I am in Woke Washington as well and my daughter went through the trans cult phase when she was 12-15. She’s 17 now and cringes at all of that nonsense that she believed when she was younger. Ironically enough, she wants to major in Biology in college. These poor kids are fed lie after lie and it’s so sad that grown adults are falling for it, too. We went through two very affirming therapists and my daughter would be on testosterone and have her body cut up if I listened to them! Thank god I trusted my gut and my sanity over their delusions and saved her from harm. We never used pronouns and never used her stupid new name. We were her reality! Shame on these other parents who are afraid to be parents and set boundaries for their kids. Get them off their phones and back in real life. Make them get a job. Screens are raising these kids and doing so much harm that will take years to repair. I thank god every day that we came out of this unscathed. Thank you Tamara for your bravery! Please don’t give up. There are thousands of parents who need therapists like you who are sane and believe in science and biology not wokism and inclusion. We’ll be cheering you on! 🙏🏼

@trw02121 - You did well by her, and she did well too. Glad she's only left with embarrassment - although not easy to bear, it's so much better than early menopause, deep voice, facial and bodily hair not wanted, osteoporosis, inability to enjoy sex and infertility - I can NOT imagine what living with even just one of those awful consequences might feel like.

@@Wendyj55 She was in an LGBTQ friend group at the time and one girl has been taking testosterone and has a male voice now. They work together and she now goes by a boy’s name and the workers all have to tiptoe around accidentally misgendering her. I hate how they all try to control our language and tell us what to call them. I just avoid people like that all together. They can live in their fantasy world. Congratulations for your demonstration of strength, dignity, common sense and determination on protecting your daughter. Without paranoia, I’d encourage you to stay vigilant. This wretch cult still has extremely strong grasp in colleges and universities, hospitals, clinics, etc.
But that said, it is fantastic you and your daughter and family don’t have to navigate her circumstances, had she gone through surgeries and extreme pharmaceutical interventions.
I find Washington State physically beautiful, but the social pressures on young people just terrible. They deserve to grow, learn and explore life - and develop all-important life skills - without the hyper-sexualized trans cult.
Take good care & best wishes!💫

I have worked with 2 brilliant therapists both of whom identified me as having gender dysphoria ( I do ) and yet neither pressured me to transition or pushed me to take any medical steps towards a sex change. They simply continued working with me on my PTSD. At 54 I am finally comfortable in my female body. I am certain had I not grown up in 1970’s that I would have been talked into mutilating my body by the gender-ideology-cult. I have had several heterosexual female friends who are mothers say they were tomboys who also would have transitioned at 12. Giving sex changes to children will one day be seen as the horror show it is. God bless this brave young woman for having the integrity to fight for what’s right. First do no harm !!!

This was true for my now-adult child's gender therapist. She didn't push. She gave information when my kiddo asked for it but kept herself very neutral while remaining supportive. Nobody coerced my child into socially transitioning, then deciding to do so chemically. We researched extensively beforehand and spoke with two pediatric endocrinologists. Kiddo absolutely bloomed post-transition. There have been no regrets.
Being nonjudgmental and holding things gently helps kids sort out gender stuff. Freaking out and pushing back causes serious distrust. As this woman mentions, her client let the dog idea go. This is normal. Many, many kids play with gender. It's not a big deal.
NO therapist should go into a case with a pre-conceived idea of "the best outcome" that does not involve the client's buy-in. It sounds as if this woman had no training and didn't want any.
This "whistleblower" seems fine discussing her former minor clients in public. Talk about a red flag. I would not recommend her to anybody. Ongoing training is to keep therapists aware of best practices, which is absolutely important. Her refusal to listen is clear.

@@rachaelikthe "whistleblower" was actively seeking to understand "the process", was being shut down, dismissed, told to follow blindly..the red flags lay squarely with an ideology that umbrella's a diversity of clients, many who are coming from vastly different motivations.
Trans is a bug, not a feature..it is very rare, not common..this whistleblower had every right to question, as we all do.
The trans friends I knew who went through this in the late 80's early 90's went through rigorous psyche evaluation before they medically transitioned.. whereas today "best practice" may exist randomly in some clinical settings, but I can assure you most clinical settings aren't currently.
My f2m "nephew" was rushed through medical transition at 15..along with 2 other classmates, also f2m..what are the odds?
1 has detransitioned, 1 has self harmed many times & my nephew appears reasonably ok, despite finding difficult to find a healthy accepting relationship.
This is a massive sweeping trend in the West & fraught with issues that need to be tested..it also is 💯 an ideology.

Many of the older ones are excited at the novelty, finding these client stories 'refreshing' because most other stories have all been heard before by experienced people.
Quite a few have literally said some variation of "I was going to retire, but now therapy has got interesting again, like how it was when I first qualified and every client was fresh & new & intense & growthful experience"

I’m in Oregon with my 14yo girl and we’re leaving. I found out last school year they were social transitioning her without my knowledge (let alone consent) and I was furious. They put all these kids into UA-cam when they were doing online schooling and from there it’s taken off. So much negative influence to be found with no parental controls. The idea that you can’t question a child’s motivation but can only affirm is such a crock. How can any therapy even occur? At this point I don’t know that there’s anywhere safe for us to be to weather this phase in her life, and it is a phase.
It’s exhausting. Thank you for having a voice of reason. I wish I could’ve found someone here.

My ex-wife graduated from Reed College and later worked there and I was around SJW weirdos all the time. I never met a normal trans person there, like one that seemed like they were actually trying to live and pass as the gender they identified as, instead they were always creepy non-binary folk or dudes who used she/her pronouns but looked like drag rejects. They didn't have a clue what an actual woman was.

Jesus can you imagine a child comes in shoeing pictures of violence etc and are barely verbal and how the hell does that even relate to testosterone. T doesnt make you a dog! A disabled child. A traumatised child. A child potentially showing signs of abuse if they're showing pictures of a wounded dog. Like its common for abused kids to identify with dogs especially even eat dog food off the floor... right? And sexual ideation is often a sign of sexual abuse or exposure to porn etc causing trauma. Im not even a therapist but this is the first thing i would think if a child came to me and showed me sexualised pictures of animals being harmed. What has testosterone got to do with anything here? At 13? Non verbal? What the actual f? I mean is there not protocol in place that if a child shoes these kind of signs they would have for example speech therapy? They would have some sort of investigation into possible abuse? An autism diagnosis and autism spectrum therapy, before even establishing anything else? Thats just insane.

This is one of the biggest reasons why the overuse of antibiotics and other pharmaceuticals is a tragedy the medical community is complicit in provoking. However, well people are n9t profitable, so they came up with a billion dollar industry to sell magic pills to turn boys into girls and girls into boys which makes them life long pharmaceutical addicts.

I assumed these were exaggerations as we are also a very religious region and this same parents group lobbied against sexual health education in our highschools during the early 2000s and we've always had a rebellious youth punk scene, I assumed if there was any truth to it, these were rebellious kids reacting to being born in the place Footloose was set. Not only is it extremely traumatic to the body they now need to take drugs for the rest of their life which is in itself exhausting and unpredictable btw the body may end up rejecting and even fighting against the drugs creating complex issues, among other things I am respectfully not mentioning here look it up. I will withhold further comment for the sake of people that have had the surgeries, I pray you are well and strong we are with you, we want the best for you, however we want to protect the youth from harm that is clear and evident. If you are well please let us know , but if you are suffering please for the sake of the youth come forward and protect them. I get that the participants are trying to get across how vicious trans activists are to even the most docile people, but the way they kept mentioning how soft spoken Tamara is also has the effect of reinforcing the idea that being “nice” should garner empathy and respect. Women like KJK have been bashed mercilessly for telling it like it is, most of all by other women. We’re just not used to that and we need more of it. It’s horrifying to me that we’ve come to a place where people don’t see an extremely damaging and fallacious situation and point it out in black and white. We all want to be open-minded but being like, “These people want me to affirm a child who identifies as a wounded dog and I’m not sure if I’m justifiably alarmed; is it just me?”… how is there any confusion? There’s a ton of gaslighting so people are made to think they’re exceptional when most people agree with them, but we have to snap out of it and be the adults in the room. Thankfully many like Tamara have done just that. This seems to be most common among women thanks to gendered conditioning but more generally, we have traded common sense for a warped version of so-called politeness. Some things are flat out crazy and we should all say so without hesitation.

I'm doing neurofeedback therapy now and it has been absolutely life changing. I've tried therapy a few times with mixed results (one therapist made things worse) but with neurofeedback therapy my OCD, ADHD, anxiety and depression are all but GONE! I can't believe how effective it's been after a lifetime of searching for help. Contrary to what Sasha says, there is plenty of evidence showing its efficacy and it's been around for decades. Make sure you find a certified practitioner of course, there are charlatans out there just like anything. But they don't "stimulate" you with the electrodes. They put a cap on your head with some gel and then you watch TV and that's it! It's so easy! I wish i would've have done this a long time ago - my life would have been completely different. I can't even explain how good i feel - i feel like a new person. I highly recommend it - it is literally the best thing I've ever done for my mental health!

    • @nargissmouatta
      @nargissmouatta Місяць тому +6

Totall agree on Neurofeedback therapy. It’s the best treatment modality out there, but the outcome of the treatment highly depends on the skill level of the neurofeedback therapist. Ideally you want to work with someone with a solid understanding of neuroscience. This isn’t the first time Sasha has said something incorrect, such as denying that there is a neurological basis to ADHD, or not understanding how DID/OSDD work. I don’t even think she believes it’s a real disorder, despite the neuroscientific evidence behind this diagnosis as well (no it’s not literally multiple personalities, but the fragmentation of the psyche does genuinely happen, and you end up with severe dissociative amnesia, along with behaviors and a sense of self that are inconsistent across the non-integrated parts of the psyche). All of this denial of neuroscience-based understanding of mental disorders, and a “talk therapy can fix everything” attitude really hurts her credibility in my opinion.

There are very low level versions of bio-feedback that already earlier generations knew about, and taught as "household tricks". The most common one is the breathing into a paper bag.
15-20 years ago I got interested in this and used a heart rate monitor to train myself to be able to deal with a phobia of steep stairs/climbing (not heights, mainly the act of descending). I should have done more of it, but it already helped so much to know that if I can get my body to not panic that crippling shake-inducing dread will also go away.

No hearing should ever go ahead without the defendant bringing forward opposing expert testimony. And if this is just an internal professional body hearing where they refuse to allow your opposing expert testimony threaten them directly with legal action for abuse of children. Further more if they do allow your opposing expert testimony but still rule against you still sue them anyway. Make the process the punishment just as much as they will try to use that tactic. To be honest their time is running out with the Wpath files and the Cass report so the fact is they are showing willful neglect of minors. Make it clear when the truth is out in the USA and all around the world you will continue to expose their abuse and willful neglect. It's clear you have been providing them with documented evidence for concern.

I was taught that "who you are" ie your identity is based on your morals. As someone with BPD that has processed a lot of my issues, I think they're fixating on the concept of "gender" as what I call an identity template, where one uses a concept in place of their identity as they're figuring themselves out. Usually, these are more like cliques, but this is to a whole new level. If identity is a fluid mental concept, medicalizing children with permanent procedures is not the answer.

I will admit I am obsessed with this subject and trying to work out why THIS subject obsessed me in particular.
I am also fascinated in the political dissection of early 20th century political movements on the TIK History channel.
What I am listening to here is clearly a "take over". I began my obsession after coming across Jordan Peterson's tortured rants to camera in the wee hours when he challenged bill C16 in 2016 (compelled speech legislation regarding gender).
Stella exclaimed in this video "feels Soviet", having learned the ideological pedigree of National Socialism, Fascism and Marxism I have to concur with James Lindsay's conclusion - this is a political movement that it's adherents have no insight into.
This is a warped outgrowth of a quasi religious cult that manifested itself in the totalitarian European political movements of the early 20th century.
This is so reminiscent of National Socialist Germany during the 1930s and 40s. During those dark years people of conscience were similarly repressed. The ideology expelled hundreds of thousands from their homelands.
I am concerned, people like this poor women are being ejected to satisfy a morbid appeal for sanitation. Germany's political revolution began with an obsessive cleansing.
They started with the factories and it took a few years but the moved onto the disabled and other sectors of society that irritated the shadow aspects of ideology.
Instead of sanitation I believe this neurosis entered the political realm through Occupational Health and Safety.
A friend is damaging their feet having to wear "safety" boots, ironically the HR department is similarly dogmatic - these are for safety if they are damaging you you are at fault.

This is rediculous. When i was a teenager i was in therapy for extreme anxiety atacks, i cant immagine if i walked in and said i feel like im dieing and they just affirmed me and said well done you know who you are and yes you are gonna die. The therapist had to work through the issue presented (anxiety attacks) and get to the roots of whats causing it. Same thing here, if a person in therapy says they are a wounded dog (or male or female etc) they need to see that as the presenting issue that needs to be resolved by getting deeper and finding whats causing those feelings. Ignoring the most obvious issue and affirming it means the rest of the therapy is useless

Tamara's story reminds me of what's happening to (Australian) psychiatrist Dr Jillian Spencer, who is another quietly spoken 'least likely to be a whistleblower' type of person. Dr Spencer has been removed from her role for being 'harmful' and is also under investigation by shameless ideologues who are bent on destroying the livelihoods of any questioners.
Australia seems further gone that most other countries, which is not widely known. The health minister has declined to learn from any of the systematic reviews of evidence (or Dr Cass's report), and "has played down its local relevance by citing differences in pathways to treatment." (From journalist Bernard Lane's excellent substack, Gender Clinic News).
Riiiight… so Australian children are so different from other children that they need different treatment and evidence be damned! Meanwhile, i "Under Victoria's 2021 Change or Suppression (Conversion) Practices Prohibition Act, taking active steps to stand in the way of any person's desire - even a child's - to affirm their new gender is an illegal conversion practice (subject to up to 10 years in jail for cases of serious injury." (From the Sydney Morning Herald).
Tamara, you are right; not only will your children be proud of you, we are all proud and grateful for what you are doing. I join Sasha in saying that in 5 years you will be seen as correctly trying to help children, and if you can piece things together until then you will be able to have an amazing career doing the therapy I'm sure you're very good at.
In answer to why so many intelligent people fall into blind acceptance of gender ideology, I wonder whether it's that some people are invested in looking good by being seen to do good out in the world (eg, are at a lower level of psycho-emotional development, which functions independently of intelligence), whereas others (like Tamara) who see the harm in practicing ideologically are more mature in that domain, and genuinely want to centralise the needs of their patients over their need for validation. In other words, they don't park their curiosity, training, and logical capacities in order to be seen as a hero (aka, they allow themselves to become 'useful idiots' to a larger/darker agenda).

A go fund me should be set up for this brave woman.
There are so many people out there that would love to be given the opportunity to show their support for someone they've been waiting for to come along and actually stand up to this insanity. Please start a go fund me so that we feel as if we can contribute

8:18 Stella says that “to agree with a person who says they identify as a wounded male dog is to collude with the dehumanizing…” Yes. Not many years ago, psychiatrists said we should never ever validate the delusions of people with schizophrenia. How is this “identification” with an utterly delusional state any different? While the dysphoric individual is unlikely to bite us (unless they suddenly believe they have a case of rabies) and the schizophrenic person might act violently on their delusion, hurting themselves or others, I fail to see any distinction.

Agreed. And dysphoric people are hurting society. In particular transwomen (biological men) are hurting biological women by going into women's spaces (ie sports, bathrooms, women's prisons, women's awards etc).
Also there was a recent incident in Pennsylvania where a transgirl (biological boy) brutally assaulted a biological girl at a grade school. This "transgirl" also had a hit list of biological girls they wanted to assault.

Yeah, I was psych RN and we weren't supposed to go with their delusions because it was actually more harmful to the patient. I've had patients claiming to be "God" or "Jesus." Should we just go with it??😳

Yes my thoughts too. When those in psychosis identify as God and they demand to be worshipped are these therapists going to oblige?

I wish I could hire you as my daughter's therapist. She doesn't like teletherapy, so that's not really an option. I bet if you moved to a different state, you wouldn't have so many restrictions. I definitely understand that isn't a reasonable option for everyone though.

THIS topic was one of the main reasons I discontinued my masters program to become an LMFT... knowing that my moral compas was going to be a reason I could lose my license. What we are doing to our children is going to be a historical time we reflect on and see how horrific it is.

I'm glad you have whistleblowers in mental health, but you need some financial whistleblowers. Insurance carriers are being ripped off, and hospitals need to supervise doctors who prescribe hormones or surgery without a comprehensive mental health evaluation and treatment. Any life altering elective surgery requires adherence to medications, follow up and the presence of mind to monitor himself for complications and report danger signs promptly.

This is awful. It reminds me of that young male doctor who also has been subject to a BS HIPPA investigation when he never identifies individual patients. How is the public supposed to learn about what is going on???

I'm shocked at how quickly this has happened in our society. What a hard thing for you to go through,Tamara! One day your children are going to realize that their mother is a caring, loving person who also happens to be a hero and they, undoubtedly, will follow suit. My husband and I are older and not able to be in the middle of the "battle," but we say "thank you, thank you" on behalf of our 9 grandchildren and all the other children who are being used by the woke agenda to accomplish their insane goals.

Why is gender "affirming care" with no questions asked, being pushed so hard by medical establishments? Does it have to do with generating revenue for hospitals by having a new area of possible life long medical care open up? Does wall street invest in it?

    • @sahriestar
      @sahriestar 18 днів тому

It doesn't generate money for hospitals. It's part of the spiritual war.

there are legal whistleblower protections in certain contexts, they are retaliation protections from your employer for reporting a crime or participating in a civil proceeding (protected activities) which means actively keeping your job (vs resigning) until they fire you is a key component. There are also often specific whistleblower protection laws for government employees. The word is also used just to mean someone who reports unethical actions but it would be wise for us in the gender world to get savvy about how to keep your legal whistleblower protections. For example if Tamara had filed a lawsuit against her employer that she shouldn't have to do the training or write the letter I think she would be protected in my state at least. Then the employer is prevented from firing you or taking "adverse action" against you. YMML talk to a lawyer but it seems like something gender critical activist orgs should be learning about.
