- How can we be happier?
Why is the pursuit of happiness so stressful and unfulfilling? Why do we believe that huge achievements trump small everyday moments that connect us with ourselves and those we love most? After years of "dreaming in American" and chasing The Big Happy, Russian-born entrepreneur Nataly Kogan dug into the research and believes the key to being happier is to stop saying "I'll be happy when..." and start saying "I'm happy now because..."
About TEDx
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations) - Навчання та стиль
Gratitude for you beloved Nataly!!! I found you on Sounds True podcast!🦋🙏🤗
Nataly , I dont have the words to express how wonderful this talk was ! Thank you so very much for your honesty , love and guidance x
These are the apps that will change the world. Simple ideas with enormous hunger. Loved it.
Several years ago, I stopped watching network news every night. I started wondering why I should focus on the woes of the world every single night -- because none of that news seems ever to change. This is brilliant. Start a Happy News Network. I'll watch.
An amazing talk that is not so much a sharing of joy, but one woman's story and mission to help everyone achieve a state of being that is filled with daily gratitude, which means appreciating the small life moments, and can lead to increased life happiness. Not the big happy, but happiER.
love this app and am deeply appreciative for Nataly Kogan for having it available to everyone for free!
Thank you for this Nataly! I've now got, "Life is made of moments, choose to create and collect the happy ones.” posted on my wall!
Nataly, you and Happier have been a real inspiration to me and I am trying to spread the word here in Ireland about all you do. Thank you for changing my life totally! Keep spreading the happiness - you are an inspiration.
Thank you! So kin of you to say.
How can anyone "thumbs down" this amazing talk? SMH. Anyhow, I loved it, and this video made me happy. Every day since Feb. 2017, I've posted on FB, "The nice thing that I did for myself today: ___[fill in the blank]___." If I miss one day, I do two things the following day. This has fundamentally changed my life. I stopped posting when Hurricane Harvey hit because I felt ridiculous for posting my "nice things" while others were in misery... even though there are a lot of people living in misery every day. When I stopped posting, I noticed that I stopped doing my nice things. Posting kept me accountable to myself and to my friends. During that time, several of my friends reached out to me, saying, "Hey, you haven't been posting your nice things. I don't always 'like' your nice things, but your posts are the only reason that I go on FB anymore. You need to keep doing this for yourself and for us. It reminds us to do nice things for ourselves, too!" So, I started back up. This video has helped validate what I've already been practicing, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my own process here with you kind people. :)
What an amazing video, Nataly! Wishing you prosperity, success, and mountains of blessings and happiness.
Congratulations Nataly. You are an inspiration.
I get every single bit of what you are doing and I appreciate profoundly.
Thank you so much Nataly Kogan!
This was great to watch - loved the story of self exploration and growth - your mom and dad did a great job!
Hi Natasha thank you for this presentation I always say something nice to people,

Really grateful I found your site. Thank you for the positivity in the world right now that’s Fasley changing and I also agree if we focus on the positive positive things happen more often or we noticed them more rather than the opposite have a great day still searching for your Monday peptalk’s can’t figure out how to find them
Listening to live jazz makes me happier.
Thank you so much Nataly
absolutely love this app... came across it when i needed it most: a boost an pickup for life having to much negativity round this year ... and big thanks to Nataly for creating so many smiles around the world!
A wonderful concept and creative delivery. Looking forward to learning happier moments and following Nataly as this story develops!
🧡🙏🏽🧡🙏🏽🧡 Wise and pretty lady with a blessed and handsome family ... Happier for sharing this love : )
Amazing message and inspiring story. Three cheers for Nataly. I love using Happier.
Good talk. A lot of what she mentions is also covered by Shawn Achor (look for "Shawn Achor Happiness Advantage" in UA-cam or the TED site).
Shawn does a good job explaining why being happy makes it easier for you to be successful, and why the opposite, like Nataly going to a good school and having the six-figure jobs, doesn't necessarily lead to happiness.
You've amazed me since we first met and this is just, well, happier than amazed. So proud of you...now can I have this app on my android????
Having dinner with my family at a sit-down resteraunt makes me happier
oh my gosh this is so perfect. :) I love happier so much! It makes me feel good and it reminds me to focus on the little things.
Great talk! Thanks!
Excellent!
Just what i needed
love this app!
Mandy, you are so kind. Android coming in the future, but happier.com is fully up and running:)
Great presentation, Natasha!
Seeing your parents smile at you.
JUST GREAT
Very good !
I love the app :D
This is great but I can't seem to get the free advertising out of my head. And making it an app...that costs money....
Would companies compete to be happier now?
Anyone here from her book?
