      Do you see how much they ask for their pile of junk rust buckets? I can’t believe people would throw away that much money down the shitter for those vehicles.

    He spends all that time straitening those lower front panels only to warp them with the lift strap again.

    Way too nice of a survivor to hot rod, there are enough of those already. This needs to be restoroed.

    • @danontherun5685

      If they aren't set up for todays traffic they're just a waste of space, museums choked with them and closing because no interest. If there were enough hot rods they wouldn't be high priced and its far from being a nice survivor. Would cost a 100K+ to restore it only worth 20-30K. I see units like that on trailers at swap meets 3-6K and solid unrestored pre-wars are common. I'd never let that hack and gouge guy touch any of mine.

    We got a 31 Buick too, but ours is the 57 4 door sedan and not the 56s like you guys have. Same condition as how the car was when you guys got it, but the engine and radiator are still there and the seats are all fallen apart.

    Hello There, I don't know what that grill is off on the Buick but it is off some other make. I have a 1930 Buick Coupe Sport Coupe 64C and the grill on mine is nothing like that one and the body style stayed the same for 1930 and 1931. Mine is a 132 inch wheelbase and i think yours might be the same. 1930 was the last year of the inline 6 cylinder and the big Buick's had a 313 cubic inch motor in it. 1931 was the first year of the straight 8 motor which on the big Buick's was 344.8 cubic inch. I can supply some photo's if you wish to see it. They really are cool iconic cars. Cheers.

    Where was this car stored for all those years? It must have been inside - Some place like a barn would be my guess. The condition is truly incredible!

    • @79tazman
      @79tazman Рік тому

      If it was a barn it would of been filled with rodent turds but something must of been in there since some of the seat is missing anyway it is in great shape. I bet what ever happen to the engine is the reason why it stayed in good shape if the engine was still in it I'm sure it would of been driven more then it was.

    That car needs to be restored to factory specs. You don’t hot rod that car. How many are there? I get what you do ,It’s all about the money….. That car is different. I’m just a guy who lives in the town where that built…. Flint MI. There is too much originality there not to. I know I’m gonna get a lot of flack for saying this, but that is a high end car . Easy way out…. Hot rod it, anybody can do that.

    • @coopersrace7277
      @coopersrace7277 Рік тому +1

      Yep I agree. Anybody can build a street rod or hot rod. That’s easy. Restoring a car that deserves it is hard. This dude just created a restorer’s nightmare. Twisting, yanking and hammering on stuff…… he has no idea what he is doing.
