The Weird Nut you get from the fire tornado is different from the Weird Bolt you get from the normal tornado. The Weird Nut has a tendency to not spawn for some reason.
For me and some others it did not spawn and the thing we all had in common was that we climbed the cooling tower first. Reloading before all that and Beelining to the Weird Nut first fixed it for some reason.
I had problem with with weird bolt not being in tornado (Glika showed its 82 meters away from me) and no chance with Weird Water. Even after installing mod for detectors to detect legendary arch artifacts it wasn't there
If you climb the tower first and inevitably trip the grenade the concussive force yeets the nut into...somewhere. Just grab it before you climb up and you're good to go.
Small tip: Weird water is currently bugged. You need to get it when you discover the anomaly. If you come back later, chances are high it will never spawn.
Any artefact will spawn in their correlated anomaly, it’s all based on chance if you get a good one or not, there is no “this spot is the best for x artefact compared to y artefact” Arch artefacts are the only ones with a set place
The weird pot trick is that depending on which side you attempt to leave, the place changes slightly, as in. West South East North. I think that's the way it works.

Physical resistance is capped. If you are already using armor with high phy res like falcon or diamon exo, you are basically wasting the artifact slots by using compass or any other phy res artifact. use glare instead for electro res
One thunderberry almost maxes endurance too, it also gives the most maximum stamina and a second one just increases the stamina regeneration, second one dosent allow you to run further, just restores you stamina faster if you stop running. A third one will make the stamina regeneration even faster but its diminishing returns. Compass will max out you physical protection if you have 1 bar of protection, thats how powerful it is. You can literally run an ssp-99 suit (5 slots once upgraded) with weird water, 2 thunderberries, compass and hypercube, the only problem is the low psi protection.
Counterpoint: Your armor's physical resistance goes down as it gets damaged. If you're on a long outing that number can drop quite a bit. Even if you have the best exosuit in the game (which has 4.9 out of a possible 5 physical resistance), keeping something like a Compass on you to swap to when it gets damaged will make sure you always stay at max.
I have found in my own experience EMISSIONS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH ARTIFACT SPAWNS (outside of the in game lore). Tired of seeing people make videos and starting off with that like it's an actual mechanic. I have had 3 or 4 artifact spawns per field in between emissions (or in one play through, before I did the mission that unlocks emissions at all). Artifact respawns are 100% based on just time passing. That's it. No other factors. Just in game time. It does seem to be a window of 2-3 in game day cycles, but an emission is not at all required.
Wow this changes... nothing! As during the time it takes to respawn will trigger 1 or 2 emissions anyways usually. It's also the way it worked in COP and is in the lore too, and overall doesn't change much when artifacts don't respawn every 5 minutes anyway.
Have you had any issues with farming common-rare artefacts? I have done around 110 gravitational anomalies and still haven't gotten the Jellyfish (common). Done about 90 acids and no Mold (common), do you have any tips for that or am I just getting insanely unlucky. It genuinely feels like the drop rates are just bugged.
I have found that if that happens to me I have to reload a save before the artifact spawned so that it gets a new chance. I also noticed once its in the ground it stays there if you don't fix it. Maybe it could fix itself but I havent seen it happen on the one thats bugged for me.

I'm waiting for a couple more patches, real A-life, hopefully more performance improvements etc... Right now after beating the main questline there's not much to do

I can’t even get weird water on console it never spawns for me I have made like 5 play throughs this time I skipped my main quest left zalyssia early with a box from the military check point in cordon brought it to wild island train section and jumped over my emission didn’t happen at all till I went to Rostock

Personally I was really demotivated to complete my artifact runs by how lazy and boring the artifacts are (although the variety, lore and looks are amazing, I love the artifact examine option). After making a single route from Cordon to Zalissya, and a few runs I had all three T4 artifacts and a few night stars (T3 weight is fsr the best you can get, if we don't count weird water thats bugged for my save).
I think all this artifact hunting & running around for me has truly revealed how empty the zone feels right now. It really hit home when I was recording this video. Can't wait to get a proper A-life. After that more Artis variety would be nice ofc :)

@@DemiG0D23 kinda spoilers ahead. they've lost detailed data (buff in numbers), a bunch of other resistances (such as rupture, ballistic, impact and explosive res are now just physical res, lost psy res artifacts, and various buffs\debuffs combinations are copy-paste. As a result you have about 2-3 artifacts that have the exact same effects. Also they for some reason capped stamina regeneration. I really miss health regen artifacts, and mix and matching different interesting effects to offset debuffs and gain interesting buff combinations. Some artifacts are just missing, for example there is just no maximum weight or electrical res artifacts
Yea there's without a doubt some insane bias going on. If another game released with such game breaking bugs and awful optimization, it would get slandered to the moon and review bombed. Not to mention the ALife being not only a downgrade but just garbage in general. Them removing ALife from the description just before releasing was also super shady.

I triggered the grenade first and knocked the nut from its spot but I just went to below where it spawns and it was there

What do you do about Artifacts that spawn in ceilings or floors? I have a handful of good locations I can pinpoint the artifact and nothing is there.
