Wow, I missed this whole thing. Disappointing that it can be missed. I know I looked at the back of the necklace and moved it around a lot. So I am intrigued on what causes it to be triggered. Thanks for sharing!!
I missed this! I think it’s cool that it’s a secret ending but aw man, I wish that they could’ve just made this a plot point 😂 also I’m not crying you’re crying!
I remember looking at it before but i also forgot near the end. I thought the ending I got was WEIRD how they mentioned they wished how they tracked the owners down, Nancy wouldn't have left that unsolved. Even if it was a random painting she found.
Also, odd that Patrice was right there and no one talked to her.

Just finished watching Gab Smolders live stream where she thought Patricie would be the owner but when it wasn't revealed at the end I was curious if there were different endings and found your video 😂🎉 still don't really know what would have triggered it but interesting that you can still solve more mysteries in the game than you may think 😁
I've watched a handful of reviews from other youtubers. Patricie seems to have a different last name depending on who you watch. So far I've seen her last name given as: Novàkovà, Pleski (might have spelt that wrong), & now Vitkovci. Why?
Ok but why should her 'family have never taken it under such circumstances'?? (4:27) If they'd stolen it that's one thing, but as far as I understand it was just a gift from the nobles they sheltered as thanks for helping them, which means it's rightfully Adela's lol. If she feels like giving it back out of generosity that's chill but she should be have no compunction about keeping it

@@GoobaandJetpack I feel like there was a lot of that in this game, in a bunch of minor ways - the logic often felt baffling, like why are they responding like that? why did that statement/discovery lead to this deductive conclusion? why would x lead to y? I enjoyed the game on the whole but always felt like there was something I wasn't getting, like there was some step I missed or piece of the puzzle that would make it all make sense but it just wasn't there
@JavieraScarratt I can see where you’re coming from and we did have a few instances where we couldn’t lead from x to y without filling in some major gaps, but I think most things made sense or were eventually explained. It’s totally possible I’m not remembering fully!
@@GoobaandJetpack Completely agree on the larger stuff! I thought the plot overall was fine, it was more the little things, like during conversations, while doing puzzles, and figuring out the next incremental step to take to progress

Bleh… the trigger for getting the option to even try for a better ending being obscured is so weird. (Slight Spoilers)
What if Danger By Design Heather was fired randomly so only sometimes you’d get the fashionable Nancy pic or like if in Ghost of Thornton Hall they just didn’t have the pieces to build a wagon so you just had to leave people there and that was treated as a valid/true/canon ending??? I have legitimately no idea what the benefits could be to this other than maybe encouraging a second playthrough but if that’s not the trigger then it really should’ve been a guaranteed puzzle like why lock a good ending away behind a puzzle that isn’t even accessible to everyone? Like I get not giving the perfect ending to people who declined the puzzle but it’s not even offered always???
Genuinely curious if there’s any reason to not offer this puzzle to all players as optional for a better ending, did I miss something in game that explains it?
@healgoth I tend to agree with you. I think it should be somewhat easier to trigger. People are actively trying to get this ending and struggling to. I would understand if it was a second playthrough thing, but this feels much more complicated than that. Totally guessing, but it feels to me like they were trying to add some lore - but this isn’t some minor plot point like finding a letter that gives us additional background it’s a major piece of the case.
@@GoobaandJetpack Plus she gets a killer outfit upgrade 😭 she looks so nice with her family’s necklace on too it’s so unfair
EDIT: UGH! And the line about wearing it while cleaning the coffee maker as a sign that she won’t sell it??? Crying. Screaming. Throwing up. She’s playing it cool but this probably meant so much more to her than anyone will ever get to know aaaaa
@@healgoth I was suprised to see her wear it tbh hahaha I thought for sure she was going to sell it and travel the world like she mentioned wanting to do in game. I mean she still could I suppose!
How did you trigger putting the necklace back together? I’ve seen streams where this was skipped all together. It’s a shame this is optional because it really helps tie everything together
I’m honestly not sure how to trigger it. I know you need to look at the back of the necklace. I don’t know if you need to spend a certain amount of time on it or zoom in. I was achievement hunting for a bit when it triggered.
