Yarmouth isn't for everyone it is true, but for me it will always be home. You take the bitter with the sweet and see that it can shape your character. Most who find that there is nothing there for them are usually those who seek something more than a life of the sea. Yarmouth is small and unassuming, and more often than not the younger people of the community have not much to say that is good about it. I have been away from my home for more than five years now and miss it very much.
im in the tourism industry and from wedgeport, so seeing this video of yarmouth at it's finest should be shown pubically to increase the tourism industry in our little corner of the world. This video is great, but probably wouldn't of found it until i was at home , bored and browsing the net.has it been used for any advertising? i think it should be.
I used to think Yarmouth Co. was a terrible place to live, and about how I wanted to move away. Lived in Montreal for a month will people from around Canada in Katimavik, and realised that NS is actually the best part of Canada hands down.
Very good work, Sue. Intimate first then informative. Tells a valuable story with images that required being on site and keeping the sun and lighting in mind and maximised the colour because of it. David
@Queentallicamaiden You can offend people, but Yarmouth; it's BEAUTIFUL! I can't believe I moved some where else :\ Sure, there may not be jobs. Or enough money. But I think I rather starve to death in the greenest grasses and the wonderful glittering water, and laugh my head off with funny people! Because that's who we are! Funny, sweet, caring and helpful.
Great information about the beautiful Yarmouth County area!

"Fernweh"= being homesick for a place you've never visited. That is how I feel about Nova Scotia. It calls to me. Can't wait to go
Very nice video
Beautiful warms my heart
