06:45 100% agree... I would add to it that the analog intruments were the best IMO. There is simple no need for this non-configurable digit instruments next to the huge HUD and huge central display.
For real. 5 seconds depends on your starting speed though. On the highway, it is less than 3 seconds. Cruising at 80 on the highway in my '14 E63 and punch it will get me to 130 in ~3 sec. This M5C will obviously take even less time. This instantaneous pin you to your seat pull at any given point is so addicting, and that's why I can't accept the lag and slow build up in the X3M and have to go with the M5 for my trade in.
I really like the LCI front, including the new head lights. If they'd let you configure that digital instrument cluster it would help a lot liking it more.

I mean, it is not a world of difference, but the car just makes more sense. The shifts are super smooth, the launch control is ridiculous and the new infotainment system in the 5 series is just absolutely great. The W213 E class is an amazing car as well, but the facelifted 5 series gets my vote, this time.
8:03 - as an owner of a 2023 M5 Comp, this is absolutely spot on. the car's suspension has two personalities. on smooth roads, especially highways, it feels absolutely planted, rock solid, and yet very comfortable. however, go over a bumpy/rough road, even in the comfort setting, and wowza - it is brutal.

I have the M5 competition 2021, the suspension is stiff but not as stiff as on an M8 competition; you can use M5 competition as a daily driver car; what it has better also than a M8 are the sits, which are much more comfortable. If you want smoother ride, but with less horses, you can go for M850i or 750i or anything else but an M car. ( I am not referring here to you Max, you have plenty of experience with high end supercars).
One thing... I'll see you guys often turning the steeringwheel about 45 degrees right before "launching". Is it just me noticing that or is it something else? Reason? Keep it up boys!
I don't know, I just see E39 generation in this F90 LCI so much and I love it! And I must say, BMW did great job with chosing colors, because all marketing photos of new M5 were stunning! This grey is beatiful, but I am totally amazed from that red one. Is there posibility in Individual program get the old speedo meter?
