album which they sold. And thus they became blacklisted in the indusrty. Jeff went his own way but it was tough with only small gigs. Then XFactor. Then a couple more bands before STP found him.
He wont be voted off this year. He is back and even better seriously his version of Creep was godlike hehe.

@umbergod It's also the same singer on both versions you have. Jeff Gutt. Dave Waiserski, (Dry Cell's other vocalist), doesn't have any released material with him on it, AFAIK. There's around 8 versions of this song: Music Video, QOTD Soundtrack, Impur Demo, Album version, Japan album import version, Advance version, Dry Cell sampler version, and the Madden version.

I don't know this song from the Queen of the Damned and honestly don't remember too much about that movie except how much I really didn't like it. However I do remember this song from the movie Grind and that really left an impression on me I will never forget!!!
@xund3r Don't think they officially have, but they haven't played a show in a long time now. They're tastes have changed as they've gotten older and Jeff is with BWNN as you mentioned. Judd and Brandon are more into hardcore/metalcore/deathcore now...It's sad really...

@J0nesGal I agree with you except for Screamo. That wasn't even a genre until like 6 years ago. Linkin Park had subtle Hardcore influences, more appropriately East Coast Hardcore such as Hatebreed and Suicidal Tendencies. Dry Cell though is not just rock, they have some programming and even some reggae drum beats. Those are both characteristics of Nu Metal which Dry Cell and Linkin Park are.
