It's one thing to change his whole purpose for living, it's an unforgivable one to make him just look like a buff purple Josh Brolin as opposed to in the other films. I still say they also should have kept his multi-colored eyes from the end of Avengers 1

First off, do you remember that Thanos has FIVE out of six infinity stones. He can easily block or absorb the attack and it wouldn’t matter much. Secondly, Vision is significantly damaged meaning he can’t use his powers as well. This isn’t Age of Ultron, Ultron was heavily damaged meaning Vision could easily beat him.
