Hey guys! My sister and I used to go a korean spicy cold noodles restaurant when we used live close by, it was our secret place during summer time. When either one of us having a bad day, that was the place to go. We go there together, eat the spicy cold noodles and forget about all other problems. I didn't mellow down the flavor to fit in eveybody's taste so please reduce amount to raw garlic and chili to your taste! Hope you guys try this cold noodles before the weather gets cool!! Love you all!! ❤️ Written recipe & Nutrition Fact: seonkyounglongest.com/spicy-cold-noodles/

Cold noodles are awesome. Another dish that can be served cold with noodles is a Vietnamese one called Pho Ga' which is a light but salty chicken broth with lots of lime and cilantro added and a huge pile of those little rice noodles you sometimes see in Chinese and Vietnamese places with bits of shredded chicken and diced jalapeno for a bit of kick. Sometimes it's served hot, but can be served cold with ice cubes floating in the bowl. Also, before North Korea got taken over by the commies, they had a sweet rather than spicy version of this as a summer-time dish made with Asian pear sauce and molasses topped with syrup-soaked radishes and lightly salted hard-boiled eggs. It was served with vegetable fritters and tea. They do still offer it to the few foreign tourists for PR sake.

I don't like Korean food. I think like most things in life it is an acquired taste. I went to three Korean restaurants and did not find anything that I would want to eat again. Perhaps I did not know what to order. But I love you and your accent, sense of humor! And it is great you actually eat your plates! I always give you a thumbs up!

Hello Seonkyeong, I made a special trip to an Asian market to make sure I had everything to make this. It's fantastic! I left out the Serrano chili and 1 tbsp less of gochugaru because my family doesn't tolerate spicy food as well as I do. It was still good and spicy and strong! I wasn't going to let my 3.5 year old son have any but he insisted on trying some. His eyes got big and he started charging around the table like a crazy man. He would stop and ask for more, he ate a bunch! I couldn't believe it as he is usually pretty fussy about strongly flavored food. Thanks for a winning recipe!
