Agreed. Save the commercial fertilizers and concentrate for hydroponics...I have started my tomato and cucumbers that way but the remaining crop is organic

Thank you so much!! That's how I am learning to garden. This is my 3 yr making a no dig, organic, lasagna, cottage garden. I have made mistakes like mixing rustic pinebark mulch in lasagna layers and been real disappointed with the results but not giving up. I'm 71 and live in southern Indiana, no time to waste.😊
What happens with pine bark? Too green? Rustic pine bark a type or just old pine bark? Thank you

Thanks for making this video. This year I've put my scraps directly in the dirt but I'll blend the scraps (with water) in the blender first. You are so right about the abundance of worms as I turned the dirt over yesterday I was suprised by the increase of worms....a lot of worms, tons of them.
When we reach our senior age and dont know what to do I think this hobby or passion will add more years on our lifetime if we do it ....Gardening is fun but Farming is a challenge....
I am 45 I do this for feeding mom myself and my animals !
Wow.!!!!! This is a perfect idea for seniors to keep them moving- Good exercise for them + healthy foods- But not everyone are into gardening tho. It's a reaaaaalllly nice garden mixed of everything. I love it💝

I finally got all of the rise beds for my rise bed garden last week. I've got 7 rise beds for the Spring of 2020 in my back yard here in PA. I wrote down what I want to do as far as filling them with soil. Let me know your thoughts on my layering and if I should change it before I start to fill them?
I place the beds where I want them to be and Yesterday I dig about a 6-10 inch trench in the bottom of 3 of the 7 beds and filled those trenches with tree branches. Next, I'm going to add some wood chips. My friend told me that I can have some of his cow manure. So I will be picking that up this week. This brings me to the 3rd layer cow manure. I have to put this layer under the soil so as not to stink up the neighborhood being that I live in the city. The 4th layer will be a mix of my clay soil and compost that I get free from our local compost center. I'm just not sure of the quality but free is free. plus I have been purchasing some bags of Black Kow and other bags of everything under the sun into the soil mix. I am going to add some sand as I plan on putting a worm tower in each of the beds and they need the sand for their digesting system to produce good worm casting. Then the icing on the cake will be my rabbit manure and straw to cover the bed for the winter. I'm hoping this plan works and I can have a good crop this Spring.

I googled Korean ho and I must say, some of the real ones are quite expensive. Judgeing by the videos Suggested by google, Korean hos are very versatile. God bless Korean ho's! Also good for making kim chi.

Great method that is used in this garden. I know he says he doesn't use chemicals and listed a few organic amendments, my question is does he use lime? or does the soil ph it's self?
