  • This was the shape of a car so typical of the 20's. The carriage inspired origin of the body is undeniable, with the enclosed top having the look of a folding top with sideirons and the artillery wheels. This car has what was a relatively modern 6 as a powerplant. Engine accessability was not a problem! Notice the fabric of the interior...looks original...long wearing, practical!

I like it. I see that original interior and i automatically think musty smell of old furniture kept in a basement. Hopefully it doesn't smell like that at all. It is nice to see an original interior on such a long extant car!

Musty may describe that typical smell. The stuffing most likely was horsehair, and that upholstery fabric was very durable, with a very short nap. Irreverently referred to as "mouse fur"! :D Thanks! :D Jack

@@coolrides I'd forgotten about the term 'mouse fur.' Thanks for bringing back an old memory.

There is something pleasant about the 20s styling.

@zanjani13 Hey, Jon! It's interesting to see these old cars to get an appreciation of how far cars have come in a century! Thanks! :) Jack

@cheddyrod Hey, Chester! So true...not a lot of pretentiousness...and the owner could actually work on them!
    Thanks! :) Jack
