I scored a 9 once. Unfortunately it was on a Par 4 and was my best hole of the day.
Ha ha losers I shoot a 36 then i go to hole 4
My worst was 15 on the first hole. Hit about 4 trees and 2 3 footers. It was a par 4
I got 141 on a par 70

on a crappy rainy, cold windy day - watching Rick play in those conditions is EASILY as fun as playing myself.
A local club hosts a "backwards round" once a year where you play each hole from green to tee. Small elevated tee boxes make for tough "greens!"
That sounds sick. I'd probably play worse if not the same but still sounds sweet.
Wouldn't they fuck up the greens by driving off them?

How do you putt on a tee box? Do they cut it like a green a put a hole?

I didn't stop smiling from the beginning to the end of this video, two great guys really enjoying themselves and playing good golf, fantastic stuff
Me and my buds have done something of the same over the years, on one end of the course we use two par fours and make them into a par 6. Then on the other end of the course there are two par fours and a par 3 somewhat in line with each other, and this we make a par 9 of them. of course this works well in the early spring and late fall when the course is not a crowed, but much fun. Many quarters are won and lost.
my club holds an annual late Oct. "Cross Country Tourney" like this - frustrating, and FUN! this year it took guys used to playing the course 3-4 times per week in about 3 hours SIX hours to finish the 18 hole layout..
This is exactly the kind of thing my brothers and I do. For example, we used to play golf in a rarely used campground (almost never had any campers even on weekends) and we'd have to bounce the ball off of the picnic tables for a score. The rough was always brutal and the pavement made for some rather long roll outs. Loads of fun.
This was epic, impressed that Pete managed a 10 after that detour.

Too funny. Ricks mate decides to go the opposite way, goes into the water off his tee-shot, then it actually all goes further downhill from there, he gets lost, and still makes a par. Awesome ;) lol

There's another golf course that meanders through and around the championship course, I think they made a rule to stick to the main course.
That was great! I cheered when each putt dropped! Hard core carrying the clubs all that way… and back again.
I lost so many balls just watching this...
