I somehow was introduced to The Petherick’s channel right when the convent project begun. I remember the day Billy got the keys & showed us the inside for the first time. Then came the clearing out of the courtyard… tackling all the overgrowth from many previous years of neglect. Next was working on various rooms in the office area; adding new gates & automatic openers; getting a bell & raising it up into its tower and of course the major remodel of ‘the kitchen’. Now there’s an organ to install plus I know there are bags of cobbles to be laid at some point as well as more work on ‘the garden’ where many fruit trees are still growing. Plus we got a huge ‘bar’ taken from I believe a bank & a library to be done. It’s amazing… I wish I was living across the Big Pond for surely a retired guy like myself would love to come volunteer for a week. Cheers!

How about a little series where you chat to each character in turn - Sadie, Mo, Yannis, Michael, Mick and his wife, Steve, Simon, Alex, Phil, etc. I know you think that editing and filming get a bit of a drag at times. Maybe a short chat with each character would lighten the vlogging load now and again.
Next time ask Billy about his plans for the garden. Is a local garden society interested in identifying heritage and unusual plants? You did a good job with Simon and Yannis with the layout and fruit trees. It is a special garden.

I like that Billy cleaned up the outside of the building first so it's glory is shown. Doing one project at a time ( basically while planning the next) is brilliant. Do one room right then move on. I am looking forward to when he is able to restore the vegetable gardens and can get fruit from the trees and berries from the over grown bushes. The chapel is going to be stunning with the organ in place.
When the organ is finished for Christmas, Billy should advertise an organ concert in the chapel and the people of the village can get together and listen to Michael play it. I’m sure they’re all very curious and it doesn’t hurt to have a good relationship with the townsfolk.
Ryan, you have found your calling. You are a brilliant interviewer. You add follow-up questions and a bit of encouragement when conversations dry up. You handled the conversation beaautifully. Perhaps you could include more interviews with some of the locals (ie. Mayor) and Craftpeople working at the Convent. We would love to hear about the lives of many of the folks we see in all the video. What brought them to France? Where did they learn their skills? What do they think of their part in restoring the Convent. Where were they born and/or raised. In the future, perhaps you could interview the people who volunteer at the Convent. And, BTW, can't wait to hear about your new "thing."
