@@wildstarr lol i have i just worry that sets which are almost self contained struggle in the long term. For example dr who with its core mechanics being mostly introduced within the set itself and synergies with the majority of players previous decks don’t exist. But then there’s cards like eluge/ember heart/three tree/fountain which hit a larger part of the pie!
2:04 that card is too tribal centric? It's a tribal set and 90% of the cards you pulled are tribal, including the squirrel you said is great not 5 seconds earlier. Is it just commentary for the sake of commentary?
@@BabyKuhnGames There are specific cards that have tribal effects but stand on their own without needing to lean into the effect alone. For example sword of the squeek, it has a line of tribal text but can also be used in a token creature strategy; the card therefore is not considered vanilla outside the tribes it supports.
