Yah that is either a restricted or confined space. Looking at the laws in BC it hard to really tell what they would classify that as. In Alberta we could get away with calling it a restricted space due to it not having anything that should change the atmospheric conditions.
Coming from strict germany and working in construction: not only would you need a permit for these changes, it‘d probably get rejected for a number of reasons: Since you put furniture inside that allows extended use of the space and a room with less than 2m in height and no second emergency exit (not that the existing one is safe to use) it can‘t be occupied by people. Also since this is a commercial building, it doesn‘t comply with safety and health regulations for employees, so no staff could use the room. In the best case you‘d be sued and forced to demolish the space. In the worst case if someone died in a fire in this space, not only would your insurer decline the claim, you‘d also go to prison for gross negligence. Tldr: you aren‘t allowed to have fun in germany ☹️
What I would do with a space like this is put a racing sim in there, might even have space for triple screens(if not massive ones) and definitely enough for VR sim racing, as long as the cooling is good enough cuz sweaty face is a thing lol.

This year your christmas present is hidden inside the mansion!
Good luck finding it!"
I like how the room has a bunch of console themed decorations but there's just a god tier PC in there
Heck yeah! Welcome to the floor gaming club! Also, it would be better to use a foldable laptop desk than that lapboard
Now that this video is out, it is really hidden. Nice job Linus. Now all the employees need to do is watch this video which is probably already on their recommended page. Great job. 👍
Love this!! Would also love a longer video with a bit more of the building and making of the room, but I do recognise that I like "maker" content whilst your channel doesn't really focus on that. Still, awesome video!🔥
what would've been more fun is if you hired an outside contracting crew to build your hidden room when no one is there and only you and the cameraman know and see how long it takes your employees to find out where it is in the building
Linus was so happy to finally be in a room his size.
