    Thanks for sharing with us!
Oh My! Deer and squirrels ate all of my tomatoes. They are very smart. They waited until the tomatoes were ripe🙂.

I'm going to try this in OH next year in mid-April with a black bucket and compost for best heat retention.

I imagine this method could work for peppers or whatever else I want to get an early start on?

When does Mike start the tomatoes inside? And when does he plant them into the garden? I'm in Nashville and was thinking maybe around March 1? Not sure.

10/10 on his process. IDK if I'd risk the mixing fertilizer without an EC meter to verify TDS. I wish I knew of a way to bypass the iron deficiency caused by cold weather.

His plants grow up to 20ft tall each year. If you arent experienced in such things it is probably better to have an EC meter. But if you have been doing this in the same soil for as long as this man. He just knows and it all grows.

Curious about the last frost date for his growing area and how early he plants like this? Is there an overnight temp you reach before you do this? I live in a short grow season, 120 days with a last frost date of end of May. Though, we can have frost 365. I'd like to try this, this year.

Guideline for last frost date for this location is April 15.
