There are so many abandoned places in Nova Scotia. There is an entire town with a beautiful church just laying to waste. All from the 50s, and some houses even have canned food in the pantry and are fully furnished.
Nova Scotia woods in the fall! Reminds me of when we moved here almost a year ago. Me and the dogs love the backroad adventures in the province too, it's such a unique place for it with a ton to see in a relatively small area compared to the larger provinces.
Now that's pretty cool! Never knew about the natural park...perfect area for exploration! I would guess that there are plenty other places like this here in Nova Scotia. Bruce and Otis
Great documentary. Editing skills are fantastic and probably not even what you do for a living. Kudos for the effort and information presented here. I’ll be checking out your channel. Subscribed today.
Thank you very much for checking out the video and for your kind words. You’re correct, we are both in health care field but really enjoy creating such content as this. Take care.
New France was also called Electric City ..not that it was an actual city but it did have the distinction of being the first village to be powered by electricity in Nova Scotia. The power being supplied by a water turbine.
My grandmother worked back there. They own the house halfway to Weymouth, so the workers would stay there and carry on the next day by horse and buggy.
I live in Nova Scotia i don't have a vehicle tho but i always wanted to find some abandoned town and go there snd explore and have someone who has a car to want to go to abandoned areas in amd around Nova Scotia id love to go all around Canada and visit and explore government areaa abandoned and occult areas
@@cattledogsandco I see so many places I'd love to explore there's alot of places in Canada I saw on Tik Tok I didn't even knew excited that are just like in the US
A fire destroyed the railroad tracks and the town owner moved to Weymouth... It is said this town had a good relationship with the blacks and native . One of the shots was that of a town wishing well.
In my dreams (nightmares) The WWs created so many dark shadows (people who cannot be reborn because they went dsrk in thought and deed) I think you will find 1000s of ghost towns that suddenly get a new name, National Forests everywhere and still growing. That makes them unsellable, and unusabe. But, they will temp you to explore. Cannabils live in creatures in the NFs. So, it is a good thing I woke up and said, aint going to no forest, grand hole in the ground, or anywhere near port cities right now. People at the top are getting away with removing Love on earth, and the people pay with their souls being stuck in a deimension that can go from a nice campground and few issues, or living in an actual valcano. Next stop, eternal lake of fire? Dont the line I see where this goes. But, I wont open my door now. Kind people are the targets. xo
I think this spring I will saddle up my DRZ and try to find some of these places. Cool channel!
It’s so fun exploring the lesser known areas around us. Have a great ride on your bike and thanks for checking out the video.
I love Nova Scotia, best place in the world (that I've seen, so far). I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. ❤❤
Have to agree, it is pretty great!

I find that stuff so interesting!
Old Nova Scotian here, wishing I were sixty years younger and able to enjoy life in my home province.
We’re happy to share our adventures so you can still get a peek into some NS exploring! Thanks for watching.

Agreed! So much to explore here, and fall is stunning. I’m excited for the colours already!

It was a really cool spot! I’d love to camp there, so quiet and lovely lakes and a river.

The unknown history in the rural areas is amazing in this province, isn’t it? Thanks for checking the video out. Take care.

Thank you for sharing. I love finding out lesser known history like that!

The good thing about these areas is, “like a fine wine”, they get better with time.

My grandmother grew up in Goldenville NS. In the early 1900's it had a population over 3000. Now there are 4 or 5 families.
Interesting! I've never heard of Goldenville, but will look it up!
I miss my Blue Heeler. Best breed I've ever worked with
Did you happen to look for the old cemetery?
Not on this trip, but we did on another visit!
Um pouco assustador sim!👀👻😄👏👏👏👏
That was so interesting!
Glad you think so! Thank you for checking it out.

We find out locations by word of mouth and also through Google searches. Many others we come across incidentally.

This town is the reason I became interested in old settlements around NS, the north mountain has a few hidden settlement... 😉
You didn’t have to go Crossgates lane bridge to get there
We did, but this was before it was closed off. Thanks for checking out the video.
