No one is talking about bowman? Came back from a spin, (mostly) avoided 3 wrecks, and even after getting caught in the last big one he finished 7th? That's damn impressive.
As a Chase Elliott fan Chase blocked one to many times that wreck was on him overall I thought this race was pretty good definitely better than this year's Daytona 500
I dont think he blocked one to many times... he knew he had to block to stay out front. He anticipated Matty D move and was a fraction of a second late. If he had moved up just a little sooner that would have been a hell of a block. He was just a tad late... but he did a really nice job of anticipating what Matty D was about to do.
He had a quick car and if he had just stayed high or low he would have been able to stay close to the front and with this package he should have be able to get up to the front
@Daniel G this package was a lot safer then what we had at the start of the year we had no cars get airborne so this wreck was 75 percent chase for double blocking in a corner 25 Denny for push matt into it

Bruh, Austin Dillon was tweaking avoiding all those wrecks up until the final one, and even went from the back to fourth and had a shot to win if he didn't get shuffled back and involved in the last lap crash. Thrilling race at the very least.
So sad neither of the driver who needed to win couldn’t win. Such great lead changes like Matt dibenedetto, Ross chastain, Lajoie, Chris buscher, and even Daniel Saurez could’ve make the lead if it weren’t for Kurt Busch. At least we have one more plate track.
*Harvick fan here* Harvick had his best shot to win all year tonight. His superspeedway cars have been fantastic this year, capable of running up front every time. Frustrating move by Kurt there, because I think Harvick would have had a shot. Look for him at Talladega though! If he can make it out of the Round of 16, he could be a surprise Round of 8 appearance.
Same here, it sucks seeing Byron taken out at pretty much every "restrictor plate" race besides the 1 he won, he's always fast too. Ohh well glad Reddick hung on.
Man that was a great race. I love my boy Blaney has gotten 3 wins this season. Hoping he can build on this momentum. He could be a contender for the final four.

This is one of the best superspeedway races in the last year or so definitely. It mostly didn’t get too chaotic until the end and it had better pacing than the superspeedway races this year and some last year that looked more like a demolition derby than a race
At this point every Superspeedway race has a huge block that causes a huge wreck. Think about it, the 400 last year reddick made that block, the fall Talladega Dibenedetto almost wrecked everyone on the last lap, the 500 this year Logano did it, the Talladega race this spring had one from Hamlin that caused the one big wreck, and then this race with Elliott. Plus many more examples from races before. It is basically inevitable at this point.
I'm a wood bros fan and pull for whoever drives their car. My 2nd driver is blaney. The race he won at Pocono had some of the best late laps I've seen holding off bush and Harvick. He is also the 1st I remember seeing give flag to a young fan.
Had Kurt’s push not turned into a hook this was Suarez’s race to win. He had the momentum and think he could’ve cleared Harvick & Blaney, though that would’ve been close. So close there, but the push he was getting just didn’t work out for him. It did work out for Bilicki & McLeod, though. Regardless of the wreck, happy to see them Top 10.
No more Pay wall somehow the 10 o’clock news supersedes NASCAR after race coverage should’ve been held on NBC . we don’t even know who won the regular season because it was not showing on NBC it was showing on NBCSN.
Very entertaining, exciting race. Ryan Blaney has become the New David Pearson of Nascar. Like Pearson, Blaney just hangs around for 80% of the race saving his car...then the last few laps there he is... Blaney should go to the #21 team...it fits him.

Overall, this is one hell of a Daytona race this year, but a nice way to end of this season! First we got the Daytona for the first race of the regular season and now we got Daytona once again for the final race of the regular season! So many big wrecks happened as always and I’ve seen lots of underdogs coming into the Top 20 and Top 10 such as Landon Cassill for example, it’s a shame that he got taken out from the big one that happened. It’s nice to see Ryan Blaney get his 3rd win of the season and it’s the 2nd time he’s won in the BodyArmor car!
I was there it was a good race. I thought it was going to be different with the new package but it was still good racing. Off to Darlington next weekend.
