Stalker 2 really needs a Cyberpunk 2077 kinda patch, but the game itself is definitely playable! Also, remember stalkers, there aren’t any bugs in the zone, only anomalies!☢️
its way way way way way better than cyberpunk was at launch and the game in general is better with more feel/ideas and bones than cyberpunk still has today although granted i have not played the dlc
The day before was also playable, it wasnt exactly what anyone expected, but it played. Stalker 2 is a fail in my eyes, born way before the originals released and i played em all, amazing games for their time. This stalker 2 game...just another open world game really, it will take years to make i an actual GOOD GAME...right now its a game.
Besides the current lack of A-Life, I think had GSC given us the modpack style emissions it would have done SO much more service to the feel of the game. You hear sirens as your PDA and radio cackles and fuzzes out, and slowly the horizon darkens as it transforms into a massive glowing cloud front. The ground starts to shake and the air around you rumbles as a fucking wall of death and radioactive plasma sweeps the landscape at hurricane level speeds, killing everything in its path. It is to this day the ONLY game I have ever played where I had a genuine fear of the later stages before even leaving the starting area. It is that good of a narrative tool. In Stalker 2 I like the red atmosphere effect but then you guy kind of like a cloud spiral that for some reason looks way to close to the player, and there is some lightning and some shaking, but then its just very yellow and you "URGH IT HURTS" out of existence. A real bummer since the rest of the environmental and atmospheric details are amazing.
By far. The core gameplay is something people have played for well over a decade, it’s a tried an tested game that has just been x10 Star field was good for the first few dozen hours, the story was the least engaging Bethesda game I’ve played

The whole world isn't gone. It's there. Your just not allowed to go. Go to the bottom of the map and there's a wall.

Its better than Starfield. I feel challenged in Stalker. Loot simulators are great.
