Loved this! I would NOT have guessed romaine outperforming leaf lettuce on so many nutrients. So cool to know, esp. since I actually prefer romaine, although it's probably a good idea to blend it with red leaf, healthwise.

Thank you for this video!! I went vegetarian about 5 months ago and am still getting used to the diet. I started using kale, spinach leaf and baby chard. But have recently been eating romaine. I go with my intuition when picking foods. Now I know why 😁😁😁. This helps me to know I'm doing a good job by picking the best lettuce. You are such a positive person, it's amazing❤️

I have just found your videos, and am most impressed with the content, conciseness, and presentation. You speak clearly enough, even for me, but the background 'music' is very off-putting. Those of us who are genuinely interested in learning what you have to teach, would prefer just your voice. Thank you for all your work.

Thank you for this video. It helped me tremendously understand why my body had a negative reaction to a salad of red leaf lettuce only yesterday. Now I think I know now watching this that I need to mix just a bit of it in with other lettuces because of my allergies and not eat so much of it alone in my salad next time. I have also shared it widely to educate others. Thanks again.

… a very in-depth nutritional profile; visual presentation (with the graphics) made the information easy to understand, and the pace of the video allowed for taking in the information steadily but not ‘too slow’. I also appreciate the breakdown of the nutritional profile into the four main headings. Also … I think the tone-of-voice/speaking is both inviting and pleasant … aspects that are important but often don’t receive enough consideration and attention by some other presenters.
I liked and subscribed; looking forward to viewing additional videos, and best of luck to you in this endeavor. 🙂

*Reasons to eat the following lettuces:*
Romaine = It is the densest in vitamins and omegas across the board
Red Leaf = Red Leaf is the densest in minerals and amino acids across the board; and from personal experience, it's the best tasting one
Green Leaf = It has the highest Vitamin K value of the three

My wife and I retired to Roatan, Honduras. There is a company on the island that grows hydroponically all three and it is sold in the supermarket as a mix! We eat salads 3 to 4 times a week at lunch and also include tomatoes, avocados and cucumbers. Definitely, going too view your fermentation videos. It is in the 80"s most days so will do small batches and into the fridge.
