Sunny this is exactly what we needed. We have the same issue. I put down my preemergent and it proceeded to pour the next few days here in Ga. My biggest issue is all the Poa. I’ll show my hubby this calculator, he’ll enjoy this. I would spray myself but that 4 gallon is too heavy for me. But I think in the fall we’ll do liquid preemergent.
Thank you so much! 👍 We should be warming up really soon so that should help knock out the Poa, too. Yes, I'm going liquid on the preemergents from now on, too.
You will have this under control in no time. My weed pressure came later in the Summer last year and it was more than I ever had. I thought that I could get away with not using a pre emergent last Spring and it end up biting me in the you know what. Got so disgusted with the weeds and fungus that I decided to rip it up and do it over. Thank God I have a small lawn lol .
I did great fall pre emergent but only did a single app in the spring instead of a split, missing the 2nd app was a terrible decision, weeds everywhere, had great control til it wore off, trying this combo this weekend if no rain.
I just applied the same combo on my weeds. Working great but I had to make another app for the poa. I really like that calculator you created. It’s very helpful.
This is awesome! Thank You!!! We’re you doing this work in April? I just read that both of these herbicides can be used in the heat of summer? It’s averaging 90 degrees here in N. Florida and I was going to throw in the towel but if I can use these, that would be fantastic!
Yes, I did it earlier than normal but had preemergent failure and wanted to knock out the weeds. It worked perfectly! Yes, go ahead and use it. You have Bermuda?
Heard a lot of good things about this combo! Do you know whether it’s safe for Centipede grass? Also, does ANYONE know how to remove the lazer dye (concentrate, not diluted) from a concrete driveway?
Yes, should be just fine in Centipede. Double check the label as the application rate may be different than my Bermuda. Typically, after a day or two hit the spots with a heavy stream of water and it should clean up. It weakens over time.
You want to dilute it with enough water per the label on the products. If you are able to cover 1,000 sq ft with 1 gal then it should work. I'm sure there is a reason for the extra water. How did it go?
I’ve got both Celsius and Certainty and applied it to what I think is some kind of Sedge. Is there a way to post a picture of the weed so you might tell me what this is? It’s single long blade with a purplish base. I sprayed Certainty a week ago and it’s still growing. Help!
If it’s a sedge the Certainty will take care of it. It’s just slow. Sedgehammer does a great job, too. Check out my video from a few weeks ago. I compare 4 different products on yellow nutsedge. Thanks for watching! 👍
Label says 90 days after spraying you can seed Bermuda. I think Rye is 14 days. Double check the label. www.domyown.com/msds/Celsius%20WG%20Herbicide%20Label.pdf
You basically want the product to dry on the weeds, thus being absorbed by the plant. There is no need to water in. I would wait at least 12-24 hrs before exposing to rain or sprinklers.

Not a failure Sunny. I see it more as a fun challenge for great content to start the season. 👍👍
Very true, I guess those weed seeds were lying dormant the past couple of years waiting for their chance to shine. 🤣 How about those Hogs!?!?
@@SunnyBermuda Woo Pig Sooie! How bout dem Hogs!!! Time for Duke!
Love the calculator!!!!
Thank you! 👍😎
Amazing calculator, thank you! I love the Celsius and Certainty combo on my St Aug lawn.
☀️Awesome!! Thank you! 👍

Wow! I could never rip up my big old yard. It’ll take a few weeks, but I think I’ll get it knocked out and looking better. 👍
Thanks for the calculator from NE Madison Co AL!
Awesome!! Glad it helped from central Alabama. 😀
Hey sunny nice job on giving those weeds what they need. That Combo ..I used that same Combo last week 😅 did great 👍
That's great to hear. That burweed is some strong stuff. May need a second app. Thanks for watching. 👍

This is one of the best combos out there. Takes a while to see visible results. One day you’ll walk out and wonder where all the weeds went. 😂
Good stuff! Specticle is awesome to use in fall, I had zero poa this year
Yes, I definitely plan to go liquid, too. Heard good stuff about the Specticle. Thank you!
Great video, always remember W.A.L.E.S when mixing. Wettable powders WG, Agitation, Liquids, Emulsions, Surfactants
Thanks for sharing!! 👍
Thanks for the information!
👍😎
Both have a gallon/1k sqft on the label I usually use around 1.5 gallon per 1000 sqft so I use the amount of both for that....
☀️That’ll work 👍

Thank you!! 👍 It’s a great combo and should last for years as small as the app rate is.
Solid stuff as always!!
☀️Thank you! 👍
We call that spur weed. The spurs or stickers are the seeds.
Yep, hate stepping on them. Ouch!
Did it end up working? Or did you have to use something else for the stickers?
@@tippytiger3945 most broadleaf weed killers will work on spurweed. you don't need an expensive herbicide.
@tippytiger3945 Yes, worked great!
Good job Sunny! Great and thorough explanation! Did those sticker weeds start to die out? My FIL has the same issue in his backyard
They yellowed some, but I think a second app is needed. I may wait and let them die in the heat or try 2-4-D on them.
This is awesome! Thank You!!!

@@SunnyBermuda I had to spray pretty heavy to get 4 gallons into 2k sf. I broadcast sprayed the entire yard. Seemed like overkill but I’m not sure.
@@ohxietviet should work great 👍
I agree with 1k per gal ( this seems to be the industry standard) or ?
You should have got pretty good control of burweed with the certainty how is it looking?

That sad music is appropriate for a preemergent failure 😪
😂Yeah, was wondering if anyone would notice the music. 👍
What spray tip did you use? Thanks
