  • Showing details on my installation of the Cardo Freecom 4 plus bluetooth communication units. I install two units on two different helmets so hopefully you'll get some good ideas on how you may need to install yours. I'll cover what to do if:
    - You have a modular helmet
    - Your helmet won't accept the clip-on cradle mount
    - You have a helmet with a non-removable lining
    - You're wondering how to put on the boom mic
    Thanks for watching! Please like and subscribe if this is helpful and leave your own tips and tricks to share with other viewers!

    Yeah I’m pretty sure the speaker CUT OUTS are cut out so you can put the speakers there not on top of the fabric on top of the hole

    The collar where the wires go over does come out, it’s held in by bendable plastic, very fiddly to get out and back in but well worth the trouble, so the wires are hidden.

    Did you keep the speakers on the outside of that cloth material? My Harley helmet seems to be just like yours it's also modular...

      Ya in that case I did. Seemed to fit fine. All depends on how wide your head is/how narrow your helmet is. Hope it works out!

    How's the sound quality of the cardo speakers in the MODULAR helmet, in regard to wind/road noise?

    I liked your video better than Cardo’s own video!
    Quick question, I just ordered a pair of these Cardo’s, and neither mine, or my Wife’s helmet has the headphone cutouts/perfect circles inside. Will I be able to still install these ok?
    We ride ATV’s and have full faced helmets for reference

    • @heybuck6588
      @heybuck6588  2 роки тому

      It depends on how tight your helmets fit on the sides. My wife’s, and one of my helmets had no cutouts and they worked fine. Hope it works out!

    Thanks for the video. Is the earpieces jack socket a regular 3.5mm size? Meaning one could use standard earphones with the unit?

    • @heybuck6588
      @heybuck6588  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks for stopping by. Yes headphones are a typical 3.5mm. The mic connection, however, is very different.
