- Universes Beyond Assassin's Creed collector boosters are weird. They only have 12 cards and since the set only has 100 cards there might be a lot of redundancy. Are they worth opening? Let's crack one and see!

The Sword of Feast and Famine sword is a Khopesh which is designed to get around sheilds

1:49 it's a type of sword called a khopesh. Per Wikipedia, it's a "sickle shaped sword" so you're not far off. A farming sickle is much shorter
It's basically a sword that got built off the back of a battle axe. They were commonly found in Egypt and the surrounding area in the bronze age.
They also appear in Amonkhet art.

Honestly I hope this set fails again. I dont like that they are jacking up the prices per pack/per card with them. Keep in mind, LoTR is cheaper per pack than this set and has astoundingly better pulls in it.

Honestly the constant mispronouncing, and seemingly on purpose is getting really annoying.
Like halfway into the video you opened an Ezio and called it the right name but stopped yourself halfway through it. It seems like you're doing it just for engagement about it in the comments. (Which yes, I know I am engaging in)
I love Seth. But, let's be honest about what this is. Card Kingdom has a vested interest in selling these boxes. So they send them while the prices are still jacked up and inflated before a ton of openings and it looks like it's always a good idea to buy. The same is true with all his new release openings. I understand card kingdom's stance... I'm disappointed in mtggoldfish as a company. I will add their web page ads are now very intrusive compared to before.
When you're ONLY looking for Templar Knights, the randomness will of course feel the most unfair, the reality is, any other card that could possibly take that card's slot in the pack is the same randomness as any other card. We notice it more because we want it the most. Lesson, buy singles.
I'm not terribly concerned about historical figures in magic because of the precedent that it's been around in the earliest days. Beyond that, these aren't like..."Real Life Historical Figures" being printed, but more accurately "Assassin's Creed characters who happen to be based off real life historical figures" which feels like hair splitting but is indeed important because they're often similar to their real life counterpart, but are 100% their own character in the games.
Can swords be curved?
Katana 'Am I a joke to you?'
Blades that are curved are better for cutting and for swords easier to unsheathe hence why famously Katana's are always portrayed been quickly sheathed.
Straight Swords however are better at thrusts and directly piercing though.
So both have their uses.
The Khopesh aka The Sword of Feast and Famine is advantaged by been very agile along with the cutting been easy, In the game this Legendary Sword also comes with a Toxic Poison that once cut by it, it will go right into your system so the need for a final blow as piercing through would be less needed. Making it a great weapon in Creed Origins.
That Poison is why this weapon was chosen to be Feast and Famine very on flavor.

Nice to see someone got an ezio. My SIL got a collectors booster box... all junk. People at the store bought a small mountain of product... junk. The store owner cracked a few boxes himself... all junk. THOUSANDS were spent that, and everyone got farked. I realize it's supposed to be random gambling, but if a fan is gunna drop $300 on cardboard, they can tweak their formula to drop better stuff on those boxes. Instead, everyone got a big middle finger.
As a once wise professor told me...Buy singles because you are never guaranteed value or the cards you want. Unless you like cracking packs
I think at this point everyone opening packs are doing it for fun
Please stop acting like anybody is making money off of 10 dollar cards or "breaking even". WE ALL pay taxes on the boxes we buy and sometimes shipping. This is not breaking even. This is a massive loss. And you're not singling out every single card and selling and shipping it individually to individual people within days. It could take MONTHS to sell 1 card with 120 people looking at it on EBay. Stop fooling your community now. Take the money counters down and stop acting like its a profit or even breaking even.
If you want to play magic, buy play packs and singles. If you want to collect, so be it. Don't act like it's anything other than the entire hassle around trying to get your money back when you crack a collectible.
If you want to make a sure profit, don't crack it and hold it for 3 years and sell it sealed. Boom profit. Don't try to catch that wave peeps.

im watching insane amounts of videos about old cards, and in my opinion you cannot
evaluate if cards are worth nowadays. people just hype up things cause they want it
to be like back then. but the 90s will always stay the 90s. in 2050 30 years ago is a
totally different time. the cards that come out today, and 5-10 years ago will never have
the same value every than the first few magic sets. only cause of power creep,, and the
game becoming more and more like yugioh.
Genuinely interested in your opinion here. Do you not think it is immoral to post these videos knowing that the $ value you are putting up is completely wrong by the time the majority of players have access to this product?
Some kid is going to buy a collectors booster box of this because he watched this vid who does not have access to a storefront to sell/trade these cards at market value. And even if that kid did the market value is not going to be close to whats listed.
I get its fun to watch packs get cracked, its why I'm here. But its just playing into people who have no control over gambling.

Opened a collector box myself and all 23 etched foils had badly scuff marks on the back. So my EV was cut 40-50% for on these heavily played tcg condition cards.

With this kind of duplication the sword, fear of darkness and Enzo will all crash and the rest with be $1-$3 each. Oddly the Knight looks like it will hold its price the best. He barely saw them in a full box.

Yes, the design of sword of feast and famine is based on a real weapon. It’s a Bronze Age weapon from ancient Egypt and surrounding areas.
Sword of X and Y is an Egyptian khopesh, they are meant to be curved too get around traditional shields.
The white stuff that is catching yer eye is the animus from the games its like their neural net port program to enter into historical dates.
