Thanks for your input. I wonder how good the sunstars would look like. Maybe you can give us some feedback about that👌
Great video, thank you. Was about to part ex my Fuji 16-80 for a Fuji 16-55 f2.8, now, not sure, Tamron perhaps?.
I'm wondering to buy this lense. How is compared to 18-55 kit lense? Is it worth buy if i own 18-55?
I bought that lense 8 months ago and Im so happy about it. It also, besiddes the things you told, is a great close up lense. If you have a camera without internal stabilisation its absolutly worth the price as it also have a great stabilisation build in.
What settings do you use for focus?
I have this lens for 2 months and became my daily lens. It's really good.
I'm really struggling with the amount of noise in the EVF/LCD when zooming in to try and get the focus right on the stars, do you have the same problem? Is there a way around it?
Please do a in depth review of this lens.
Currently is close to 700€ in Amazon Spain. I have the 11-20 and am quite happy with it. I’m looking at this lens cause it would be a nice, light travel set.
Cheers Matt, it’s Sean in Atlanta! Outstanding images, my friend! That first image was amazing!
When are you going to Europe? The season should be perfect for your awesome photography! I met a Scottish photographer who took that same image you did of The Vennel in Edinburgh! Remember that video???
Sean
I am actually considering buying this lens, but I am very curious how it is performing in video. Could you please make a vid with indepth video performance of this lens? Thanks a lot.
Hi Matthew, thanks for introducing this lens. Are you using long exposure noise reduction? I found it to be a really cumbersome setting so I turned it off, is it worth keeping on?
How is the coma in the corners?
Que video tan aburrido
What app you use
Recently I sold my Fuji 16-80 and bought the Tamron 17-70. The corner softness of the Fuji use to annoy me a lot. I am finding the Tamron epic!
The Fuji has excellent corner sharpness on mtf charts, assuming you use the right shutter and you are not expecting peak corners at 80 mm. 3rd party lenses for whatever reason also tend to have worse saturation in raw files.
Have you found deviations in the color rendering?
The 16-80 on the X-H2 isn't great, and the corners are soft ,so I bought the Tamron for the focal range and constant 2.8, and it's excellent.
What’s name of your app ? It’s have in I-Phon?
I also need the answer 😓
I guess it’s called PhotoPills, you need to pay ten bucks to get it.
