I can't believe I had to scroll down this far to find a comment on his pose... pitties are the most consistent weirdos alive and I love em for it...omg I can recall being a teenager getting my first pittie and back then, in my state, the pittie group I belonged to had just 30 members and we were the only group...breeders then didn't puppy farm the way they do now...This was when they were at the bottom of public opinion, more so than now...
Cole upside-down snoozing away with all the activity going on around him is hilarious! He's a perfect sweetheart who brings joy to everyone with whom he interacts. What a blessing!
I too thought it hilarious seeing Cole snoozing away in bliss with his paws in the air during all the commotion. He is so darling and thanks to Chris for adopting him. They both are helping to change lives and perceptions. My kitty Frankie was deaf and he also learned my hand signals. Gone but never forgotten. From an animal rescuer in Los Angeles.
Cole is a GEM....He isn't Broken, in fact, He is a Fixer. He fixed me in 3 minutes. The rest of my day will be Joyful just seeing his adorable little face ❤️
Not only has the owner done the work to transform Cole's life, he's also with Cole helping people, young and old. One man and his dog are making a big difference every day. Both of them deserve appreciation for that.
I also encourage people to watch the program, Pit Bulls and Parolees out of New Orleans. I never liked and was afraid of dogs until I watched this program for a couple of years. Pitties are the world's most misunderstood breed of dog. Now, dogs are my favorite people, in addition to my kitties.
People forget . Pities FIRST jobs in the 1800’s were Nannie’s! They were first bred to watch over children and farm animals that instinct is still in them.
That's amazing and makes perfect sense. I wish that this kind of information was spread around on the internet in place of all the ignorant and incorrect information on pitties. Thank you
Shame on that man for asking why he would want to adopt a "broken dog". Cole is not broken whatsoever. He just has a different way of doing things and thats beautiful. Bless this man for giving him such a fulfilling life. You can tell he just loves being around kids, older people and loves his job. My heart is so happy for Cole! ❤
What a dream team. Cole is so happy and loving. He obviously spreads the love in bucket loads. He's got a better life than most dogs regardless of being deaf. Bless his wee heart 💕
@@Loverofprettythings100% I won't even watch their videos when they're about purchased dogs. You'd think the channel would understand why rescue is so important by now.
In some cases where the human is the deaf one, they have taught their cats sign language, with some cats trying to sign back with their paws. Cats are more capable of doing this than dogs, but it's not as well known. Check out Cornell and Tufts Universities for the best information on this.
This is SO awesome! Watching Cole read sign language is at a whole other level. This man found this dog and both found a purpose. We should all be as blessed. 💖💖💖
His position when he sleeps and the fact that nothing disturbs him are amazing😀.You are also doing an amazing thing - you are sharing what you have received with others.Greetings from Poland🤗
As a parent of a child with a disability, I applaud you and Coal for doing this amazing work! P.S. the fact that someone world call him broken is unforgivable! He's amazing!
Anyone who thinks Pitbulls are bad dogs should go and meet this dog in person I'm certain they would come away with a complete change of heart and of thinking 🐾🐾💖
No animal is “broken”. They don’t know they’re different why should we treat them differently? I love these rescuers and the energy they have to provide these animals with their best lives and sees all the possibilities. This animal is truly amazing and beautiful. ❤
Cole so cracks me up when he's sleeping, little legs up, butt up,..so cute, and so smart, look how he looks at Chris when he's talking to him, looks him right in the face, directly,..pays very, very close attention,..Godspeed, long healthy, happy life to Cole, all his kind, and family,....
Dogs are extremely good at reading our body language, no words needed. That, along with the love he gives his hooman is the reason Cole looks at his hooman so closely. Dogs behaviors are from their wolf ancestors where they learn as pups to read the adult wolves body language to know how to react. In fact when training dogs, think of wolf reactions to let the canine species understand what humans are asking of them. I used to be a professional trainer and try to get other people to talk animal, not animal understanding human speech. Dogs only learn word commands in varied languages depending on what their humans speak, through repetition and hand signals, and praise when they get it right. They never actually understand our spoken language.
One of the best videos I've seen! Cole is NOT broken, he is WONDERFUL!! And Christopher is such a perfect representative of how WONDERFUL animals/pets can be. The love he brings out in Cole, and the beautiful things they do together to help all kinds of people, makes my heart smile!! Way to go Cole & Chris!!!
Cole and his Dad are WONDERFUL. If Cole is broken, I want some more of that "broken"! He is perfect, in every way! 🙌🏽 ❤. Edited to add: Cole lying on his back, on the beanbag, is EVERYTHING! ❤
I love the way he sleeps like that. What a wonderful man for recognising Cole’s shining light. Thank you Christopher you are an amazing beautiful person, bringing so much Joy to those of us who are a little bit broken too. 🙏🏼🇬🇧
So precious in every way! Love the nap pics with all 4 feet in air and he isn't distracted from his nap per noise. Well, when your tired, your tired! Lol! Thank you for saving him. He's saving others in different ways that they need, just by being his precious little self! ❤❤
It's amazing that someone would be so short sighted to call Cole "broken" because he can't hear. Just because a person or animal is different doesn't mean they can't be a productive, giving member of society. Every day, Cole is proving that to be true!! ♥️🥰🥇
It makes one understand why many of us fall in love with the animals in our care. This little guy is special because he and his human companion are doing work they love and they are doing it together.
What an amazing human being Chris is in adopting Cole as a puppy and training him to be a therapy dog. Such an uplifting story and I can understand why Cole was the ASPCA dog of the year. Thank you for giving this beautiful furbaby a chance in life to help others. 😇🥰😍😘😂❤❤❤❤❣❣❣❣❤🙏🙏🙏🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
I would not consider Cole "broken." In fact, he is FAR from it. Bringing comfort and joy to someone's life isn't "broken." It's a GIFT ❤ That's exactly what Cole has. I could just wrap my arms around him, give him cuddles and smoochies all day❤💋 He is precious ❤️
It's amazing how he has adapted to sign language. Angels come in all shapes..sizes..and breeds..!!! God bless all you have done for him..and what he is doing for children. Truly..he is an Angel..and so are you..!!!!!!!! 😇💜😇💜😇💜😇
Dogs have an amazing capacity to learn. My son was born deaf and when he was 3 we got a Wheaten terrier. We taught our family dog sign language so my son could help with her care and training eventually They were a team for 15 years. It was magical!💕🐾🐾
Dude, you're doing wonderful things not only for Cole, but the people you touch each day. Keep up the splendid work🤓 and impacting people each day in such a positive way.
Very heartwarming ❤️. Had a smile on my face the whole time. It's amazing you taught Cole sign language, that must not have been easy. What a sweet loving dog doing so much good to so many people. Thank you for saving this wonderful dog and believing in him ❤️
Actually there have been quite a few animals that have learned sign language and the animal doesn't have to be the one who is deaf. There are deaf owners who teach their pet sign language, and surprisingly cats pick it up quite well, even using their paws to imitate the hand signing. I believe that cats will do this more than dogs since they are used to using their paws in so many ways. I'm not dissing dogs but cats have much better olfactory senses than dogs. And they have a much more complicated vocal usage than dogs, great numbers of single sounds as well as the ability to combine sounds to make words or sentences only other cats understand. Check out Tufts and Cornell Universities for studies on this, since they are the most informative sources on animals.
As someone who has had insomnia in all her 62 years...if it means I could sleep like Cole...I would not mind going deaf:) Cole is such an amazing dog. I thank God for people who never give up on any dog...like Cole's owner did for him.
Chris recognized Coles potential, then proceeded to give him purpose through their work together. Cole brings joy naturally, and is able to so widely through his skill sets. So perfect, so beautiful, so loving. Great work guys. 💞💞🐕😃💞💞
tears of joy here. Just lost my 13 yr old Siberian Husky child and haven’t stopped crying then this made me smile. Cole and his Dad are Champions in my eyes.
