Once again, another cracking film. You certainly picked what looked to be a lovely night. That curry looked tasty as hell. Another camp cook masterclass. Your upcoming Scotland adventure is going to be an epic. I can't wait for that series. You will both smash it. John.
Another high quality video that will make everyone very hungry. You have a very good eye for nature and know how to capture it clearly on video. I really liked it again! 👍 Thank you for taking us with you.
@@greyhikes5236 even better... i love the idea of doing all the prep at camp... but taking the chicken pre marinated... id accept for the point of flavour... cheers
That curry looked fab and took a while to cook! I wouldn't have the patience on the trail but I was envious for sure looking at you cook it. I'm out for an Indian tonight for sure now! Getting very good with your cinematic scenes! That cooking system looks great but takes up a lot of space in your rucksack I expect? Looks like we may cross paths on the CWT. I'm planning on leaving May 4th from the Cape. See you on the trail!
All in the preparation with the curry, basically make sure you pack everything you need! 😅 The trangia is a great wee stove, I only use it for overnight wild camps but will be just the thing for summer weekend camps. That's great Iain, we start 7th from Fort William so will definitely cross paths, will be keeping our location up to date on here 👍
Was there? No I'm not monetized pal, miles away from that lol. Bit disappointing that as I hate adds. 🤔 Will have to look into that as I thought you have to qualify 🤷♂️
@@theMisadventuresofaLittleWolf I've never noticed as I use premium thanks for letting my know but 8 adds in a 30 min video no wonder my impressions are bad 😧😅 I shall do a wee bit of research 👍
@@theMisadventuresofaLittleWolf that is interesting. I've raised a ticket but I does say they can if they want to 🤷♂️ I will ask on my next video if anyone else is having the same issue 👍
I would try to hike your planned tour next month with the ASTA GEAR Yun Chuan 2. This tent will probably become much more popular this year and will therefore generate more attention and more clicks and subscribers as well! 😊👍
Would be nice to get a bigger audience but I'm in the grind just now and I'll keep going until the algorithm breaks or I do 😅 Yeh I think the NORTENT VERN 1 is the new big thing now 😉
@@greyhikes5236 maybe you are right. But 500 Dollar + duties for the NORTEN Vern 1 is pretty spicy. At least for me. For example, I prefer to buy a new tent every 3 years in the middle price segment instead of spending 700+ euros on a tent that I will then use for maybe 5-6 years. But everyone is different and not everyone's budget is the same. There aren't that many videos of the ASTA GEAR Yun Chuan 2 tent on tour or in practical use here on this platform. For me, this tent is currently the best offer in terms of price and performance ratio. You can only use the outer tent as shelter. I intend to do this when fishing, for example, since night fishing with a tent is forbidden in Germany. In Germany, a tent is only considered to be a tent if it has a floor. This is not the case with the ASTA GEAR Yun Chuan 2 tent becauseyou can takeout the inner tent. Therefore it is a great option. I believe that the hype surrounding the tent is likely to continue this season, especially since not everyone can or perhaps doesn't want to pay the price of DURSTON x-mid.
@@roastntoast7550 yes absolutely, I've got a few niggles with the inner to iron out but it will be going with me, the ability to just throwing it up as a tarp tent a big bonus. The rain in Scotland can be horrendous at times and being able to through it up quickly will be a god send 👍
@@greyhikes5236If you had made a video with the title "Durston x-mid 2 buster or killer ASTA GEAR Yun Chuan 2" you would probably get a few thousand views in a blink of an eye ! 😂... im just kidding! 😅
Which stove do you want to take with you on your big route next month ? The trangia? I use a camping multi fuel stove and a titanium wood stove ( like bushbox or firebox) for long tours as these fuels are available almost everywhere. By the way, thanks for including your video equipment in the video description! 😊👍
I have a titanium mug that fits the gas canister and I use the MSR pocket rocket. When you watch my Cape Wrath videos you will see why I have that system instead of jetboil types. 😉
