I don't think that part with the having not a single not-white friend is impressive, where I live for example, in the 3 classes that are in the same year as me, there are probably around 5-7 people that have a migration background, so it's just normal that, if you don't have an absurd amount of friends, you maybe only have white ones. That's how it is for me, in my region. Now, if you only speak about America, I could imagine there are more non-white people there, so the argument probably makes sense.
This test is not amazing. You all are not really looking into the demographics of communities/religious organizations or anywhere you spend most of your time. If I live in a city of mainly white I'm obviously going to have more white than black friends. Alternatively, if I live in a mainly Hispanic or Latino community I'm going to inevitably have more brown friends. 1 + 1 = 2. I would have liked to see you talk about where you live and see the demographics of that community. If you have 72% white friends and 28% black friends yet the demographics show 90% white and 10% other...you could be bending over backwards to make black friends. Dudes! I only really have one friend and he is African American but nobody would call him that because he looks full on 'white'. Such an odd test! Why not choose to do trolley experiment questions? Paul Bloom has done these using race and has found that those who lean right politically are less biased on race than those who lean left. Go figure!
