Aftet buying allll kinds of crazyyy crosses? I have to have ALL the forgettii! I just got a dark form seedling, an offset with hardly any veins, and a few from wuhoo 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ I didnt like them at first and now I love them. I am dying for a red crystal x forgettii cross 😢
I've been in my Hoya & Anthurium era!! I bought a bunch of seedlings & got some free gracile berries with my order a couple weeks ago, and it's just made me impatient for everything I bought to get big and dark :) the other ones I already have are a bit more mature but still not big, so the seedlings are a fun change of pace! ❤😊 I got some wishlist seedlings (besseae aff x lux, a few dark mama x, and a dark papi x lux (so dark already & it's still small!)😍 I've wanted anything with Lux in my collection forever, and saw a great price on hybrid seedlings so I jumped on it!) ❤❤ You have so many beautiful ones ❤
I haven't gotten into lux that much. I was gonna put it's hybrids on this list, but I really prefer to go off personal experience, and I don't have a lot w those ones. But I hear they're easy, just slow growing!
Oh wow Jaclynn those Anthurium are so beautiful and I do agree on taking care of them they do need that humidity and don't forget to water them, I know I don't have the perfect place to have alot of Anthurium and when I do then I will get some for sure, all I have is an Alocasia and I have been watching it so much and making sure I don't not take good care of it because it is so pretty. Thanks so much for another great video to watch, I wish you and David a great week coming and have a beautiful and blessed day today, sending love and hugs, bye!! 😉🙋♀🙏🙏💜💜💞
I finally ordered my first two anthurium on Palmstreet! A Crystallinum and a Veitchii. I’m excited to give them a try! Thank you for helping me feel like I can handle it! 😄
I have definitely started having a love for anthuriums. Since watching the videos you've put out about them ive grown to love them and purchase them. I only have a few and the are small except the no ID one I bought off of palm street. Its a medium size. But i love their velvety leaves. You definitely pulled me over and convinced me. Thats how I feel with all the plants ive grown to like. You helped to build my collection in a good way and i love it. Thats why you are my fav plant tuber💜💜💜💜💜. 🐶🐶🐕🐕
I got a pallidiflorum recently and love it so much! It just got a new leaf and it's growing fast. It has been living on my deck outside. This is my second anthurium. I also have some magnificum seedlings that are growing pretty slow. 🐈No bobcat.
Hi. Loved this video. I've started this year with anthurium they are so beautiful. 😢not splendidum 😂. Its barely surviving. But crystalls, forgetti, pallidiflorum ez for beginners. I purchased from ecuagenera off palmstreet live. Seedlings are easy to acclimate. They have excellent roots. Easier than some philodendron. Again thanks for the plant 💘
I am so happy you did this video. I was wondering what was the best beginner anthurium. I want to learn more about their care as well. I love the way all yours look on your shelves. So far I have one seedling anthurium, Crystallinum x Magnificum. I’m hoping to keep it alive. So far so good. I have had it for a week. 🐶
Agreed! I was gonna put it on the list but didn't 🤷🏻♀️ I've had mine for a while but I wasn't 100% certain on it being easy or not bc I've nearly killed it several times before I figured it out 🤣
Great list! Def have a couple of these… killed a couple… want to try a couple 😂 I also love the clarinervium! I think it’s my fav. Super cute heart shape leaves get me ❤ 🐸
Helpful information that I took away from this video was that anthurium like a lot of fertilizer and that yellowing leaves mean they need more. My bakerii had a few lower leaves that I just recently removed because they were yellowing. Glad I know now!
🦮🦌😺I enjoy the variety in plants. So moving to Anthurium from Houa is just fine. The more varieety the better. I started out with Anthurium plowmanii and Anthurium gracile as inexpensive test plants. They worked so I moved up. The heart leaf varietes like your first examples did not work out well for me. I still have a Crystallinum or a Magnificum. Didn't track name well and the surviving plant is still too small to be sure which it is. Moved from there to the starp Anthuriums which I've had good sucess with. I do have the A. Pallidiflorum. Have had it for just over a year. now. I consider it a slow grower. It has not sized up and I have had issues with deformed leaves.
Hi been awhile since I have been here. Two years ago I meant ved in the Dead of winter. With health issues afterwards I lost 99% of my plants. I am just starting to reclaim my garden inside this winter. Now that most health issues are cleared and my Apt size outdoor patio container garden. Yes please do so I can start adding them as well
I debated about adding an anthurium to my collection, but liked the idea of a new challenge, so I bought one. And then bought another one a week or two later. The first is a clarinervium hybrid and the second is a No-ID. Space is a real issue, so I'm trying to be mindful of that and not start obsessing. That said, I would really like to get a 'Michelle' and also a Luxurians or Lux hybrid. So we'll see how that "not obsessing" thing goes. 🙄
Quite the opposite. Hybrids allow for even more variety, and every seedling looks different because they possess unique DNA. So by nature, none of them are the same unless they're clones 👍🏻
Did not say time was changed. Did the countdown to 3:00, then said something like waiting for person to begin. Obviously if it had said it started at 3:30 I would not have waited watching the screen about 20 minutes before I left.
🌿 Join me on Palmstreet, Monday July 15th at 3:00pm. EDT for Plants & Crystals & Chill! 🌿✨️ Don't miss out! 🌱 palmstreet.app/l/AI3qoPpl
Ok. The pallidiflorum is the third one I’d buy. I do like the long strappy leaves.

Forgetii was my gateway Anthurium 😅
Love the huge leaves on the first one. The silver blush crystal is beautiful. 🤗❤️💚🌱🌿🪴🐶🐈🐅🦌🦒🐘🦎🐍

Yeah! I needed this video and I would love an Anthurium 101 :)

🐎🦒🐞I’m 60% sold!! Maybe once you make your anthurium care video I’ll be brave enough to experiment with a few!! 💚💚
Noted 😅
I love the veitchii leaves and I’d get this one too. I love the ribs.

I'll definitely do a care guide soon! 🥰
I love anthurium and hoya. I’m here for it all. Radicans x Luxurians is also very easy going. It was my first anthurium. ☮️🌻
Agreed! I was gonna put it on the list but didn't 🤷🏻♀️ I've had mine for a while but I wasn't 100% certain on it being easy or not bc I've nearly killed it several times before I figured it out 🤣
I have a silver bush not had it long finally putting out a new leaf hope I can grow it big x
You've got this!
I love all your Anthirium. Especially like the reality dark ones. They're so punk rock 🧡🌿
Agreed! 🖤
Great list! Def have a couple of these… killed a couple… want to try a couple 😂 I also love the clarinervium! I think it’s my fav. Super cute heart shape leaves get me ❤
🐸
🐕 🐶 🐩 these anthuriums are beautiful! Am thinking of trying my hand at one of them
Can't hurt to try! But watch out! They're addicting! 🥰
This was so helpful! Love the anthurium look but didn't know where to even start 🐝
I'm so happy to help! 😊
Will you be posting any of your seedlings for sale? I’m about to buy a little bundle to start my anthurium journey 🥰
Yes! They're on Palmstreet!
Great tip on seeds and seedlings!!
Thanks! Happy to help!
Crysthalinum and pallidiflorum for me!
I needdddda forgettii gorgg
Excellent content! Thank you....🦒 giraffe
Glad you enjoyed it! 🥰
this was helpful, ty :)
You're very welcome! 😊

Jaclynn if you talk about them they will come .....just like the hoya heads the anthurium nerds like me will come too
I had a really nice Claranervium but it got hit with spider mites and I was in the middle of moving. Cue sad trombone 🧡🌿
They're replaceable! 😊

I'm so glad you're doing better! There's always time to re-build a plant collection 🥰
Oh hush! I’ve got like forty Hoya because of you! Lol
Make room for the Anthurium 🤣

I'm incapable of not obsessing 🤣 I bought so many seedlings that really now getting big and I have no clue where I'm gonna grow them all out 🙃
You got me b
Oh and the forgettii. Maybe crossed with the crystallinum.
This a very common cross
So you don’t need a pole or different soil?
No pole, no. And you can pot into whatever medium works for you. The roots just need to breathe!
Maybe black velvet?
Maybe you mean Alocasia and not Anthurium
Elephant 🐘
🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁
I have a black magic?
Never heard of it

I do think that a lot of the crosses we so similar. Not a lot of of variety.

If I got an anthurium it would be the crystallinum. I was told t
It was the easiest anthurium to grow.
Not necessarily the easiest, but it is definitely as easy as all the others this list. It's more about buying what you love and not just what's easy

Went to Palmstreet to wait for your live which was advertised at 3 o’clock Monday. It is now 318 and you are a no-show. Sad!
It was moved to 3:30pm, which it would have said on there. I just finished the sale! 👍🏻
