When I use the trakcer my button is blue and when I track it goes to a "Black screen" and doesnt do anything. I reinstalled it but nothing is working. Can you please help?
Sorry I have to ask. Does all tracking callout from MotionVFX could be applied like this exact same method? I am interested with Peter Lindgren Mchannel pack but he never perform tutorial for his tracking callout. Hope to get a reply from you.
Any of the callout packs can be tracked in the same way. I'm not 100% sure if mChannel has any tracking callouts. My advice would be to reach out to the MotionVFX support team for more information. They are super friendly and they will definitely be able to help 😄
It probably is. I would recommend creating the callout first, then putting it in a compound clip and tracking that compound clip to your footage. Hope that helps! 😄🤞🏼
Brad, do you have any suggestions if I only need static callout from 2:39. I basically need title with one end of the line to be static and other end of the line to be moving/tracking the object. Any cheap suggestions please?
Hey Matus. That is what the "Static" option does in this pack. The end of the line where the text is stays in one place, and the other end of the line tracks. Is that what you're wanting to achieve?
Yes it is. But; 1. I wanted to see if there is any more affordable option for only one simple callout with that option 2. I tried to download demo and it works great most of the time. But sometimes auto tracking doesn't work well especially in my case because I have to track an object that AI in this software just can't track correctly, so I would like to edit those frames manually. I can't do it with that demo version that I got so that's why I was trying to get different option. 3. Maybe create my own in motion? And then I can just add keyframes but only to one end of the line? Do you think that's possible?
Yeah it’s not ideal. Like I said, if you have standard callouts you can still track the entire callout using the built in tracker but in order to be able to tracker the point separate to the text, you’d need a tracking callout plugin like this.
Happy to help. Apple Motion is great and for only $50 it does a lot! The Final Cut Bro has great Motion tutorials on UA-cam if you want to get a better idea of what it’s capable of 😊🙌🏼
It doesn’t have them built in but you can create your own custom ones. Motion will allow you to create motion graphics and export templates to FCP or you can export the callout on the video file and import the video file into FCP 😊
