Coffey's Cliff, what a great spot to watch from, lots of action. That background noise was crickets. I don't think in some areas that aren't as noisy as I had a relative visit and they sat on the back porch and was amazed at the sound.
Your visit to Debutts Yard in Chattanooga, Tennessee was productive railfanning day, Jaw Tooth! There was a lot of action going on in the north end of the yard at Coffey's Cliff. You caught a couple of Norfolk Southern going in and out of Debutts Yard. The rest of the Norfolk Southern action was yard work. The CSX light motive power move was a southbound movement while the CSX train that appears at 29:13 is a northbound train. (Posted 16 August 2024 at1318 CDT.)
I think that last train had the quietest DPU I almost didn't hear go by. To emphasize the lack of light, you could see Freddy flash reflecting off the bridge structures before it passed. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Another great live-action video.... Thanks as always Jaw Tooth for sharing your railfanning! I often wonder how the graffiti artists are able to paint the entire side of a car from top to bottom. Must have a lot of time and some ladders 😂. Keep up the live-action and be safe!
This is a great area of Chattanooga for watching trains at the big train yard with a lot of trains, cars, tankers, DPU'S, a nice bridge overpass as well as a really awesome view to watch them at and of course the amazing live action pets and the rocking music slide show Thanks Jaw Tooth.🚂🚃🇺🇲
Hey jaw tooth awesome train yard. Someone should build a hotel for railfans there. Sit there all day watching train action. Have a great railroad day. 🚂🙋♀️
We're at the giant tennessee rain yard and it's Norfolk Southern, CSX, Union Pacific station sight. Me and JawTooth see a long autorack manifest. Amazing rail catch!!
The most scenic bit in Chattanooga is the CSX line as it curls round Lookout Mountain, in and out of tunnel, and heads west over the Running Water trestle bridge then past Nickajack Lake. Also, the dual trestle across the Tennessee River in Bridgeport, Alabama. Well worth a visit!
Great catch into the setting sun. You are the master of friendly, kind commentary. I always feel like I’m with family with your videos. They are cathartic. I need to send money. Thanks Mr Tooth. You look very strong again. I was worried about you last winter. But a good diet, no bad habits, a loving family, and doing what you love has a great healing effect on the body. Thanks. 🌞🇺🇸🌝✔️
In Chattanooga there is a model train setup called Chattanooga Choo-choo. It has been decades since I last visited. However, if you're train lover it's worth a peek
Unfortunately since your visit the Choo-Choo has come under new ownership. They have made all kinds of changes. One of which is they ripped out the model railroad and have done a lot of other things that people can't stand. 😢
Busy day at the yard. Lots of great trains. Different containers on the intermodal. CSX moving right along and dropped the signal. But wait there’s more. Nice mixed manifest and beautiful sunset. Thank you JT. You always go the extra mile for us subscribers. ❤
Ahhh, I seen the Western Maryland fireball insignia on CSX 5327 when it rolled by at the 3:20 mark ... had to back up and watch it again. Great yard action, JT .. y'all got some great footage down there.
Another awesome video JT at coffees Cliff and that’s pretty cool that you could see lookout mountain from where y’all was at but anyway, my friend y’all stay safe out there and watch you back and we’ll see you on the next one
Hope your using sunscreen 🧴,can see the heat haze off the gravel, lol🌡️.you take care JT, sunstroke ain't funny, use a hat, drink lots of water 💦 throughout the day, drink a nice cup of green tea with a slice of lemon, that relieves heat stress on the first sip,man that train just never ends.. excellent, blessed b🙏👋🐨
Loved these videos from Tennessee! I’m about three hours south of Chattanooga in Alabama. My grandfather and my great uncles all retired from the L & N Railroad.
Geser & Osteo are graffiti artists JT, prolific ones at that. They have their own videos on YT! Their original name was Nasty Sons but changed it to the above a few months ago. Cool video JT, Great vantage point you had their loved the intermodel leaving the yard & going under the bridge. ❤😊👍
With all the political and social tug of warring that's going on in this country, sometimes I just like to come to this channel and watch trains. Railroads are America's arteries and veins. Thanks for all your beautiful content Brian Jaw Tooth.
Between Civil War history and the railroads, Chattanooga is a fun place! The Incline Railway is a fun ride to the top of Lookout Mtn also! Thanks for sharing, JT! I wish we could meet up for lunch on my birthday, Monday the 19th! I'm just 40 miles down I-75
Good ole Tennessee!!. Love watching yards work. On my lunch breaks I run down to a local yard and watch them shuffle around cars. My sons bday is the 27th of this month. Get a chance amd see this is name is dawson. Another banger of a video
Sounds great! I like watching them also. I will have a second video from here because we came back two days later. I will give him a birthday shoutout in a video and thanks for watching!
Coffeys Cliff the place to be where you let the action come to you. It almost has the sound of a old motel and coffee shop along an old US Highway in the 1940s. It was a great Vantage point to cover all those arrivals departures and yardmoves. Once again the gondola train follows you plus the Cameo visit by the CSX WM sticker Fireball as the sun set likewise. Add in the yard set winking like fireflies and hump yard action usually never ceases. Good old Brandy acting like the referee telling the two kids to take their rubber Figure 8 elsewhere. Live action both Trackside and with the dogs
Thank you for the video, JT. I like seeing the rail yard action occasionally. It sounds like it's a pretty large one! I just love seeing your pets, too. It's so good to see Brandi getting in on they play fight action. It almost seemed as if she was telling telling Loki he'd better not hurt Chessie or he'd have to deal with her! What a good dog! ❤❤ please tell them all I said hi. I pray you and yours have a splendid weekend and be safe out there. 😃😃😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is from my friend Judy Anderson, a retired farmer in Minnesota who you gave a shout too a while back. She sent it to me to give to you. She is a big fan of yours and I told her I would pass it along. So please give a shout out. Thanks!
Wow, that is a lot! That is the most I have ever got so I definitely will thank Judy! That will fill up the tank and have enough for the next trip. I will give her a shout out in a video also. Thanks Judy and I really appreciate it!
Looks like a cool place to watch trains if i lived there as a kid u bet me and my grandfather would be obsessed with watching trains there he lived in north Delaware and we would go to Marcus hook and tons of other places and watch trains i miss him

yard action at its finest. i'd love to visit that yard personally. set up a grill at the table and feast all day long while watching the action. i really like the mother-slug combos. its really cool how the NS repurposes old power that would other wise be scrapped.
@JawTooth Yes I did and the Southbound trains go through a tunnel on the way to Stevenson, and Bridgeport, AL. At Stevenson, NS has trackage rights to Chattanooga
Oh jaw tooth been filming on the rail road all the live long day.working hard at the rail yard with a dpu bonanza. All for us . An in this heat thank sun .hop your kids are ready for back to school🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃
@@JawTooth Hi, JT. I'm doing well. Thanks for asking. How are you doing? I've had some internet and TV issues myself for about 2 full days. I'm glad to hear your troubles only lasted a short while! Condider yourself fortunate, my friend. 😀😀😀
Not often you visit a rail yard! Nice shots JT! Any hump in that rail yard? As a kid we used to like watching the switchers build up a train using the hump in the local Allentown yard. Had a good overhead view much like your shots in this video. I like Brandi refereeing the kids play fight! My one year old chocolate Labrador plays with my 5 year old rough Collie in much the same way. The other Labs stay out of it!
Thank you Jaw Tooth for another outstanding video! When I begin traveling again, this is one place I'm heading for. That's an awesome yard, and I admit, one that was previously unknown to me. You're shots of the activity leaves little to be desired. Great job, my friend!! Chattanooga Choo Choo! We stayed here a few years ago and I just found this again. ua-cam.com/video/innRsMKnAEI/v-deo.html
those Cicadas are LOUD. Love your videos. TY.
Ain't it nice when the background of a train is more trains 😊
You got that right!
Coffey's Cliff, what a great spot to watch from, lots of action. That background noise was crickets. I don't think in some areas that aren't as noisy as I had a relative visit and they sat on the back porch and was amazed at the sound.

Great yard shots.
Liked the 'dog fight' at the end. That's me, standing there, barking at my fighting grandkids.
Welcome back to the South
Thanks it was a lot of fun but it sure got hot
All that action in that yard reminds me a lot of when Buckeye yard was sill going strong here in Columbus during the Conrail years and early NS.
Thanks for watching!
Great video of the Ex Southern yard, reminds me of watching trains at Toton yard here in England.
Thank you very much!

Unusual that you can get this close to a RR yard. Really neat! I can hear the fall cicadas in the background. They are really doing their noisy thing.

Great location! All it needs is a snack machine, a Coke machine and a bunch of patio furniture recliners.
That graffiti means someone has more time and money to vandalize train cars than common sense
A law that should be enforced
