You can also use a lighter to melt the edges of your rope so it doesn’t fray :)

I find it much easier to take some beads out and lay them out and use the needle to pick them up. Maybe that could help with time 🙃
We’ve tried that method in class…my high school students really tend to do better just putting them on one by one. I agree it’s faster though!

Hi, you can use the needle to pick up the beads, its way easier.
Hi Sophi! You are definitely correct! However, I’ve found that my high school students tend to have a better outcome placing them on one by one 😅 My students are who the video was originally made for 😊
I wanted to teach this to a large class. Do you know about how many grams or beads you use about per bracelet?
Fun! It takes approximately 2,000 2mm beads…give or take some depending wrist size. Good luck!

Where did you buy the rope?
the rope listed in the description is a different size..should i use the 1/2 inch or 1/4 inch rope?
Either will work...it just depends on how big you want the bracelet to be! I prefer the 1/4, but it's completely your preference :)

Yes! I started the class (Jewelry & Glass) when I was hired at the high school I teach at 13 years ago. It has now grown to be the only class I teach all day, and it fills half of another teacher’s schedule as well. We have four levels of it as well as advanced options. It’s such a fun class!
What size are your seed beads?
Hi Patti! These are 2mm. The absolute best beads to use for this are Miyuki beads, because they are all cut the exact same size. It makes the pattern come out so nice!! Thanks for watching :)

Why is she not using the needle to pick up the beads. She is using her fingers and that takes long
