Favorite Character Wish He Never Died Would Love To See A Spin Off With Him He Was A G Had His Drug Problem But Was Loyal To The Very End Shouldnt Have Gone Out Like That
Idk seems like he got what was coming to him. He couldn’t do anything right and was way too immature. The only reason he wasn’t whacked himself early on for his incompetence was Bc of his family ties.
Even after all the acclaim and awards I still don’t Michael Imperioli gets enough credit for how perfectly he played this role. I don’t think any other actor could have brought what he did to the character.
Honestly if tony didn’t kill Christopher, Christopher would have been very liable with the war with new york especially when paulie betrayed on everyone’s having tony whacked
Christopher is the only character I loved from beginning to end, despite the fact that he hit girlfriends, was chauvinistic, and insecure. Michael Imperlioni is brilliant.
Wow really? Yeah it speaks to how well both actors played the characters well and I think what helped is Chris & Tony dress so different until later in the seasons. Like in the beginning, Chris is in sweatsuits or in jeans dressing like someone immature. Tony is almost never dressed like that. His outfits are almost always the same (polo shirt, suit, or robe if he’s at home)
@@vladys5238 Partly that was because of the show in the first season he was a little big but nothing worrisome. Towards the final season Chase made him gain more and more weight character wise it made sense he's supposed to be giving into his darker urges this includes food. The drug problem was his doing but a lot of celebs had or have issues like that today his was nothing new the problem was when those two things mixed the drugs and the weight.
I recommended the Sopranos to a friend of mine, 53 y.o. court clerk. It was the first and only TV show he ever watched. He said the whole thing was phenomenal, and easily on his top 5 pieces of visual art, including movies. He says nothing shocked him more than Christopher's death. He says it was emotionally painful to watch...keep in mind this is a guy whose entire work revolves around the worst of society (criminal court). He also says The Sopranos is extremely realistic. He got his wife hooked on it, he had to ask her to slow down because she was binging it, so they got to the finale together. He sat there stunned for a few minutes. She picked up the remote and started watching the pilot again.
I feel like he is the caracter that looked the most like a normal person ever, emotion wise obviously. Every down and ups moment he has I feel like I had the same one time. He is excited but then face reality, he is loyal but doesnt like to be disrespected…. For me a legendary writing / acting performance
Were it not for characters like Tony Soprano and Christopher Molstinasnti, there would be no Walter or Jesse from BB, Dexter and many other anti-heroes in series. All characters from Sopranos are great, Imperioli played this role at a high level.
Correct me if i'm wrong. Tony wanted to get rid of that retired detective and used chrissy to kill him. As we have all seen, he didnt kill his father in Many Saints
These best moments clips are awesome the sopranos is still one of my favorite shows and Chris was my favorite character everybody was great but I always felt Chris and Tony were the most multilayered
A monthly due to Don borko will get you all the supplementary protection you need. How would corporate feel if god forbid a channel manager gets assaulted?
Well if he had to forfeit DNA evidence in the past, which is actually quite possible for his character, he may be in a database. I’m that case, yes a urine sample could be used to obtain DNA and compare it to a database. Although I doubt that’s what they meant for this line.
‘You shot some civilian in the foot because he made you wait for BUNS?!?!?!’ The way Tony’s yelling at him and his facial expressions when he says the word “buns” haha I can’t…🤣🤣🤣

Christopher is such an interesting and well-balanced character. On one hand, you have a drug-addicted fuckup with an abusive personality. On the other hand, you put him in a dangerous situation with a gun in one hand, he's a cool-headed, accurate, skilled, and genuinely lethal soldier and marksman. I love the nuance each characters have in the show.
Great character and a great ending for that character, I remember watching thinking "if I was Tony I'd definitely clip chrissy now I got the chance " 👍

There’s a certain beauty to Chrissy questioning his arc then seeing how everything plays out. Master class storytelling
I loved Chris at the start, then I started to feel more and more pity for him. Definitely the most tragic character
Adel probably more tragic
I hated Chris at the start but he ended up as my favorite character

Christopher's one of the best characters on The Sopranos.

The swagger he radiated .. 🔥🔥

Michael Imperlioni is brilliant.
Its amazing to think Micheal was only a few years younger then James Gandolfini was while filming the show they look at least 15 years apart
Yeah Gandolfini was only 5 years older than Imperioli

On a show filled with mafia members, murderers, psychopaths, and innocent people getting killed, Christopher was by far the most tragic
The entire cast and ensemble was amazing. But, in my opinion, Michael Imperioli was the most gifted and talented actor in the series.
Every 4-5 years I rewatch this whole series.
And some how it gets better
every couple months for me

James Gandolfini was so incredible he still steals the show, even in Chris and other characters compilations.

Where's the "That's my money, Paulie!!" part? That was hilarious.
