I have a 530d and when i drive 120-130 km/h its around 6.5-7L/100km. For this beast to only consume around 8.7l/100km at a speed of around 120km/h, it’s simply amazing.

I'm a new '20 competition owner (6 weeks). Last week for the first time, I drove it civilized for a week (efficient) and got 19.9 in mostly suburban driving on V power. My normal mpg is 15.

A bit off topic but i have an VW Polo which uses arund 5,5 to 6 liter per 100km. When my wife drives it, its around 6,5 to 7,5 liters so quite a bit more for such a small engine. The driving style has a lot to do with efficience, i almost never brake and keep my flow going while she is not that experienced and has to brake and accelerate more often which kills the efficiency. I am not saying you are a bad driver but you can see in the video that there is room for efficiency improvements

I actually considered that when formulating this test! The problem is we need to use the same pump for both fills, and the Costco gas station is typically packed :/
