I wish to be a Vulcan, I know in deep my heart I am a Vulcan, Vulcans are admirable beings: calm and rational. I will deport myself calmly and rationally in the manner of Vulcans. I shall undergo surgery to have my ears adjusted to look more pointy. Outwardly I will look and act in all manners like a Vulcan. It would upset me greatly if someone said I was not a Vulcan.

Its cool to be diffrent apparently, your not sick your just diffrent and want to express your true self. Thats great but I belive you shouldn't be incourgeing a child to be a different gender . Some now are as young as 4 in the USA, I mean at least wait untill the child is 18 years old, I was a tom boy as a young girl, didn't want to be a boy or a lesbian, thank good all this wasn't about then. I belive the parents have a lot to do with it. Also the media. Its just not on. I'm not against people being what ever gender they want to e when they reach 18 years old, even then does an 18 year old really no there own mind , I didn't, I asked my 4 gron up kids that question and they all said no. Maybe the parents wanted the opposite gender child. Ffs maddness to me. Let kids be kids for as long as possiable.

As an autistic woman myself, I find it sad but not surprising that there's an overrepresentation of autistic people who come out as transgender. I wouldn't doubt anyones gender identity in person because I respect people as individuals, but overall in my opinion a big portion of these trans autistic people are likely simply just mistaken. There are SO many factors that can lead an autistic person (at least female, since that's where my perspective is from) to wrongfully assume they're trans.
For one we autists tend to have a pretty poor sense of self - which includes gender. Then there's the lack of social awareness and skills that makes us pretty non-conforming in general, paired with how we often see things "in black and white", which could easily express itself as "well I don't act and feel like a girl... so then I MUST be a boy". Or even seeing the typical super feminine, oversexualized instagram type of model and celebrity and thinking "well every other girl I know wants to be like that, and I don't. So I must be a boy". (Add that to massive amounts of anxiety + the normal teen angst everybody goes through). I've been there myself, I've had those thoughts. But I also had the support to realize that there is no "right" way to be a woman, and that me happening to like more stereotypical male things, and disliking the female sterotypes literally didn't matter at all - those are outside expectations that don't reflect me as a person at all. In my opinion, an individual being autistic is a massive red flag when it comes to being trans and should very thoroughly be looked into.

What also helps is to think about other cultures in the world. Because the fashion and typical appearance of women in various native tribes are very different from Instagram who*es with ugly overdone make-up. And women from native tribes are as much women as women from "civilized" world. Maybe they are even "truer" women because they live the natural way in harmony with nature. Forced oversexualization is just a thing in our culture but it´s not universal.

For anyone contemplating medication: I was abused as a kid, have been psychologically tortured on acid and nearly drowned with my children watching from the beach amongst other odd things. Pills didn't help me get better, just layered a false acceptance over my daily routine. What truly helped me was cognitive therapy as it allowed me to rearrange my memories of those events from the perspective of an adult, and view them from a distance, literally rewriting my brains pathways to remove feelings of guilt into something much healthier - I was unlucky, and yes, things were really shit for a while, but most importantly, it really wasn't my fault.
Watching this made me cry, because so many kids are being messed up, and it's not their fault. Patience is paramount; don't jump towards a simple solution as your brain is not a simple thing.

You always look at the surrounding complications, as you would in a solid argument, to fish out the true basis of the problem. Not being willing to do that is a problem on it's own merit on the part of those who bring that argument to the table.

For adults, I don’t think “free will” holds up. In some cultures there’s been fringe groups of men castrating themselves into eunuchs. That’s an example of people doing what they want to their OWN bodies. What we have instead is medical care providers profiting off of OTHER people’s bodies while providing no medical benefit to them. Actually it’s inducing physical health problems when there wasn’t any.

Konstantin, you asked why the dynamics of those who transitioned had changed in recent times to be girls rather than boys transitioning - girls easily succumb to social contagion - in my youth it was eating disorders - ideas like this spread amongst girls , then for the next generation it was self harm - this is a trend - a fashion if you will . We like to think we are so unique and special when we are a teenager - and currently transitioning is a great way to become very special and popular amongst your peer group. I think it will pass as most fashion trends do , but a sad situation for the girls who have and are being damaged by this trend , thank goodness people like Marcus are speaking out .

At my very liberal high school there weren’t any kids identifying as trans, but within a year of going to college half my gay friends were identifying as trans, especially soft butch lesbians. I understood why because when I went to college and got in touch with the LGBT group, so many lesbians were transitioning that I was frequently assumed to be a trans man, people used male pronouns by default, and asked how long I had been on T when I hadn’t taken any.
I had walked in finally confident that I was a lesbian after years hanging onto the bi label thinking I was just a late bloomer for men (but not women) and feeling completely alienated from female-majority social groups and at ease in male-majority social groups and hated the pain and physical disadvantages of female biology that had no silver lining because pregnancy horrified me and my female body meant most women would not be interested no matter how in shape I am but the more fit I was the more men would want me and I wanted to be a nondescript blob to men as much as they were to me. The idea going around was “this is the new name for our experience. This is what we do now.” Not intentionally coercive, but as a matter of fact observation of the social norm. As more and more women who had spoken as proudly butch lesbians started testosterone, then even conventionally feminine women identifying as men, just being a plain ol’ lesbian made you the odd one out, and the more your peers adopt this new framework, you doubt more and more your own framework.
Some people just latch onto an incorrect explanation and switch to the correct one on exposure or greater reflection, as I did when I realized I had mislabeled myself as bi throughout my teenage years before accepting being lesbian. People are equally capable of latching onto multiple incorrect or ultimately unsatisfying explanations. But at least misidentifying your sexual orientation doesn’t restrict your adult sexual behavior in any way, as mis-identifying gender can lead to permanent sexual dysfunction when affirmation and a medical path are taken. If a teen identifying as gay meant that if they later realized they were bi or straight that as an adult they would have difficulty having fulfilling heterosexual sex (or vice versa with a gay kid identifying as straight), then I would strongly discourage that.

It's spreading more amongst girls than amongst boys not because girls are less resilient than boys, it's because there's less benefits in pretending to be a girl. Boys aren't convinced being a girl is all that great when being male clearly is an advantage. Eating disorders where widespread and still are, not because girls are impressionable, but because pressure to be thin is on girls and girls only. Regarding self-harm, this is very well documented, when boys are disturbed they tend to take it out on others, when girls are distributed, they tend to take it out on themselves. Bollocks to this idea that girls are more impressionable.

Again they give the same answer they are taught in the Universities. Most of their bathrooms are open to everyone - there is no gender specific bathroom. Look on UA-cam and you will see people going around at Universities interviewing students and asking questions that get some of them stumped as to what to answer and then the next question leads on from there - in a logical sequence - and these kids just get stumped or give a pat answer because THEIR beliefs make no logical sense. Ask them what gender you are and they look at you like, "uh oh." I want to know what women and men would think if a woman took off her top on a hot day on campus - like guys do - when on a lunch break or studying under a tree an see what people say. I'd be willing to bet most of these people simply wish to help those who are suffering, and have been misled into believing it's kind to tell those who are uncomfortable with their personal, biological, immutable reality as mammals that they can alter their sex at will. Respectfully, in Wiemar there was the Magnus Hirschfeld Institut für Sexualwissenschaft (Institute for Sexuality Studies) which was doing "research" about the kinds of things discussed in the video above, and far worse, like doing adult things with children. And they were rather open about it. There was understandably popular revulsion at this, and the "institute" attempted to lend the veneer of academic legitimacy to it all. This was one of the reasons why the NSDAP gained grassroots support and was popularly elected in Germany. People were tired of the undermining and open mockery of their culture, morality and way of life, and weren't given a voice in the popular media

At least when we look at the history of East Germany we can grasp to understand what popping hormones like Gummibärchen can do to someone. There is a significant amount of health issues in the former East German athletes (especially in women) who got all sorts of hormones to make them win against their western counter parts (without their knowledge of course, as they were only given "vitamins"). Those women and even their children are heavily effected by this to this day.

There’s an article in the _Spectator_ on a guide produced by the Dentons law firm for NGOs advancing their “transgender agenda.” You can also just look up the Dentons document itself. It advises pro-trans groups to avoid media coverage when they can help it, avoid public scrutiny, and focus on attaching their desired policies to larger, more popular measures.
In Canada and Australia, laws are being passed that ban “gay conversion therapy,” but in reality they punish therapists for even questioning a child’s belief that he or she is trans. Activists have equated one’s sexual orientation-which most agree is virtually impossible to change-with one’s “gender identity,” which no one can even adequately define and which the same activists also believe is fluid.
Like you, I remain shocked by the hold of this “movement” over society’s institutions. I think these tactics are part of the puzzle.

talking as a transgender person who does not subscribe to this ideological wave: it's the power of moral blackmailing. i suspect it's a two way perverse pact: i (minority) ask for what ive always wanted by weaponizing my (often true) historical status as a victim; on the other hand i (mainstream society) feel powerful by accepting my status as a tyrant (all rebellion is a form of worship) and in addition i get the chance to be both extremely powerful and extremely good, if i welcome their requests. minorities have the power to make the mainstream society feel like they are God. Must give quite a kick in times of cultural, environmental, political decay. But this is the weak point of moral blackmailing: you can make someone stronger than you feel guilty as long as they consent to it. Someday, and the day is getting closer, the majority will reach their limit of tolerance. Then there will be a backlash and it will go down hard. As a transgender person I'm very worried about the next decades.

Society and public discourse has become dominated by "feelings" and what people say they feel - spot on. In theory, yes, we should be able to talk and act (and make decisions) from the heart as well as the mind, as Marcus Evans rightly urges. The problem is that people increasingly take their "feelings" to be fact, and believe what they feel "is objective". So this also needs to be highlighted: how to enable people (children, teens and adults, whatever their age) to discern between feeling and critical thought.

@@johntracey3502 Hi. The most salient point for me was regarding the notion of doubt. If there is no doubt in the trans persons' mind, they are probably making a mistake. This is something I was acutely aware of and battling before I transitioned and in cases where people have no doubt, or those around them have no doubt, there is likely to be a problem.
This goes much more for children. I don't have an specific age cut off in mind, but I do believe that there is a sliding scale of stupidity when it comes to the younger children being given blockers.
There are no longitudinal studies that support this treatment that I can see and while many trans people wished they didn't have to go through the hell of puberty retrospectively, it seems myopic to take this view prospectively, since there's no way the individual can know how they will feel once this starts.
I'm also very much against most trans activism, the victim mentality and the way certain notions have become doctrine within institutions.
Lastly, I'm not into self-ID - there should be very thorough vetting at a psychological and family level before a formal diagnoses and treatment should be given. In a limited sense, I'm a biological essentialist with a hypotheses about the aetiology of the condition, rather than a social constructionist, as in my youth.

And he admited in another interview he has watched drag queen shows since he was 2 or 3 years old, so he was obviously brainwashed into this sh*t. He was also dancing in the club in front of some perverts who put money into his pants. The owner of the club called the police because of this.

      @@Mysikrysa thanks.
I actually talked about the concept of anxiety and escapism to her tonight. She thought about it, then concluded on her own that she thinks that is what is happening to her as she has anxiety and PTSD.
She realised that she is trying to find an easier way to cope than going through the hard stuff.
I explained everything that I know, both psychologically and medically, about this transgender thing and she said she never wanted to have surgery...
Now could you imagine what would have happened if I'd been one to encourage her to embrace those ideas instead of giving her more information and looking at other reasons for her feelings and thoughts?

What a great man is Marcus Evans! What a pleasure to listen and learn from him.
I went recently to a small concert. Later i found out that all the money they raised was for Mermaids Gender. If i had known beforehand, i wouldn't have paid for a ticket at all. A big percentage of young people under the age of 30 that I know, are enamoured with the idea of supporting the transitioning of kids.
I've been digging deep into the trans agenda and it's very dark. We need more people like Marcus giving tools to parents.

This politicization of the NHS has been going on for some time, probably way longer than I suspect; I saw it back around 12 years ago where we had to do mandatory yearly training; the mandatory training was called 'Clinical Governance'. Part of the training included questions about staff/patient dynamics, and, not understanding what was going on at the time, it irked me that they were kind of telling you how you should feel about others' religious beliefs, sexual orientation, race, gender etc. What got on my nerves was the underlying implication that staff were potentially mistreating patients (consciously or unconsciously) based on those categorizations because of personal prejudices; but as far as I could see, staff around me treated patients pretty well and with dignity, irrespective of their 'labeled' identity. It just irritated me that the organization was implying that I might be treating other people less well because of their identity and that it was the NHS's job to tell me how I 'should' be thinking.
To me, they were trying to interfere with my whole moral framework, yet they were simply my employer and I was providing my services to them as an employee and that is where I felt it was supposed to end. It was one of the things that made me want to leave the NHS which I eventually did. But it is only in the last few years with all this focus on intersectionality that I now understand what was going on back then. I knew nothing about political ideals back then, but just on a purely personal basis, it felt as though they were overstepping the mark. It was almost like a religion with the pastor telling you what is right and wrong and why you must adhere to it; it felt so intrusive, like they were the arbiters of my value system. Serious alarm bell were ringing back then.

I worked in clinical governance for years...the topics for mandatory training are taken from the statutory training you are required by law to undergo e.g. health and safety...others are from the themes emerging from complaints investigations and incident investigations...these themes may well be different in your area than mine so topics may be slightly different for you...

I can't imagine what would my life be like if I made a mistake and transitioned or if I did something with my hormones and later regreted... My life would be a living hell. Some autistic children have this temporary disphoria, people should be aware of that and don't let their children do something they could regret in the future!

I honestly think that a lot of what today is seen as gender dysphoria is nothing more than young people going through puberty. I'm not saying it does not exist but that many are misdiagnosed with it.
In so many cases it seems they don't take the proper time to look into what is going on with young people but just go with how they feel in this or that way and they get stamped as having gender dysphoria and boom there you go.

Thanks for this really interesting interview, and bravo to Marcus and his wife for standing up on this. I'm a member of the British Psychological Society and there is often a debate about whether psychologists should have the ability to prescribe medication in the way psychiatrists do. I hope it never happens because I've seen firsthand how parts of the psychological profession are politicised and subject to groupthink. It seems to me that GIDS was heavily politicised and deferred to the opinions of ideological lobby groups (often masquerading as charities) rather than following hard evidence. Extremely limited research with poor methodology was used to justify an ideology. It's no wonder psychology struggles to be seen as a science.

We just suffered a limitation on abortion here in the USA. So a grown woman, whose baby is suffering a fatal illness, would die shortly after birth unless she died before birth, and she wasn't permitted to get an abortion. How can these two ideas coexist?
