@japvir3694 TLDR: Yes? No? IDK. Short answer: I picked a high number for dramatic effect. It's never been firmly established how long he fought Dormammu. Considering each loop resulted in his violent death, it likely at least felt like a thousand years, making it relevant for his resistance to torture. As he said previously, "pain is an old friend." The most specific/semi-canonical answer comes from one of the writers, who said, "long enough to gain even more mastery over his powers."
I think I read somewhere that Dr Strange spent a bijillion years in the Dark Dimension to annoy Dormammu so hard that they basically rage-quitted. The problem in this scene is that he didn't set a time-loop, so he can't actually risk to get injured to a specific degree that his mental capacities of taking that pain would run out eventually. So, it's actually serious that he must ensure nobody gets the Time Stone.
3:02 i like the way strange falls here, i feel like in most corny action movies he would go tumbling because everything has been flying around the whole scene but as soon as the vaccuum stops he just drops in place. And even though he's a superhero he is still an old human man so falling from 5 feet onto his rib really hurt him and the grunt he made reflected that.
Yeah, this scene makes no sense. Guy can exert crazy levels of force telekinetically but strangely he doesn't use it to keep himself from flyout into space which in another odd coincidence kills him faster than it would kill a normal human being. Is there a term for the opposite of plot armor? Because this guy got it.

Has anyone noticed that he can't actually fly? He was chasing Strange on a piece of tar and some dirt which obviously was moving telekinetically, which means he cannot fly hence he cannot direct himself unless he is on an object. Plus, he was taken completely by surprise, as he was expecting a fight not a trick, which is what made him be off guard. The vacuum effect did the rest. What I am not sure is if what we see behind Stark at 2:18 is a big glass looking out to space, or a big opening. Because if it is the latter, vacuum shouldn't happen, and they should all be dead. But... hey ho, it's a fantasy movie not a documentary. I mean, they did travel in time after all.

Would have been incredibly funny, if they found out in that moment, that what happened in Alien ressurection with the Alien being sucked out through a tiny hole, is not what realistically happens in that situation, showing that you cant trust movie knowledge! After all we are talking about just 1 bar pressure differential beween normal atmossphere pressure and space. In a big room like the one shown, that far away from the hole, the room could fully depressurize without getting sucked out (especially since there seems to be gravity).
