Just subscribed been doing and in bands for 50 years this little tip fixed 2 of my mixers....thanks so much never thought of it thought it was a bigger problem...your awesome
I realize this video is a few years old but I have been having issues with the FX returns o my 1202 for a few years now and couldn't figure out what was wrong. I had tried Deoxit several times but the issues persisted (intermittent signal). Well after watching this video I tried tightening the jack nuts as suggested and the issue appears to have gone way. I wanted to thank you for posting this and for helping me solve my problem!
If you fiddle around with something for long enough, sometimes it become "fixed." Also remember that "if you fiddle with something for long enough, you'll break it." "Adjusting" this mixer by tightening and loosening the nuts that hold the jack in place is ridiculous. Sure, tighten those nuts if they're loose. After that, spray some contact cleaner down into the jack and insert and remove a plug a bunch of times. the previous advice to bend the "springs" on the jack might also be useful but they're not normally accessible.
Those 1/4" inputs have three clicks, it's called a 3 stage input so depending on what cable you're using, whether it's a tip sleeve (TS) or tip ring sleeve (TRS) and what your input source is, you should insert those cables in different positions in the input. It's all in the user manual, perhaps you should check one of those out before using gear in a professional situation.
Help Hello .. I bought a behringer eurorack mx 802a on eBay without powersupply... Based on research the powersupply thst comes with it is 18v for 2 of the pins (xlr) at 800 mah. However the powersupplies being sold on eBay for it is 17v for 2 pins at 600mah... Can those eBay power supplies work? Regards thanks
My mixer is still working but my level indicators aren't moving anymore they stay on red also my db meter and spectrum analyzer are not as sensitive anymore I have to turn it up louder to see them now my mixer is a brand new 3 week old pyle 83bt I'm stumped is this normal or is it broken and should I get a new mixer
How do i fix the usb input from the mixer to the computer? The sound is okay when i listen on my earphones but when it’s recorded on the computer, it sounds horrible
You definitely found the source of the problem but by turning those nuts the problem will not be fixed. You have to replace the sockets in order to fix it right.
It's not broken idiot, it's a 3 stage input. READ A FUCKING USER MANUAL NOW AND THEN PEOPLE! Holy shit, the amount of people on UA-cam that are offering up information yet have no fucking idea what they're talking about scares the shit out of me more and more every day.
