My father in law was a farmer and when he grew tomatoes he would trim back a lot of extra branches so the tomatoes would benefit. They were great. I will try this “home made” greenhouse. Very nice! Thanks

The older people never destroyed the blinds on the tomato plant you'll have few Tomatoes they may be somewhat bigger but very few on your Vine. Do research before you take all the suckers off. In the South we need them shaded the more focused the better it keeps your tomatoes from frying or glycerin in the hot sun....❤

Too much work. You have to keep planting a new batch of plants maybe twice a month to have a continuous supply of tomatoes all year round as they get bad. I guess you could can the tomatoes or freeze them to put in beans, sups, etc. It's work. I think you are better off buying the tomatoes at the store, unless you are bored or you like to do this kind of work.

Well spotted. I agree. From 70 days to 90 days suddenly many ripe red tomatoes appear, many of them singles where tomatoes do not grow from a truss but from a leaf apex. And they are a different variety than the immature green tomatoes and the sad and weak "second" harvest.
