I've been working on mine today and its turning out really good. Didn't take long to catch on at all. This is my very first experience so thank you for being part of it and teaching me.
Thank you. I am michelle. You are the best one yet that I have found to learn. I was so impressed at your advanced teaching. I did it on a lanyard. Thanks so much. I could not believe how easy you made it.
I followed your tutorial and completed my first Lanyard. If I new how to post a pic in here I would show you. Thank you so much for your very informative video.
Hello Hannah thank you for your video I'm native from Oklahoma I really like her technique of the rope beating. You did an awesome job keep up the work
Awesome! I love anything to do with my heritage, and you don't see a lot of content out of Northern Ontario! Definitely will be supporting the channel🔥
Good Evening: I absolutely love your tutorial for a wrist lanyard. I've been watching different tutorials all day and checked yours out and I got it, immediately. It was also a stroke of good luck that you're left handed. Thank you and I'm anxious to begin and create...
Dear Hannah, I'm left - handed too and your tutorial on this type of beading is the first one I've been able to follow and understand properly. As you no doubt know there are hardly any tutorials for left handers and I get really frustrated because I just can't do certain things right handed. My brain won't let me!! LOL 😂 So thank you so much for making this brilliant video. Love from Amanda in Melbourne, Australia P.S. Have you done other videos for left handed people Hannah, because I'd love to see them?
Hey Hannah! Thanks for the video! My husband is Siletz Native American, and his family (now my own) taught me bead working a couple years ago. I got really good at loom work, but am just now learning to do lanyards and key chains. Id love some more videos on bead wrapping designs for lanyards and key chains if you have any ideas. :)
I am brand new to making jewelry/beading, going to make this today and im wondering should i stick to one type of beed or is it okay(will it work) if mixing up beeds? Like czech preciosa and mixing them with czech seed beads. Or adding in the miyuki. I have a little bit of all those beads and I'm just not sure which ones to use
hi Hanna! Your tutorials are great!! ive got the peyote stich down and have done a few feathers for my art work. my question today is should i use a larger bead when im working with a tomahawk shaft (about 1 1/4 in diameter) ive been working with 8/0 seed beads wondering if i should use a larger size bead for a larger diameter object . about to buy more beads should i step up sizes?? thank you!!
the kind i’m using is called paracord and I got it from the dollar store! Home hardware stores have sturdier ropes which would be easier but you can use any type!
Amazing tutorial. I'm finally learning how to bead and didn't know where to start exactly. But I think lanyards are a great way for me to get started. Once I become more comfortable I'll get in to necklaces and earring. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you very much, you are a wonderful teacher. You explained the process in detail and without speaking nonsense. I’ve learned much from you. I look forward in learning more from you. Again, Thank you very much. You’re awesome!
what website do you buy your beads please ? I found some on amazon but they are really all irregular, like some are too round and others too flat.. thank you very much 😊
When your finished sewing the leather do you just make a knot on the outside? How do you hide the knot? Also were do you get the size 10 beads from, tha k you in advance 😊

Peyote stitch is also very good for going around things!

Hi, where do you get your beads from? :)
I get them from a native-owned store in my town called supplies for the soul! you can also purchase online at iBead:)
You can get them from Hobby Lobby.
Only 2 videos ? Anymore coming soon
👆💯🦅✊️

Hobby Lobby has rubber thimbles when you're trying to push the needle through the leather it works better.
I FINALLY understand!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 I can not thank you enough!!!
❤Love her Demonstration Rope Stitch . Made a rope beaded lanyard this style and it’s beautiful . Thanks . Will keep using this method ❤️
You did a great job explaining how to bead a lanyard for a beginner like me. I really enjoyed your tutorial and will give it a try, thank you!
i thought i was the only one who connects new thread to old thread.
When you're going back through the circle to secure it in place are you going through the rope itself or just through the circle
Thanks for showing a wrap technique that doesn't leave a seam when you change the bead color.
thank you its like 2024 but I wanna make these cuz im in beading phase right now etc and ur a great teacher ❤❤❤please make new videos for us 🫶🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
This tutorial is exactly what I was looking for!

I was wondering how come I have gaps between my rows of beads and how can I fix it. Thank you for your video and your time and help.
Thank you very much, you are a wonderful teacher. You explained the process in detail and without speaking nonsense. I’ve learned much from you. I look forward in learning more from you. Again, Thank you very much. You’re awesome!
Hehe!! Your thread pulls right through the paracord, because you don't tie a big enough knott! 🙂
En donde puedo conseguir el hilo o mecate para bace del collar?
She did 2 videos and then stopped? Sad cause she's really good.
I love your method! I tried to follow other videos & did no good, sigh. Thank you so much for sharing your method, simple & easy to follow.
So happy I found your channel & your work looks so CLEAN & NEAT. Thank you so much for sharing😁
I am 1st Nation/Dine'
I love this tutorial! Thank you so much for sharing. I subscribed bc you are a lefty too ❤️
I use wax on my threads.. it helps to go in the eye of the needle easier
if you could give me some design ideas, that would be great
Great video!! I love the idea of alternating bead colors. Also, thank you for showing how to attach leather to the lanyard. Thank you so much!!!!❤️🥰
i use pliers to flatten my thread. since i have no teeth...lol
Ah you are AMAZING. So many videos they do the second way and I don't like that way because it isn't as secure.
thank you❤️ and I agree!
Thank-you for this video!! So helpful, working on my first wristlet now ❤🙏🤞
I’ve seen it done with loaded the beads and wrapping later
Great video, thank you!

Do you think there could be another bead put in the circle? There seems to be a little gap.
Yes, put as many as you need to make a full wrap around:)
Beautiful. TFS. Blessings.

My name is Brenna. I am a member of Siksika First Nations.
Hello hanna ,thank you for a great video, I'm assiniboine ,mishta, Cherokee creek
Ive been Manawaki Algonquin rez many times. Have inlaws there. Beautiful country!!
What is the name of the rope that you use? I can’t find any.
it’s called paracord, they have it at stores like home hardware or home depot. they sell really thick stuff as well but I prefer the thinner ropes
Great thank you sooo much! I’m so excited to give this a try
I purchased a 3000 ft spool of 4lb braided fishing line from ebay and is is great for beading it doesn't break
What is the thickness of the paracord you are using?
All paracord is the same thickness.
I went to 3 different stores and got 3 different sizes of paracord, I'm using the thicker one just to get the hang of it first... :)
@@mikaelahills9860 There are Different sizes and Thickness!!
amazing. may i know from where you got scarfs hanging behind you? they are colorful and amazing. thx
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!! Beautiful work!! ❤🙏🏼❤🥰🥰🥰
Great video, i'm interested in starting some beeding and needed ideas for gifts. thanks
I like this way. I didnt like the way the beads didn’t match up and this is a little faster than peyote.
Thank you, beautiful. Here I go trying for myself.
What kind of rope did you use? Can I use a nylon clothes line rope
How can I make my own pattern? Or where can I do my own pattern?
Such a soft kind voice. Great tutorial. Lovely
