They don't hurt you. There is no perfect team ready to play a perfect game, and if that's what it takes to knock off Mahomes when it matters, the Chiefs will be the first to three-peat. If his play and Reid's coaching is that good that you put that much pressure on yourself to play perfect, you get what's happening this season. The true mark of a great team is winning despite the issues, injuries, weather, officiating, dumb luck, etc. Can you win when your QB isn't having a great game? How many of the other AFC contenders can win when their QB isn't playing well? I'd say none besides the Steelers, and that's more because of Tomlin's experience than the players. Anyone in the NFC winning without good QB play? No. The Chiefs are winning because they're a bunch of winners, from the HC on down. Good luck, rest of the league, especially if you have to go to Arrowhead.
The problem is the chiefs only have ugly wins, they’ve got the third best point differential in their own division. Mahomes and Reid are great, but at a certain point, you do have to question if they’ll be able to get three or four straight ugly wins against good teams in the playoffs

It's fair to say that blowing teams out doesn't let you bank points in future games, so it doesnt matter HOW you win. It's also true that if the Chiefs kept playing this way, they're not likely to win 3 playoff games in a row. To do so would probably require playing better. Which can happen, but despite the fact it happened once, is far from a guarantee. "They are going to turn it on, just watch". I mean yea, they can. Might not. We don't know.
Brockman 😂 Imagine 20 years from now your grandkids are asking what it was like to witness one of the greatest NFL dynasties ever, and all your takes basically boiled down to “what if the Chiefs NEVER made clutch plays and ALWAYS lost close games, then they’d no longer be a good team” 😂😂😂
My goodness everybody's memory is too short it doesn't even go back less than a year... Last year's Chiefs team were much worse overall, slightly better defense though. But the same narratives were going around, the same calls about them being cooked, gonna crash out in the playoffs, etc etc etc... Then the playoffs came around, and what happened?
It wasn''t though. Obviously they lost more games but in their wins they were winning by almost double the points on average. This team is 11-1 and has a worse point differential than last season when they were 11-6. That's pretty telling. I don't think it's a fluke but it's definitely unsustainable long term for the rest of the season.

You half to get your foot in, and they beat the Ravens by 7. This is just a haters argument. Chris is just hating because he’s defensive of his Patriots dynasty.
It’s funny how the greater you are the more “lucky” you get 😂 When are people going to learn, we’re in the midst of one of the greatest Dynasties ever (just like the Patriots), my advice just sit back and enjoy it because it’s not going anywhere when the QB is only 29 with by far the best GM/Headcoach & Defensive coordinator in the game (& it ain’t even close) 😭
These games there playing are just preseason to them watch what they do in play off time then you all can cry about how bad they looked in there regular season.
Just for the record, a 1/4 inch is less than 1 centimeter. It is 0.635 cm = 0.25 Inch. So centimeter is more, and centimeter(s) is even more than that.
The funny thing is, if the Chiefs were actually 7-5 they’d be far less criticized and after last year the consensus would be “this team can win the Super Bowl”.
The Arrowhead Stadium fans were the most valuable player on that last play against the Raiders, they couldn't hear anything and were so confused they hiked the ball before they should have....this win goes to the fans.
The Chiefs don't care as much as the other teams they are playing. Get healthy. Show as little as possible. Prepare for January. We don't care if we are 9-2 or 9-1.
It's not like the Chefs needed it, but these close wins can build character. The '83 Washington Football Team were dominant, breaking the record for points scored but getting blown out by the Raiders in the Super Bowl. The '82 champions fed on the kind of close wins that KC is getting. They ground it out with Riggins, won the turnover battle, and had Mark Moseley as the frequent difference-maker. Winning without needing Mahomes' spectacularity is a very good thing. It's still there when they need it.

I'm enjoying watching them step on the Bills trap all over again when swearing they weren't going to again 😂
Don't be surprised if the Refs have already decided that the Chefs will win the upcoming Super Bowl.
@ cope and seethe
Yea....the Chiefs are so lucky and the NFL wants them in the Superbowl....that they have 3 games in 10 days 😮 😮😮😮
Right!? Like no one mentions this at all. We've had one of the toughest schedules this year on top of all these injuries
“If one team decided to run the ball” they were getting LOCKED UP. Thats why they stopped 😭
If “ifs” were pennies, Brockman would be a billionaire
Keep crying me a river Brockman 🤣🤣
Then the playoffs came around, and what happened?
wasnt there defense amazing last year not just a little better? Agree with your point but honestly asking
@@MMMHOTCHEEZE you know 80% of the total games this year in the league have been decided by one score?
@@myhoodiskc And? Both the Chargers and Broncos have 3 and 4 losses more than the Chiefs and still have a higher point differential by like 20. They are not playing Super Bowl level football right now.
@@MMMHOTCHEEZE stats ain't everything. They chilling if DJ humphries is any kind of upgrade at LT. They will click in the playoffs. Kinda just like last season.
When the lions beat the chiefs last year it was without Travis and Chris jones playing
You have to play perfect to beat the chiefs while they are injured! Tell me that isn't crazy...
Mahomes and kelce look miserable… it’s almost like they know the devil is coming to collect soon.
The Patriots were exactly the same way!
Everybody acting like Andy Reid doesn't play vanilla football during the regular season the most hilarious part is usually the chiefs lose 4 or 5 games during the regular season because of that but this year we are winning most of those games just wait until the playoffs when the chiefs really start to bring the heat
Brochman is such a butt hurt Patriots' fan. If the Chiefs do threepeat, they are going to have to put Brockman on suicide watch. He is going to be so angry, bitter, and disappointed.
Brockman is so desperate for the Patriots to remain the best dynasty. Rich should ask him about the fluky 2003 Patriots he loves so much.
Chiefs ruined brockmans thanksgiving weekend 😂
They know how to win when they need to win. Of course there is some luck involved but nobody is that lucky all the time. That’s what championship teams do.
Can we admit they’ve also had the hardest schedule with 5 more to go.
"Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing." -Vince Lombardi
Raiders played their best game all year and lost.
Panthers played their best game in 3 years and lost.
Broncos played ALMOST a flawless game and lost.
Teams must play perfect to beat the incredibly banged up and thrown together team called the Chiefs.
January 6, 2025, the chiefs are comin’ AND HELL’S COMIN’ WITH ‘EM!
guess championship pedigree isn't a thing anymore?!?!
Don’t act like the raiders were making a 54 yard field goal 😂
Carlson already missed 2 that game. He makes one. Different story
@@michaelolmedo6764it would have been a 48 yarder which he hits 79%. The Raiders weren't trying a fg. They needed a loss
@@Robert-fs6geDid you forget to tack on that 5 yard false start penalty everybody wanted to give Carlson a chance to miss his 4th FG from 54?
@michaelbayha5557 I understand that but my point is that they should have kicked on 3rd down. There was no reason to try to kill a few seconds
When will you people learn to stop doubting this team?
Flukey? Which is synonymous with Lucky I believe…. And remember gentlemen, Luck is the residue of design 🤔…
As a chiefs fan, I hate knowing we would have a losing season if you delete the last 2 minutes of every game.
To be fair they didn’t “find a way to win” over the Raiders. The Raiders LOST the game with a random mistake.
This might be the chiefs year been a minute 💘💝💖
I would count them out, but last yr they literally couldn’t catch the ball and won the Superbowl.
The funny thing is, if the Chiefs were actually 7-5 they’d be far less criticized and after last year the consensus would be “this team can win the Super Bowl”.
Game 1 last year!! What a weak argument
The amount of mental gymnastics Chris is having to run through has to be maddening.
The chiefs always beat the bills in the playoffs. Also lions beat them without jones and Kelce. Plus chiefs got better since then.
People hate the Chiefs like they are taught to hate Trump. Go Chiefs! Go Trump! All this winning is making me tired! HaHaHa
The Arrowhead Stadium fans were the most valuable player on that last play against the Raiders, they couldn't hear anything and were so confused they hiked the ball before they should have....this win goes to the fans.
Andy Reid is a really, really good coach. They are dominating the situational football that coaches are in charge of.
Oooooooooh Buffalo beat them already..😂😂😂😂but not when it matters. This is just tds at its finest
Lamar missed the throw before the likely throw by 3 meters
3 games in 10 days? Chiefs got the juice💪🏾💪🏾
I think that the "QUESTIONABLE" reffing needs to be called out and I wish Rich or some mainline reporter would call it out.
Jim Harbaugh: If worms had machine guns, they wouldnt be afraid of birds😂
They’ve been so lucky.
Chris. Your bald head is a flook. When growing up we thought you’d have a head full of hair. Even tho there were nay sayers telling you it’s thinning out. We still believed you.
This is how you sound talking about the chiefs.
Don't want to be the team that has to go to KC in a playoff game!!! Feelings will be crushed and not in a fluky way!! Don't make us destroy you
I wish the Chiefs could get one of those close 'resilient wins' like the Lions did against the Bears... oh wait...😂
Whos the bald dude that seems pissed off at the world. In the great words spoken. "Lighten up Francis" whats he have on rich, the guy brings the whole vibe down.
Come on Chris we know you're a hater😂😂 and I know you hate being wrong every week about the Chiefs I get it sometimes you take both sides so you can't be wrong but the Chiefs are the Chiefs and they're going to keep winning
66 taps rookie center #58…for snap the ball…the fact that they still had players running around and the QB AOC…wasn’t ready for the ball..is not on the refs or KC …so the refs made the correct call…so who do you blame for the screw-up?..
Chiefs will lose at least 2 more games, tie the Bills for record and the Bills will take the 1 seed.
How many teams wish they were 11 and 1 . U sound bitter that were the best team in NFL till somebody beats us in the playoffs. We were 8 and 4 at this time last year and rich said we probably going to lose in the first round. What happened !! Chiefs kingdom baby
Stop living in the far past so how many times do the Chiefs have to keep doing the same thing over and over again before Chris realizes they're not just good but they're great and we haven't even reached the playoffs where most teams dread playing the other teams the Chiefs aren't like that.... all the other teams are afraid to play the Chiefs in the playoffs period.
