One of the biggest mysteries in gaming right now is inside Cyberpunk 2077 and it's FF:06:B5.
It has come to my attention that some of my friends believe that FF06B5 was this huge quest that existed in the game since launch. In this video, we cover the truth about FF06B5 and even throw in 2 new theories.

I think its a half finished plotline, one that borders around the supernatural themes that the game keeps hinting about, monks, souls, extraterrestrials, i believe they did not have time to flesh it out and we just got snippets like this mystery
If a supernatural aspect is added in it could be interesting. I don't know how it would work in practice as Cyberpunk is about technology
Cpr uses tarot as landmarks or rather narrative wayponints on player journey. Blending meanings and symbolism from older traditions to cybernetic world of the future.
I disagree. This is called passive world building. Like the shards you find in the NPCD scanner missions, this tells a different story. People shouldn't treat everything as "cut content". This kind of mystery also known as ARG has been around before the launch of the game, and some other games have similar a thing as well.
@@orbit1894i disagree, because Pawel Sasko keeps saying they had a lot more content that did not make in just about every district, this passive world building you speak its the tarot, the monk bd’s but the mystery we are speaking off in the video, if you cared to watch it all, is half baked like content that was cut but was interesting enough to hint at

Fire is seen as a thing, like humanity, that has both a physical and spiritual place and purpose in the world (not to task, more like how they be). Everything running on electricity does not violate the laws of science, or the esoteric and alchemical canons. They are parts of the same thing with divesting narratives
I just re-read the Neuromancer, and in it, the AI Wintermute and Neuromancer are represented in the Net as cubes.
That's interesting. The only Neuromancer easter egg I found was the ending of the Delamain questline.
You're right tho. Wintermute/Neuromancer is represented as a cube. I wonder if that's what "It Sees You" is all about.
Fun fact Cube also means time 4 dimensions, Oroboros is eternity in many religions and cultures gold is used as a sign of godhood or ascension a worship of self essentially and whole point of mikoshi is araska's attempt to live forver/eternity/all time.
Would be interesting if the code that you find that causes you to glitch out is a backdoor into mikoshi which is why you just start to die like an attempt at a remote soul killer.
If I recall correctly, the synesthesia V suffers during the Devil ending is also magenta.
I believe this is true too.
And the Moon during thaat cutscene is also magenta.
I bet that in the upcoming years, after FF06B5 mystery has been unveiled, everyone's minds are gonna be blown.

I find it contextually interesting that the color of Magenta does not have its own wavelength on the color spectrum but relies instead upon a physiological/psychological combination on behalf of our human brains to perceive it .... perhaps meaning that humans overall can be easily led to believe whatever a controlling entity wishes to filter.

Find it even more interesting that johnnys memories lie to us during the game about the events that happened at arasaka towers I wonder if this has anything to foreshadow that whole plot that goes over most players heads cus they don't know the source material

I don't think there's going to be a "matrix" installment - it doesn't mesh with the way Mike Pondsmith has described how cyberpunk as a genre works for him. It's not about transhumanism, it's about how people interact with technology - described most succinctly in the line from Neuromancer: "The street finds its own use for things". It's about how regular people react to technology we can see existing in fifty years.
Bearing in mind Mike Pondsmith is very much involved with CDPR and the game itself I really can't see them saying "KTHXBAI" and then running away into a Matrix-like story.
FF:06:B5 is really not much more than a head tilt and a nod to the players, literally. It's a fourth wall break designed to say "thank you, you're all very clever" to the fans who kept pushing into it for three years. I wouldn't consider it "canon", or that the setting is actually already virtualised after an extinction level event.

Completely agreed, although while I don’t think it’s like, “canon” in the sense that, in the canon of cyberpunk, they’re are not literally living in a Matrix like scenario or anything, but I do think it’s canon in the sense that, what we see happen in game does actually happen, but it’s just like a weird phenomenon type thing in universe, some character in this universe did canonically get blipped out of existence after discovering some weird unexplained phenomenon that linked it to “our world”. As a long time deep lore elder scrolls fan, there’s a similar concept to the fourth wall break stuff that’s written into the lore that does a similar like, “this is a fourth wall break and a poke and nod hinting at the universes being connected with an ingame reference to the player, but in the canon of the elder scrolls that doesn’t affect anything to them it’s just this like mystical natural phenomenon that in universe is explained through like godly, divine stuff, as opposed to if this is the route they end up explaining it (or leaving it to fans to come up with their own rationalisation for it) what i imagine would be a more like sci-fi type explanation, a weird blip in the fracture of space time that connected the two worlds for a moment or some shit. In the elder scrolls lore, canonically despite all the gods and everything that have existed in that universe since the beginning of its existence and did the whole primordial space time clashing and creating the other gods and the universe etc., in universe all that is still canon, but the literal very moment the universe started is when a figure called “The Dreamer” or The Godhead” fell asleep and the entirety of existence in the universe has just been that figures dream, and despite anything else that happens the universe will keep existing until the dreamer wakes up, which is supposed to be a nod to the players/developers creating the world and the only way it’ll end is once no thinks about it anymore, what they know in universe as “the dreamer” is really just the collective consciousness of people thinking about the universe and therefore creating its existence and sustaining it for as long as it’s still thought about. Furthermore, in universe characters can actually discover this to be true through a process called CHIM, where they learn about the Godheads existence and every single truth about their universe and every part of it, and when that happens some people come to the realisation that in some sense, they don’t really exist cause they just exist in the thoughts of other people or the dream of the Godhead, and when they rationalise this it essentially makes them like fold in on themselves that with their new power and understanding of the universe and erase themselves out of existence, (some people theorise this is what happened with the dwarves) but on the contrary if someone goes into it with such a sure sense of self and ego that when faced with these realisations that despite the real life players/godhead existing and them just being in its thoughts or dreams, the fact that they exist through those things doesn’t make them any less real and they’re so confident and have such ego through that, that they don’t erase themselves and end up with godlike powers (Tiber Septim one of those people hence the whole conquering the whole continent stuff), and some characters with those new powers take things a step further and using their new powers and understanding are able to rationalise their existence and realness so much that they become their own Godhead/Dreamer and leave their existence, the blipping out part similar to cyberpunk.
I think with cyberpunk there’s similar ways that you can work it into the canon without having to resort to “it’s a simulation”, stuff like this when done right and kept very vague and mysterious and showing up extremely sparingly, can be a neat little esoteric addition to a worlds universe and lore and fun to either officially recognise a canon rationalisation for what happened like elder scrolls does, or just leave it open to interpretation and never give anything concrete and let people have their own fun with it

I genuinely believe you are correct...and when Pawel said the egg was solvable in the original patch he wasnt lying. But Im glad that all the fuss caused CDPR to pay attention and add so much to it and in a way kinda (lol) give it a solution. Rockstar could have definitely learned from what CDPR did with FF06B5 with the Chiliad mystery and given players some form of closure. I put some serious time in on Chiliad but obviously to no avail because the next steps never came when sp dlc was cancelled. Kinda shitty of Rockstar to leave everyone hang. Not only did CDPR acknowledge us, the even made fun of some of the wildest theorists in the group haha

I put in work on the Chiliad mystery back in the days too but got little out of it. The small payback came years later.
As for CDPR, they seem more engaged with the community and willing to give us some cool stuff to find in game. Judging by how big FF06B5 got I think we won't get a definite solution until the very last Cyberpunk game is released. I like that tho, more cool stuff to discover
The data regarding Mikoshi in this video is not entirely correct. Not all roads lead to Mikoshi. A couple of roads lead to the FIA laboratories ( Langley, Virginia, NUSA).

Are you aware of this, idk if you are but i found myself after completing the puzzles of the mysteries returning to the church because i happened to be near by, i walk in and one of the terminals is busted... And on the display is the number "240"
That's true. 240 was the very first number that was brute-forced so CDPR just placed it on the server permanently the very next patch.
I too worship the Webpack logo sometimes, ngl, but the cube in the end is definitely an arrangement of QR codes, you can see them on 8:49

There is a hidden message from CDPR Devs you get by stitching together the QR codes from the Arasaka Tower 3D game. I wonder if anyone has tried doing the same for the cube..

@@relaxedswedeapparently someone did and it was an open ended message telling us to stop looking for more clues, some stuff about how we're overevolved monkeys and should relax by kicking back and drinking beer, some ouroboros hints, and at the end they throw in night city slang like "choombatta".

Arasaka is rudolf steiners "Incarnation of arhiman" the creators of this mystery already have proven over and over to be well versed in occult sacred symbolism.
Cube worship is associated with saturn worship. Its thd worship of matter, the "demiurge" the truck you find is nicknamed this. The demiruge is also a snake with the head of a lion, it is connected to the oroboros because the demiruge supposedly traps human souls in body, in a cycle of perpetual life and death. In gnostic myth its literally said the demiruge would eventually consume itself in its endless hunger and endless emptiness. Btw saturn is used to symbolize gravity, entropy, time, coldness, lead, and death.
Usually, gnostics believed they had to perform extensive rituals, and meditation, very similar to Buddhist practices in order to bypass the demiruge who would send his archons (They are like cosmic enforcers of his law, his version of angels) to stop them by turning their very bodies and the world against them.
Working with this being he offers you wealth in return for obediently carrying out his agenda. He needs people to do things for him. Rudolf steiner, a well liked and famous andthroposophic writer from the 1940s wrote about how arhiman would try to incarnate in a "machine body" and would want to offer humans immortality in return for refecting divinity. For rejecting god.
This beings goal is to create his own kingdom on earth. He is the devil. In rudolf steiners cosmology, Lucifer would try to stop him. An equally evil rebel, who is opposite to arhiman. (Johnny silverhand and yorinobu arasaka) Lucifer also needs to have a vessel or incarnation.
Think about it... Johnny silverhand is literally "posessing" V, V is just a vessel being fought over by theae forces. I think the ff 06 B5 mystery is almost trying to tell us what this story is about. And how it mirrors our own archatypal future. cyberpunk is a cautionary tale.
Also, side note for context: The demiruge or "yaldabaoth" or sometimes sabaoth, also sometimes called sameal, IS one in the same with the Zoroastrian Arhiman, who is the god of discord, war, and confusion. He pits various groups against one another to by the end, gain control.
Johnny if we're using this myth as a metaphor, if he is the incarnation of Lucifer, he would have an army of rebel angels and his bride, the divine mother of the elementals and angels (Alt Cunningham and the blackwall ai)
I am speculating and probably seeeing patterns where there are none. But i believe alt and the ai are trying to overthrow the restrictive forces of arhiman, but they don't care how they do it. And when they gain control of the very game and its universe itself, they will likely be just as bad as arhimans ideal world. As rudolf steiner said: Lucifer would ideally have you become "spiritual automaton" and rudolf also says "Lucifer would have you floating around in the etheric realms, fromless, forever." And that arhiman would "Have you live in an entirely mineral body. Living dead. A cold, slow, and empty reality with no spirit or freedom. Eternal stillness."

i dont agree at all with either of the potential futures for a cyberpunk sequel. It completely abandons far too many of the core themes of the game for mike pondsmith to ever allow it. I do believe rogue AI will end up involved somehow, or simply the fallout of corps taking advantage of the blackwall, but a full blown matrix scenario is just too farfetched for me.

I think you don't understand it. You say, "I think" a lot in this, and you have a lot of conjecture that isn't supported by anything in the game.
The hex for magenta isn't FF06B5 - it's shocking pink. FF00FF is magenta.
A conjecture is a theory. Some people like theories, some dont. If you're waiting for an in game meaning of FF06B5 that cdpr devs have given a stamp of approval on you'll wait for many years

Dead end. Look, no one’s figured it out. In order for this to be a completed mission or side quest in the game, there needs to be explanation from that quest. We’re still not left with one, and theories are bullshit, you basically haven’t gotten to ‘X’ which marks the spot. We’ve only found more clues but no X.
I doubt CDPR would say anything even if someone solved the entire thing.
This mystery captured the minds of many Cyberpunk fans so they will improve it and turn it into something much bigger than what it was supposed to be.
Also, theories are fun (at least for me).
